Pros:

leaves skin clean and soft. it's very gentle. takes off makeup. smells nice.

Cons:

it doesn't clear up acne, but it most definitely does not make it worse.

It's a nice basic cleanser. I personally like it better than Cetaphil, because It's more gentle. I use it every morning and night followed by Olay Complete All Day Moisturizer. As a result, my skin is perfectly smooth and soft. I believe that the less ingredients a product has, the better. I've been using the Purpose Gentle Cleansing Wash for a few months and it keeps my skin clean and soft. My brother uses it as well, and he says that it's the only cleanser that does not irritate his sensitive skin.

I switched to this product because Dan's cleanser dries out my face a lot!

Pros:

Gentle
Not overly drying
Works well with acne medication
Affordable

Cons:

None, really

This is a great face wash to use while you're on an acne medication. Chances are, it won't react with any of the ingredients in your acne medication, and it won't dry out your skin.

Pros:

This cleanser is very gentle, especially to sensitive skin. I tried other cleansers that claim to clear breakouts and redness but they only make it worse. I always come back to this!! It gets rid of the grease without overcleansing.

Cons:

Works best the first few times and then starts to not work as well but I still love it!

Definitely buy this cleanser. It is one of the best basic cleansers you can buy for any skin type. It doesn't dry out skin,make it too greasy, or cause more breakouts. My face feels awesome after using it. The price is great for such a great product as well! I highly recommend buying this.

Pros:

very gentle on my sensitive skin, affordable, rinses nicely

it saved my skin. i have had problems for years with too harsh of products that claimed to be for ultra sensitive skin like mine causing break outs. this stuff saved the day. ::))

Pros:

works really well at cleaning your skin, it takes off all makeup, its very gentle, oil free & non-comedogenic.

Cons:

for $7 bucks, the bottle should be bigger!

I hate using the same products over and over again. Sometimes I switch to different cleansers hoping I'll find something better than what I currently use, but I always keep coming back to this. It's the only cleanser that does the job at cleaning my face thoroughly without irritating or drying it out. I also find that when I use it, I break out a lot less than when I use other cleansers. This is my holy grail cleanser, love love love it!

Pros:

THE BOTTLE I cant stand the bottle you cant take it in the shower if water gets in it its ruined. Change the freakin bottle haha.

I was on proactive for about 2 years it made my skin feel perfect i didnt really have that bad skin to begin with just some break outs that i wanted to control. Proactive worked.Clear beautiful skin. Then one day it just stopped working and not only that but made my skin so flaky and dry but also Break outs even got cysts Eh it sucked I couldnt figure out why this was happening!My skin was WAY WORSE then ever!i read on message boards its common for proactive to do that.i went on to try so many products like muradEven the sensitive skin line hurt my face.my skin was oily and dry at the same time.I didnt know what to do I was tired of spending money on things that didnt work So i FINALLY tried purpose IT WORKED i couldnt believe it! My skin is softer I have to use a moisturizer cus even the gentle as water isnt gentle enough for me! Get a good moisturiser and i also use persa-gel on spots. My skin is way better! Clear 75% of the time A huge improvement! TRY IT! its only 6 dollars!

Pros:

Fantastic cleanser! This is the best cleanser I have ever used. Affordable, nice consistency, pleasant smell, foams nicely, removes makeup, doesn't dry skin or irritate acne.

Cons:

None.

I have tried many cleansers, both gentle and not so gentle, including Cetaphil (hated the scent/consistency and it still dried my face out and actually seemed to slightly worsen acne), Clinique (too drying/stripping), Aveeno (too drying/irritating), Neutrogena (too drying) and Proactiv (which didn't dry me out but seemed to irritate inflamed skin). I recently switched to Purpose and my skin is very happy! This cleanser is the best one I have ever used. It cleans well but doesn't dry my skin out. I will probably use this stuff for the rest of my life. I wish I had tried it sooner. Very good to use while on topical acne medications (like I am). Highly recommendeded.

Pros:

this is such a wonderful cleanser and does not over dry if you use the moisturizer and really removes make-up

Cons:

It is hard to travel with if you do not buy the bar instead of the pump for travel

I would recommend this product to anyone! There are 4 ladies in our family and we love this product and will never change. So, long Estee lauder and clinique
