Pros:

- cheap
- doesn't dry out skin
- refreshing smell

Cons:

- packaging isn't the greatest, can leak like past reviewers have said

I buy the large bottle at Ulta because I love it so much and it's more cost effective. I have been using this cleanser on and off since high school (5-6 years) and it works great on my sensitive skin. In the past I have been on other topical medications and this is the only cleanser that doesn't dry out my skin.

Pros:

Gentle,refreshing,light

Cons:

I love this product, I have been using it for about a week now and it has cleared my skin almost completely. After trying acne medications and creams, I decided just to go back to the basics - a gentle cleanser, Witch Hazel toner and a light oil-free moisturizer. It's worked. Purpose is light, refreshing and gentle on the skin. It lathers decently well and smells just like Baby Shampoo.

Pros:

Very gentle, not really drying, clean smell, affordable

Cons:

Seems to stop working after a while. Maybe it is a little too liquid? But wth, just add a few drops of water when you lather, not a whole glass.

I used this after I went to a dermatologist's office, where it was introduced to me. It is a very good product, and beats even cetaphil or phisoderm. The sad thing is that it stops working after a while; I could never get ride of the little zits that appeared above my eyebrow, extending to the forehead. When they did disappear, some would reappear on the other side of my forehead. Zits are just annoyingly movable like that. Anyway, I recently tried Noxzema (my review isn't up yet, though.. wondering why.. I gave it a bad review, btw), and heck, it's as bad as Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash (ugh demonic cleanser). Soooo after reaearching, I decided to get the bar version of Purpose. It's doing my skin good, but I have this weird belief that things will go wrong if I blab about it yet, so I'm not going to say more, except that it is doing my skin good.

Pros:

Gentle, nice smell, and it does not make me break out.

Cons:

None

I love this cleanser. I have been using this product for the past six years and I have not had a single problem with this. This product leaves my skin feeling clean but not tight or dry. Its really a great cleanser if you have acne prone skin and it also works great in combination with benzoyl peroxide.

Pros:

Cleans my makeup off
Face FEELS clean
Cheap
Hasn't made me break out

Cons:

Nothing!

I LOVE this soap!!! I've been using it for a couple years, and it is one of the few face soaps that made me feel clean/didn't clog my pores (causing me to break-out). This soap does NOT help to clear acne. It's just a gentle soap. But it's AMAZING!

Pros:

Lathers great, leaves my skin soft and refreshed without blemishes, very gentle

Cons:

Packaging allows water to leak in and isn't travel friendly (you have to waste some or wash your face in order to close the pump)

It's a great cleanser! The only drawback is the package :)

Pros:

Love the foam and how fresh it makes your face feel after washing. Doesn't dry your skin out as much as other face washes, so it's good to use year-round. i love how it's hypoallergenic, and dermatologist recommended.

Cons:

I don't think I have any I really love it.

Cleans skin, removes makeup really well, and doesn't dry skin out like crazy!

Pros:

gentle, lathers, makes skin soft, evens texture

Cons:

not strong enough for stubborn pimples, small packaging

I have very sensitive skin, and I have been using Cetaphil for about a year, it seemed to stop working so I switched to Purpose. I am extremely happy with the results, my skin is very soft, and I have gotten 1 or 2 pimples in the past couple of weeks. I use Walgreens Natures Finest AHA face cream, and that has helped a great deal as well. I highly recommend this regimen if you have sensitive yet acne prone skin.

Pros:

Extremely gentle, pump bottle makes it easy to use in the shower.

Cons:

none yet.

Gentle on my sensitive, blemish-prone skin. I do need to moisturize after using, my skin tends to dry out after cleansing. Removes all my makeup!

Pros:

-Effective
-Unclogs pores
-Takes make up off

Cons:

This has completely replaced my old Cetaphil. I have extremely sensitive skin and I am irritated by most cleansers out there..... I found out that this cleanser leaves me feeling more moisturized, and I no longer have that tight feeling after cleasing! :) Also, it instantly takes off my make up and clears out pores (unlike Cetaphil, which left me with clogged pores:( ) I love Purpose :)
