Pros:

dries up the zit overnight

Cons:

left 2 horrid brown marks on my face

read about it and thought i must try this as nothing seems to work for me.. i minced some garlic and applied it over my zits.. attributed the burning sensation to the garlic working on the zits and left it on.. went to wash my face after 15mins.. imagine my shock and dismay when i saw a huge brown burn mark on my forehead and cheek! the first layer peeled off in a few days but the mark is till there.. its been 2 months.. im thinking of trying mederma to make it go away.

Don't do it! Left dark, brown, scab-like raised burns on my face. Much worse than a pimple/acne scar.

Pros:

-all natural, possibly organic
-cheap, eaily attainable
-works quickly -increases your feeling of responsibiliy, as you prepared your own remedy

Cons:

-Burns like lye! (Ie remember Denzel Washington dunking his head in toilet in Malcolm X?)
-uncertainty of whether it will damage your face

Try it! Wait till weekend. My First time was yesterday-- I just put about ten cloves in a sandwich bag and crushed them with a hammer. Stored it in the refrigerater, and it's still potent. After 15 minutes, I washed my face with organic soap. Surprisingly I noticed shrinking of pimple(s) immediately. There were little islands of dry shriveled skin around my pimples. The redness disappeared quickly; my skin reassumed its copper tone. Then I put shea butter on. Right now I've had it on for about an hour and will remove it soon. The burning subsided after about thirty minutes.

Pros:

None

Cons:

Burnt my skin off
Too harsh

Tried once and it totally burnt my skin off, leaving pink flesh behind that looked like I had some terrible disease and took rather long to heal. If you really want to, dab with a Q-tip only on the pimple itself.

Pros:

Fast

Cons:

Smells.

The first time I did this, it worked really well it srunk my zit really quickly. But when I did it again it burnt my face, I think it was because I left it on too long. It should be fine just don't rub it into your face like I did. I'm also light skin so thats probably why burnt me. Just be careful.

Pros:

The conclusion I have made from above discussions is 1. The fresh garlic juice made from 2-3 pills of garlic or the one drawn from the capsule with the help of injection needle & sufficiently diluted must be used for not more than 5 minutes.

Cons:

I think the solid content of garlic may have some ingredients which are causing problems & should be avoided.

Use garlic juice & spot mark on pimples-leave it for 5 minutes-wash for an effective results.
