Pros:

Reduced the amount of pimples on face.

Cons:

Burns for about a minute or two and a little smelly.

I've tried everything possible, from face creams/soaps/antibiotics/facials etc. After first use i saw and felt the difference.

Pros:

Yes! use it. It practically goes away over night. Rub it on your whole face if you want to!

Cons:

Your mom might get mad at you for using all her garlic from the pantry. And the smell is not that bad because you get used to it and it goes away pretty soon.

The best thing in the world, forget proactive and all that other unnatural junk. this is the best way to get rid of acne and its 100% natural.

It works
I wish I knew back in my teens what I know now. Raw garlic combined with removing dairy products and excess sugar will dramatically reduce acne. It takes about two weeks to notice a difference however. Firstly avoid all dairy and reduce sugar. (These mess with hormones and cause insulin spikes which also mess with hormones). With the garlic, buy fresh bulbs and consume more to start with. Before meals peel one or two cloves of garlic and chop the peeled clove into small pieces. Gather the pieces in your hand and drink down with water. After a few days reduce the amount. Eventually, after a week or so just peel one clove of garlic, chop into tiny pieces and drink down. It definitely works. You also notice the difference when you stop taking the garlic. Also, wash your face no more than twice a day with a gentle glycerin soap. The skin needs to be lubricated to allow solidified sebum to escape from the pores. Use cold water.

GARLIC DOES WORK. By applying the juice of one crushed garlic clove for two nights straight my acne had reduce and my skin had cleared up very nicely, when it was applied yes, it sting and smell, i kept it on for about 5 mins or more then wash it off. i have read some of the horrific stories about garlic being applied to the face, but my opinion to that is, garlic does wonders for the dark complexion (brown, black)most of the horrific stories came from light complexion individuals, maybe your skin is too sensitive for such a harsh herb or try it internal not external.

Pros:

* quite easy to use so long as you have something to blend it with
* works best if freshly blended
* massage onto cyst or pimple, not all over face

Cons:

* I'm dark-complected, and the first couple of times a tried it burned my skin
* use hydrocortisone on the burned or irritated area as it assists in the healing and peeling process (this technique I borrowed from my esthetician)

I've found that blending one clove into a paste works best. I add in a little sesame oil to get it going. Leave on until the burning stops. Then rinse with warm water, or very gently wipe with a hot towel. Now if anyone knows how to get rid of acne scars, please do share...
