It damaged my pores
This does exfoliate well, and leaves skin smooth. However, after using i started to get indented scars and one day i think i scrubbed too hard (my own fault) and my face got a tear and began bleeding. The little apricot things are very harsh and it got stuck in my pores and created tiny clogged pores. I now use the old bottle on my body because i dont want to waste it, and it seems to do well with thick skin, however this also broke out my back.

Pros:

-Makes your skin very smooth and soft
-Smells good
-Fights blackheads and whiteheads
-Doesn't feel rough putting it on like some scrubs
-It's refreshing

Cons:

-Can dry out skin or get sporatic breakouts if used more than once a week

I think this scrub is great to use. It smells great, and wakes me up in the morning. This is the kind of scrub you want to use if you don't want it to scratch your skin badly as you're putting it on. The only thing is to not use it more than once a week. Otherwise, it can be quite drying, and could create breakouts. This is especially for people with very sensitive skin. Otherwise, it's a great product for removing lots of blackheads and whiteheads, and to have nice smelling, soft skin. I highly recommend this St. Ives Apricot Scrub.

Pros:

Leave skin looking at feeling great afterwards.

Cons:

May cause break outs.
Harsh, sandy.

My acne is not horrible, but I have quite sensitive, relatively oily skin. I tend to get break outs on my chin. I really do not recommend getting the drug store brand. I tried it a few years ago found it made my acne infinitely worse and was very harsh. For some reason, the original St. Ive's brand is much better. I would suggest using it as infrequently as possibly, only when necessary (a couple of times a week at most). I would definitely recommend giving it a try if you have no/mild acne and non-sensitive skin. It'll make your face almost glow, and look and feel so much smoother. However, as I mentioned, it's almost sandy and can be too hard on your skin and cause break outs.

Pros:

-Cleans deep into pores to remove dirt and oils
- Gets rid of Blackheads and WhiteHeads
- Does not overdry skin
- Makes pores appear smaller
- Good Smell

Cons:

- None

I have been using this product for over a year now, on a daily babis. Before using this product, my breakouts were quite severe and could not be covered. After about a week my skin looked clearer and radiant. Many say that it overdrys , but i dont find it does, and you should be using a moisturizer anyways. Also many say that it should be used only once a week but by apllying a light amount in the shower and gently (very gently) massaging it on your face it can be used daily. BOTTOM LINE---its an affordable great scrub

Pros:

- smells good
-natural extracts
- good for skin
-reduces scars
-helps acne
- clears skin
-cheap

Cons:

....umm well.... ....I don't have any

I bought a 300ml jar of this scrub after I tried the 99 cent samples. Within three days my acne was clearing up!! I couldn't believe a cheap face scrub would clear my acne!!! I use the scrub everynight..... ( yes I know your not supposed to use a scrub this often, but this really help my skin and my acne). 1)I rise my face with hot water;no soap 2) I pat dry my face a little because I don't want too much water. 3) I massage the scrub on my face for 1-2 min 4) rise off with hot water ... Note in the morning I close my pores with cold water.at night I keep my pores open so my moisturizer can sink into my skin better I have been using this for over a year and I'm really impressed... In total I only remeber having 6 pimples!!! My acne serverity of my acne went to moderate to very light (5.50 for a 300ml jar in Canada) I like to use this often for my rough oily skin! Just start out slow and your face should be beautiful !!!!!

Pros:

* Leaves your face oil free and smooth to touch
* Exfoliates away any dead skin cells
* Smells WONDERFUL!
* Keeps acne down when used twice a week!
* Diminishes blackheads & whiteheads
* You will GLOW!
* CHEAP!

Cons:

* Dry your face out if you use it for a long time/ everyday so don't do that

It works after a long period of time. I've been using it for a month but I seem to see scars and pimples disappear! In the shower I apply it to my whole body, chest, back and face. I let it sit while I wash my hair and then rise my whole self afterwards. It becomes smooth to the touch and oil-free! For once my body and face feel refreshed and not that I have infested acne all over them. Mind you, I don't think it will actually get rid of all my acne but it helps me feel clean without harsh chemicals and the 2% salicylic is a nice touch! I would REALLY recommend getting your hands on this product.

This is a great product my sister put me onto it and I have only been using it for about a week. I've tried other products for blemishes and blackheads..I use it as a regular face wash morning and night.This is probably the best one for it and for slight acne..I have no complaints

so good
This stuff is very good! Nice facial exfoliating, though if my combination skin is feeling particularly dry or sensitive, I either do not use this or make an effort to use it gently on my cheeks, as this can be a little harsh if the skin on my cheeks is being moody. I would never use this on my face more than once a week. And this also works soo good on the rest of my body! Great scrub, inexpensive and easily available at drugstores.

Pros:

You can literally feel the scrub clean your skin. The smell is to die for and the result is simply flawless.

Cons:

The only con I could think of is trying to wash the product off your face and trying to NOT get it in your hair.

This product is worth every penny! It's affordable and the results are great. I had blemishes on my cheeks for as long as I can remember (hereditary) and since I've used St. Ives Apricot Scrub they are in no sight :)
