Pros:

very gentle on skin
moisturizing
inexpensive
doesn't break me out.

Cons:

does not remove makeup
doesn't foam up, so it really won't remove much dirt

i really like this product as my morning gentle cleanser, but i don't use it at night becuase it is horrible at removing makeup and dirt buildup from the day. i have naturally dry skin, so i need to keep my cleansers gentle and smooth. it leaves my skin soft, and its very refreshing. the consistency is water-like. not thick.

Pros:

-NONE!

Cons:

-drys out the skin
-caused skin to feel so tight
-wrinkles appeard due to dryness
-caused horrible breakout
-makes my skin feel so itchy

This may be a great product for some, but for me this was one of the WORST products I have used for my face! In combination with the lotion the two have caused so much damage that no other product has caused on my face! I started using the product after reccomendation from my derma, and the first couple of days liked the product - apart from the dryness there was no obvious problems. The more I used the product over the week the worse my problems got - my skin started to feel tighter and so dry and a few wrinkles started to appear. After a week of application I woke up to a PURPLE face and a face full of whiteheads!!!! After through investigation I realised it was the cetaphil products and I must have had some sort of severe reaction to them! A week now since I have stopped using it and my face is not the same - its so sensitive! I feel so itchy - must have been an allergic reaction to something their products contain! Never again - I really dont reccomend this product at all - yuck!

Pros:

Very gentle
Does not contain a chemical treatment
Little smell
Noncomedogenic
Does not dry out skin too much

Cons:

Does not feel like it really cleanses the skin very well. In other words, too gentle.

Does not lather at all really

You can use it if it is what you have. It will not hurt. However, it cannot be used to shave with and it may leave you feeling like you need to wash again. I would recommend just buying something better instead of relying on this.

Pros:

This has done wonders for my otherwise very dry skin. One of the best products I have used.

The softness and smoothness of my skin makes me feel much younger.

Pros:

Face feels clean
Make redness go down
Feels gentle on my skin

Cons:

None so far

I have only been using Cetaphil for one day and yes perhaps I shouldn't be jumping to conclusions but it has already seemed to have done wonders for my skin. I have damaged skin due to a bad experience with using proactive and already I see improvements. The redness is going down. I would wake up every day with a new pimple but none, so far and none seem to be forming. My old one aren't sore or flaky anymore. I look forward to continuing using it. I would love to get my clean skin back again.

Pros:

Extremely gentle, soothes and softens skin, calms redness, non-drying, inexpensive.

Cons:

Consistency.

Here's the deal (and it's been said on here many times) - the consistency is awful. It's like watery goo or clear lotion. Your skin will not feel "fresh and clean" or stripped. However, with that said, it's still one of the best face washes out there. It never dries out my skin, even in the winter, and I have pretty dry skin. It soothes and calms redness, and it leaves my face feeling soft and moisturized. If you can get over the no foaming or lathering, it's amazing.

It is the best acne cleanser I have tried. I got a Cetaphil cleanser for oily acne prone skin, which is my skin type. Great product!

Pros:

-The best cleanser there is hands down
-Aids in the reduction of acne.
-Does not irritate skin or lead to dryness.
-Reduces redness.
-Very cheap.
-Leaves skin feeling soft.

Cons:

-Does not foam up (This is not really a con, but many reviewers on here seem to complain about it but I'll explain.)

Cetaphil is hands down the best cleanser out there. 99% of dermatoligists I've gone to have endorsed this product and for good reason, it's simply brilliant for your skin. There are far to many products on the market today packed with chemicals that are terrible for your skin even though the damage may not be immediatly noticeable. These chemicals cause uneeded damage to your skin and not to mention irritation. These factors are a nightmare espicially when dealing with acne and are already applying chemicals to your face to deal with the acne e.g Benzoyl Peroxide, Salicylic acid etc, a cleanser should as the name states simply cleanse the skin anything more (such as Salicylic acid cleansers) disrupts the healing process of your skin which it needs so much more when you're applying harsh chemicals like Benzoyl Peroxide. This cleanser has also significantly reduced redness and irritation, most cleansers I've used only ever cause it. Cetaphil is also extremely cheap I purchased a pack of two 20oz bottles of the cleanser! (That's roughly 1 Litre worth of cleanser) for only £20!!! The great thing about Cetaphil is because it doesn't irritate but actually soothes it aids in removing acne, and I have never broken out from Cetaphil, I've gone days without Benzoyl Peroxide and sometimes Cetaphil has been all I've required to keep things under control. One thing that a lot of users of the product have been complaining about is the fact the Cetaphil Cleanser does not form up, or they 'feel' like it is not washing all the dirt off there face. These two issues are linked, Cetaphil doesn't foam for good reason mainly due to the fact the ingredient that causes cleansers to foam up is in fact irritating, it is mainly the lack of the cleanser foaming up that people immediatly assume it is not removing dirt (which was my first impression) however this is not the case. My skin has never this clean and soft with any other c
