Pros:

1~ it makes your face very very smooth
2~ it is good for not sensative skin (like mine)
3~ it doesn't hurt when you scrub (alot of scrubs do)
4~ it smells absolutely amazing!
5~ its much better then any expensive product like e.g Proactive and stuff like that and as i said before it does help with acne a little bit
5~ it doesnt dry out your face at all!
6~ my face glows afterwards!

Cons:

i only have one and that is... i dont recommend this for people that have very sensative because of the scrubs sandy like texture it might just be a bit too harsh!

the bottom line is that this is a amazing amazing scrub and i cant live without it!

Pros:

-Leaves skin soft and smooth
-Diminishes appearance of pores
-Helps combat breakouts

Cons:

-Is rough on your skin, but it IS an exfoliant, so...
-My skin started breaking out again when I stopped using it as frequently.

I have oily/sensitive skin and a tendency to react really badly to BP. For anyone out there who is similar in any fashion, I would definitely recommend St. Ives Apricot Scrub because it smells AWESOME and gets the job done. I always apply a light moisturizer after though, because I lived in the Southwest when I first started using it and moisturizer is not an option there, it is a necessity, so I can't say whether or not it is too drying. Seems great as long as you moisturize!

Pros:

My skin felt so soft and clean. It has cleared up my moderate acne.

Cons:

It could make your skin dry if you have sensitive skin.

I have tried products such as ProActiv and Murad, but nothing has given me the results that using Apricot Scrub has. You have to make sure to to moisturize (preferably with oil free moisturizer). My face has cleared up. My best friend has also used apricot scrub with the same results. It is a miracle. I use it 2 times a day- morning and night. I am 20 years old and this is the FIRST thing that has actually worked for my skin.

not so good
This product is too abrasive for me. I use it on my body and find that the exfoliating beads are too large in size. They are effective but also irritating and too harsh

Forever Young Plays in the Distance
Honestly, I don't use this product now but I wish I did. Because I used it for literally 10 years and its like a safety blanket for me & reminds me of everything good in the world & my youth. I mean obviously I don't really wish I did because I would use it if I wanted to but what i'm trying to say is that I GENUINELY think this is one of the best products you can buy at CVS for your skin. Its not supposed to be an everyday thing especially if you have sensitive/acne-prone skin. Essentially, it's not going to heal your acne that is for sure... However, used every so often, maybe once a week as an exfoliant is truly wonderful & I think essential to a preventative routine. I don't use it now because I currently use a very minimal and slightly organic routine BUT I would genuinely recommend this product to anyone who didn't have the Sadness form Inside Out of sensitive skin. HOTTAKE: amazing drugstore exfoliant, should be a staple of anyones #shelfie, however ultimately, I don't really believe its super effective for healing acne or acne scarring.

Pros:

fresh feeling
give a really good clean

Cons:

may hurt a bit in the first scrubs

the bottom line is that this is an amazing product. a friend of mine with severe acne like me recommended it to me when his face was CLEAN. i have been using for 6 straight months since i can't go see my dermatologist anymore. my acne is 70% gone, which is a lot if you have it bad. i use it 3 times a day because i sweat a lot and i have really oily skin. my skin has never dried and always feels good. it definitely makes a difference and i highly recommend it!

Pros:

-exfoliates well

Cons:

-made acne worse
-worsened redness

I used this stuff some when I was about 13 and I didn't have any problems with it. It was a nice addition to my daily regimen. As I moved through different products trying to cure my acne, I dropped it. When I was 17, my acne went from somewhere between light and moderate to moderately severe and it spread from my T-zone to all over my face. Nothing's worked since. My first year at college, however, I went back to this stuff to cut costs (I think it may have been a generic brand though) and my acne got at least 40% worse on it. I don't know why it was fine at 13 and terrible at 18, but do be careful with this stuff. Other factors that might be relevant: I had just stopped using ProActiv because of the obscene cost, and I used this product every day. Perhaps a less frequent use would've given better results, but I'm not going to take the chance.

Pros:

-not too rough
-smells like tangerines!
-feels nice

Cons:

none!

i love this stuff! i've been using it for a few weeks now, and my skin is soo smooth! i use it in the shower about 3-4 times a week. i have been using dan's regimen for so long and i'm acne free except for the occasional pimple, and this is just great for exfoliation. and if you have a minor breakout, dont be afraid! this wont hurt or irritate you. just be gentle, i find that it works great with a bit of acne or none at all. bottom line, this makes our skin sooo smooth and soft! i love it! i will definitely repurchase and stock up!
