Pros:

Helps with acne on my face, and chronic eczema on my legs. Also helps a little with dry eyes.

Cons:

Can't handle the oil, but the capsule work just fine.

It seems to help with all my skin problems, and improves overall skin appearance. I would recommend this to everyone. I have many friends who have tried it and all have seen positive results, no complaints.

Pros:

Many! I have many skin issues, and all my scars and bruises healed up fairly quickly after I started taking flax oil.

Cons:

The taste is bad, but I've learned to slide the oil off the spoon into the back of my mouth so that I don't have to taste much of it.

Taking flax oil alone isn't enough. I take raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar (Bragg's) with it. This combo has worked wonders! My skin clears up so much quicker and I hardly break out much anymore! I also have more energy. I made sure to use organic flax oil in the brown bottles.

i took it in capsule form. within 2 days my skin had a radiant glow and i could see some scars/pits in my skin looking evend out. less oily skin. this is really good, and i dont know why people would complain about it, unless their body is allegic to an indgredient in them. i took the omega organic flaxseed oil in the black capsules.but make sure u get the more expsensive stuff. im not that sure about those cheap supermarket brands..FLAXSEED OIL CAPS! REALLY GOOD STUFF GUYS! GET IT! ... AND U FEEL HAPPIER! WANNA BE LESS DEPRESSED AND HAVE GLOWING SKIN? - GET IT!

Pros:

I have helped my husband who has diabetes by making this and eating it with him. Works great to lower his sugar but I look ugly

Cons:

I am so broken out that I don't know what to do. I just started thinking what is different??? THE FLAX!!!!!!

I think I will stop eating it with him. Or maybe cut out all other types of oil for a week and see if it is the mix that is causing the break outs.

Its nature's wonderful gift for health and beauty, but since everyone is different it may show different result.

Pros:

Healthy glow... bowels very healthy!

Cons:

Serious breakout first few days of eating seeds.

I have been eating the seeds for about 2 weeks now and am starting to see some good results. I feel healthier and more energetic too! However, be warned that you may have more spots before it gets better- I had a week of nursing my new 'friends' but thought that it is just my body getting used to the new treatment and hoped that it would improve... which it did! Hallelujah... finally something that works from the inside. Have a go- but remember you may have to eat the seeds for at least a few weeks before seeing good results.

Pros:

Reduced my dry-eye symptoms (I wear contact lenses)

Cons:

Gave me really bad skin

My friend recommended this product to me because I wear contact lenses and find that towards the end of the day, my eyes become dry and tired. I took two capsules a day for 2 weeks. Although I did notice that my eyes felt less irritable, I was also getting really big, painful spots, deep purple and 'cystic'. My skin also felt greasier and I looked awful! It took me a while to realise that the spots began the day I started taking the capsules. I've since stopped taking this product and although I am still seeing new spots, they are smaller and less severe. Never again!

Pros:

Easy (mix 2Tbls with orange juice each morning). Cheap! I buy mine pre-ground in the baking aisle of my local Whole Foods--a large bag is $3-4. Also promotes bowel regularity and cardiac health.

Cons:

I think the lignans in the flaxseed oil may have dysregulated my menstrual cycle one month (longer menstruation than usual), but have not had a repeat occurrence.

Worth a try for acne and definitely worth using for its cardiovascular benefits (lower blood pressure, etc.).

Pros:

Gets rid of whiteheads and good for health. Has Omega 3,6 and 9.

Cons:

It doesn't taste like chocolate.

Both the capsules and the milled seeds work. You just have to find out how much to eat for it to improve your skin. Milled seeds are more potent than the oil/capsules. I've suffered chronic whiteheads on my cheeks and forehead for years, rarely they would turn into pimples. Over the years I've changed my diet and eat salad everyday, exercise everyday, take a multi-vitamin and drink plenty of water. I've tried benzoyl peroxide, salicyclic acid, hydrogen peroxide, scrubs, peels and nothing helped the whiteheads. So I did some research and found out about essential fatty acids, oleic and linoleic acids and how they affect whiteheads. I went with flaxseed because it has a high concentration of Omega 3, 6, 9. After 3 days of taking 2 flaxseed oil capsules a day to my diet, I noticed that no new whiteheads formed. I upped the dosage to 2 capsules and a tablespoon of the milled seed per day and now the older bumps are going away faster. Try it, you've everything to
