Pros:

It's very gentle. Even though it has no fragance it has a fresh smelly feeling. It's cheaper than other cleansers and easy to use.

Cons:

Like many other users I am getting some redness and flaky feeling which I thought was cause from the Differin gel I am using but I've been using Differin for a year a never got that reaction. I believe it comes from the sodium lauryl sulfate

Try it, if it works, keep on using it but if you get a bumps in your forehead, redness on your nose, seborreic dermatitis; it's probably caused by it cuz that's what I got. At first I refused to believe it was the cleanser but the thing is that my other cleansers before this one did not contained sodium lauryl. My skin is oily and I stop medications this summer to try the Cetaphil, I got no acne but seborreic dermatitis on my forehead. I thought it was because I stop medicating with Diff the skin but even now using the Differin gel I have and its caused by Cetaphil. BTW the Walgreens brand burns my face. I recomend this product on your body and the mouisturizewr its great as a shaving cream try it and you'll love it.

Pros:

Gentle, non-irritating, effective, leaves skin feeling clean and soft, not tight and dried out. Good for post-acne sufferers and those with sensitive skin. Smells very clean and fresh.

Cons:

Can help with, but does not eliminate acne lesions. Expensive.

It's undeniably the best facial cleaner for people AFTER your major problems with acne have been solved. I found that many other facial cleaners were too harsh after my acne was gone, and actually made it just come back. This product will reduce minor acne, and makes your skin feel awesome, with no irritation or dryness. However, if you suffer from a sudden breakout of more severe acne, it will not be as effective. It is pricey, but worth it.

It's great. Just use it. :)

Pros:

Few ingrdients, no fragrance.

Cons:

None.

This is the ONLY cleanser that made my skin flawless. It cleans and hydrates it. It is a no nonsense product that gets the job done. Since using Cetaphil gentle cleanser, I stopped wearing make-up. It is freeing and a money savior. Before Cetaphil, my skin was breaking out and dehydrated constanly from all the crap (Ex: fragrance and other harsh ingredients) that is in most products. I used Proactiv and it ruined my face: dehydration, brown spots and more breakouts. With Cetaphil my skin is bouncing back. I love this basic cleanser and love the fact that it is neutral. I also found out that I don't need as many products any more (which is bad to start with). My routine is simple: Cetaphil Cleanser and Eucerin Fragrance free moisturizer 30 spf. Voila.

Pros:

Not too expensive, easy to find, different sizes to choose from.

Cons:

After a while I started having dead skin on my face.

I used it for over 2 months with no problem. Then, dead skin started appearing on my face. Sure, that 's okay but it looked reall ybad. So, I have decided to stop and get the purpose kind. You should get another kind.

Pros:

-good to my skin, didn't leave it red
-didn't make my skin worse, but it didn't make it much better.

Cons:

-too thin, i felt the need to pile on the product
-does not clean pores well
-does not lather

Oh my goodness! Where to begin! I randomly started breaking out, suffering from white heads/really clogged pores. I had been using the same make up products for a long while before so i knew it wasn't the make up's fault. My skin was having issues on its own so i need something to sooth it. It seemed this product was my best bet. It also advertised how it clears make up out of pores so that sold me even more. So the first time I used it, it felt awkward because it wouldn't lather, but i just kept washing away with my hands. When I got to my astrigent step i was shocked! The cotton pad was BROWN. I had spent so much money and it didn't clean a thing! I later ended up washing my face with this (after all the money i spent on it, i wasn't going to buy another cleanser) using a little manual facial brush (created a little lather), and the duo caused my cotton pad to come out less brown.. but it was still brown. I'm still using the cleanser out of guilt because of the price, but i have to use a facial wipe before, and then the brush with it, so the cotton pad can come out with barely anything on it. BOTTOM LINE- it doesn't clear pores very well, if at all, on its own when washing with hands (ESPECIALLY IF YOU WEAR MAKE UP) With a brush its a little better. While using this cleanser, i rely on my astrigent. The astrigent is what ended up saving my skin.

Pros:

Gentle
Non-irritating
Easy to apply
Don't need much

Cons:

Causes a few acne
Doesn't lather
Don't give the feel like it's cleaning the skin

I started using this product after Christmas day because I noticed a lot whiteheads, blackheads and oil in my skin because of the food I ate. After using it for one day I don't see any difference on my face, but I still continued using it. After 3 days my face broke out! Red large bumps with white pus starts to form... I feel like giving up but I give it another chance to restore my skin for one week. After one week, the acne blemishes and the pimples disappeared. I'm still grateful it restores my skin to its normal state. Forget about the parabens it contained because those are added in a very small amount. I also became horrified at first, but after researching it, those parabens may cause breast cancer, but you are not applying it on your breast and you are not ingesting it so no big deal. Just give it a chance to work on your skin.

Pros:

doesn't dry skin,cleans skin well,

It wont dry out your skin and cleans your skin pretty well.Doesn't get rid of acne though.

Pros:

good for sensitive skin

Cons:

not very good at cleansing

I used to love this product because it wasn't some hardcore cleanser that will dry out your skin and whatnot. But when I started using a toner after I washed my face with this, I realized how much dirt and whatnot that was still left on my skin and i was shocked. I'm still currently using it because I haven't found another cleanser that is sensitive enough for my skin but I would only recommend using this in the morning.
