Pros:

gentle, no smelly frafgrance, perfect!

Cons:

None so far

Well....I've been waiting around till I actually put my review on becaus ei wanted to try this cleanser for at least a week and now it's been almost 2 so I can give my review. This cleanser is the best...I would really reccommend it- despite the fact that some people say it dried their skin it did/t dry mines especially since i tend to have really oily skin so i did notice my skin wa sless oily. As for the breakouts.....I can happily say that I haven't had any new blemishes/breakouts since i started using the product which is just amazing for me considering i always get like 1 or 2 per week. I've been using this cleanser with the proactive lotion (I had run out of the proactive cleanser and decided to try purpose) but when I run out of the proactive lotion I'll have to find a replacement. maybe even Dan's own bp gel/cream who knows. But this cleanser is just like a magic potion 4 my face.....i get smooth skin with a fresh and clean feeling and no new blemishes since I started Purpose!

Pros:

*The pump on the bottle leaks
*Though getting use to the consistancy of the cleanser...but it's ok.

Cons:

*It's sensative skin friendly ++
*Doesn't over dry skin
*No irritation afterwards
*Drying up break outs =] yay!!
*Only a few new pimples that are currently almost dried up
*Smells nice...like my babys body wash..

I've been using this product for about a week. I really like it because it doesn't irritate my super sensative skin. I'm a brunette with pale skin, so anything I do to my skin, if the product irritates it, you can notice right away. I've tried to using products that have benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid in them and they just seem to make the problem worse. It was bad cause I would compare the skin from my neck to my face and the skin on my face would be a noticable red/pink. So embarrasing!! In fact, I started using Proactiv just to clear up a little acne problem and it just took my acne from very light to moderately severe. I regret ever using it or anything that had BP or SA in them for that matter. So now, I've determined that I just have sensative skin and it's just an issue I'm gonna have to deal with. But bottom line, this product makes my skin feel really nice. I'm also using it with the Purpose Moisturizer with SPF 15. That's a water-based moisturizer and so it hasn't cause any new break outs either. Which is nice since I have really oily skin that tends to break out in like a day. But I've even used my mineral foundation on top of it and it look nice. I'll update in another week to review on how it's going. Usually, I don't stick with anything that I can see isn't doing any good to my skin. Hense the result of using the "Proactiv" (I did use Proactiv for 6 weeks like instructed) but I am going to continue with Purpose. I'll update sooner if anything changes with my skin.

Pros:

Lathers well.

Cons:

I wasn't crazy about the smell, and since my bottle stayed in the shower it filled with water. I think the packaging is the biggest drawback.

This turned my few large, red pimples into scores of tiny bumps under the skin. Which is worse? It wasn't that great for me.

Pros:

Cleanses well
Smells nice
Gentle

Cons:

A little drying

Overall is is a great cleanser. Gets the job done and leaves skin feeling clean, but also a little bit dry and tight. Use lots of moisturizer and you are good to go. Best cleanser I have ever used, and I've tried a ton!

Pros:

Gentle

Cons:

Dries skin, seems to leave residue

I got this a few years ago and it seemed like a wonder-treatment, but lately it seems to have lost its effectiveness. I think it leaves residue on my skin, because when I use other cleansers, my skin looks brighter. I still use it, and I like how gentle it is. It doesn't seem to provoke breakouts, although it doesn't prevent them either. This is a great cleanser to combine with other treatments, as it is a simple, gentle formula.
