Pros:

Very gentle and makes skin feel smooth and soft.

Cons:

Doesn't really help with acne, and doesn't remove makeup very good. It's a bit too gentle for my liking.

It's good for sensitive skin because it's gentle

Pros:

Nice stuff, does NOT irritate, cleans skin well and reduces acne slightly, skin feels great.

Cons:

None really.

Really good for skin, doesn't make a huge difference to acne but cleared up my skin somewhat, still have pimples so am trying clearasil but highly reccomended for people with light acne or just as a skin cleanser... does not irritate skin in any way. Great product.

Pros:

Very gentle
Pretty good as a shaving cream

Cons:

Thick
Does not lather

This product feels like a lotion. Because its thick you can use it to shave without cutting yourself as long as you shave properly. Its a good face wash, but I prefer something gentle that I can lather.

Pros:

Amazing for dry, sensitive skin. Cleanses but doesn't over-do it or dry the skin out. As gentle as a product can be. Great cleanser to use prior to using any type of treatment, medication or moisturizer. Calms my skin of most redness and irritation.

Cons:

The consistency does take a little while to get used to like most people are saying but it's worth it. Also for me it seems to leave a little film on the face which I don't like during the day so I only use it at night and it's fine by the next day.

I saw results on my dry, sensitive, flaky skin after just a few uses of this product. I was tired of irritating and drying my skin out with harsh products so I switched to this. It has been great so far. Also for the people worried about Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, it's literally 1% or less of a concentration of it, it's harmless in those amounts. I highly recommend this stuff, especially for people with dry, damaged skin. It's also excellent for winter. I use it in conjunction with CeraVe moisturizer and a healthy, skin care Diet and my skin is healing up very well.

Pros:

gentle, fragrance-free, cheap, non-drying.

Cons:

not sure how effective in removing makeup.

I've tried using neutrogena extra gentle cleanser for a week and it clogged up my pores. Switch to this and I've no problem so far.

Pros:

Gentle on my VERY sensitive skin, it was recommended by my dermatologist as well as discovered by research to be the best facial cleanser in the book Clear Skin Diet. Over-the-counter and pretty cheap for a big bottle!

Cons:

I wish the sensitive skin version came in a pump form. It also doesn't feel like soap (no lather) which takes some getting used to.

This should probably be your basic facial cleanser, and the bonus is that if you don't want to use a heavy moisturizer you can just pat it off instead of rinsing and it keeps skin soft-- these were, in fact, instructions from my dermatologist, and, although he was a bit of a quack in other ways, THIS was definitely a great idea. I also occasionally exfoliate and use different cleansers to cleanse a little more deeply.

Pros:

This cleanser is great it doesn’t dry out my skin and my breakouts have really clamed down since.

Cons:

None

My skin is really sensitive but I still get terrible breakouts, most cleansers designed to rid pimples are way to drying and only increased my skin's oil production. The great thing for me is that I can use the benzoyl peroxide cream my GP prescribed me and not end up waking up all dry and flaky!

Pros:

Very, very, gentle for my sensitive skin, does not overdry or make my face feel tight. Can be used without water/ for makeup removal. Very cheap!

Cons:

Large, unwieldy bottle. Slightly unsatisfying because it doesn't foam like a soap.

Since I have started using the gentle skin cleanser, I have not had a single breakout. My skin is calm, clear, and soft! I love this stuff and I wish I had used it in high school! I do occasionally use other cleansers so that my face doesn't get too used to it, the same way I occasionally use a clarifying or deep moisturizing shampoo. Mostly I use St. Ives Apricot Scrub in addition to the Cetaphil- about once a week, I like to exfoliate a little bit. This combo has worked for me!

Pros:

Goes on very smooth and washes off well
Removes make up/cover up
Fragrance free

Cons:

Hasn't reduced pimples (though it doesn't really claim to)

This is a really nice cleanser. At first I was bothered by the fact that it didn't "foam", but it's so nice to smooth on and then wash off, and it does remove make up and concealer/foundation very easily. I also have very sensitive skin, and so far it hasn't burned, made me itchy, or caused rashes, so that's nice!
