Pros:

Very Gentle

Cons:

Too Gentle - does not remove makeup well

I have very sensitive skin, which this product is good for, but if I wanted to remove make-up from my face, this cleanser does not get rid of the make-up.

Pros:

Excellent for dry skin, as it does not strip off your moisture balance.
Helps relieve acne.

Cons:

Sometimes it leaves sticky residue, even if you rinsed it with water! Also, I think it actually clogged my pores, because whiteheads started appearing like crazy after I started using this product.

I think by far this product works the best for me. I have dry sensitive skin, and have tried so many other products which didn't really work. Cetaphil is gentle on my skin, and does not make my skin feel tight after wash. It's important to consider this point when choosing whether or not a product works for you. A suitable cleanser should not make your skin feel tight after wash. If it does, then it's probably too drying. Cetaphil also helps me manage my acne. I'm not saying it makes my acne completely gone, but it does relieve one way or another. I still got ocassional breakout, but washing my face with Cetaphil definitely helps relief the acne. Highly recommended product for people who have dry/sensitive skin.

Pros:

Not too expensive, easy to find, different sizes to choose from.

Cons:

After a while I started having dead skin on my face.

I used it for over 2 months with no problem. Then, dead skin started appearing on my face. Sure, that 's okay but it looked reall ybad. So, I have decided to stop and get the purpose kind. You should get another kind.

Pros:

Gentle on the skin

Cons:

Not a very clean feel

Rather costly for soap

It just doesn't feel like I cleaned my face well after I use it. I don't have a refreshed feeling at all. I think when I used it without water it felt like I was cleansing my face more thoroughly, but it's more covenient to use water.

Pros:

Very gentle, non-drying. A bottle lasts a really long time. They also sell travel size bottles, which is great. Have been using for 17 years on the advice of a dermatologist, and haven't had problems with my skin since.

Cons:

No cons.

Since it isn't drying and doesn't leave a lot of residue on your skin if you rinse with water (like in the shower), you might think that there is still product left on your face, but there isn't. You may need to get used to it and give it a chance to work. Like I said, I've been using it for 17 years and have had no acne problems since starting. For the occasional breakout, I will use Biore wipes at night on the affected area, but other than that, only the Cetaphil. I would highly recommend it.
