Pros:

gently cleanses skin without over drying. smells amazing! has very few ingredients. lathers very well. cheap~ i bought the 6 oz. bar for $3.99! i only use it once a day, in the morning and i can tell that this is going to last me for an eternity!

Cons:

none.

i would definetly recommend this to anyone who wants a gentle cleanser, sensitive skin or not. i think that it clears up acne because it is so gentle and just cleanses and soothes your skin instead of making it react with crazy chemicals.

Pros:

Cheap, works great, long lasting bottle/or bar.

Cons:

Can be a little drying, but can be remedied by using Purpose moisturizer afterwards.

After trying everything on the drug store shelf wih worsening results nearly eveytime i finally took a trip to the dermatologist. She recommended Purpose cleanser and moisturizer and it has dramatically improved my skins texture and appearance.

Pros:

Works.

Cons:

I wish it was cheaper

This has been my facial soap of choice for the past 4 years after learning about it here. I'm a little lazy and I'm rough on my skin when doing the reg, but I'm still clear overall. This soap rocks!

Pros:

Large for a bar of soap. Ok fragrance. Makes my skin feel squeaky clean.

Cons:

May be a little drying.

I regularly enjoy both this and Basis bar soap.

Pros:

Cheap, prevent breakouts, has a nice fragrance.

Cons:

Hard to find in my country.

Used this for a month. I have to say this cleanser is the one for me. My face has been totally clear for the past 2 weeks, which was a miracle for me. Diet is another factor. So I guess internal and external both work hand-in-hand.

Pros:

Non-irritating, little to no fragrance, cheap and effective.

Cons:

Not for those with dry skin.

After a rather disastrous stint with some of the liquid Cetaphil cleansers that are raved about by Paula Begoun my skin has finally started to return to normal after using Purpose. The Cetaphil for normal to oily has a fragrance in it that was giving me low-grade Rosacea, constant redness, little watery pustules, etc. The regular Cetaphil is so emollient that it is virtuallly worthless for those of us with oily skin. This product IS a little drying so unless you are younger with super oily skin you can probably get by with using it once a day and water the other times. Also, only leave it on your face briefly and rinse off with cool water. The only other products that compare arer Cetaphil Bar Cleanser (for those with drier skin) or Aveenobar Cleanser.

Pros:

Best soap for SENSITIVE SKIN/ ACNE. Very Cheap. Works Great!

Cons:

None

I tried EVERYTHING for my ACNE. Paid top dollar for skin products/prescriptions.Used Dermalogica, Clinique, etc. This is the only thing that clears and maintains healthy skin. I suggest using the Purpose Moisturizer with it. They just came out with a Redness Reducing moisturizer. It's a little more expensive ($14) but is amazing.
