Pros:

Have only been taking it 3 days.

I have just recently bought the product and I have been taking the capsule form. I take 4 capsules daily, hoping to see some results soon! Also, I have purchased some Tea Tree Oil. I read that it heal's blemishes on the skin, however, don't put it on irritated skin. I am going to keep taking the flax oil and believing in faith that my acne heals!

Pros:

Good for your general health.

Cons:

Tastes bad.

I have been taking this for about two weeks mainly for psoriasis of the scalp. The amount varies everyday, sometimes I take 4 pills a day, sometimes just 1. The directions say to take 6 huge pills a day, and I just can't stomach that. What have I noticed? Well, nothing. Maybe because I'm not taking enough, but neither my psoriasis or my skin has been greatly helped by this product. I get better results (healing wise) from 500IUD of vitamin E at bedtime, to tell you the truth. I have never really found any supplement that prevents acne, although I have heard good things about high doses of vitamin A (but then you're essentially taking a poor form of accutane, and this is very dangerous without medical supervision.)

Pros:

Although it did not clear up my skin completely (Ive only been taking it a week), it DEFINATELY showed some results! I would have to agree with a lot that my skin is about 80% clearer.

Cons:

I have the oil and need to mix it with yogurt or I cannot take it. I tried just drinking it and gagged :/ . The yogurt works well with me.

I have had problems with my skin for as long as I can remember. My skin has lots of little bumps and I started breaking out on my neck and so I figured Id give flaxseed oil a try. DEFINATELY worth it! It has evened out my skin and there are no more bumps on my neck and as a woman, I dont have to wear powder cover up anymore!!! If you are skeptical, please just try it, it will work!

Pros:

It really helped to balance out the oil production in my skin. I have noticed great improvements in my skin since I started taking it.

Cons:

The taste is a little hard to get used to, but I take 2 Tbsp. of the highest lignan oil daily and chase it with a drink.

I am an esthetician in a medspa in chicago and I began using flax for it's health benefits. When I started noticing improvements in my skin I started having some of my client use it and I continue to see great results and improvements in their skin.

Pros:

obvious glow in the skin and hair.

Cons:

isn't enough to cure acne alone

i've seen my skin glow inside out. but flaxseed alone won't cure your acne but certainly help with combined therapy (other acne products)

Cons:

does not make anything better or worse with my acne

Pros:

saw a reduction in acne by taking 2 tbsp per

Cons:

Flax works better for females than males. Females bodies can more efficiently convert the ALA in flax to EPA and DHA. Males may have better results using fish oil instead.

Definitely helped my moderate acne but didn't get me completely clear.

Pros:

easy to take and you don't have to cake your face in creams or take a bunch of Rx pills

Cons:

The taste was a little difficult to get used to, but now I don't mind it at all. I got the lemon flavored from Spectrum.

It really works. Shocking for me since I'm 21 and have been going to dermatologists since I was 11. I've been prescribed everything from differin gel, retin-A, antibiotics and a Dr. even suggested accutane! I used it for about a week before I went to go get a hair cut and the hairdresser and I started talking about acne. She asked me "What are you using for your skin because it looks like it's healing?" This is the first time I had ever met the women and I was elated that my skin was actually making progress and it was noticable! I'm still using it every day. I try to space it out to a teaspoon every couple of hours (3 times a day). I still do get acne, but it's not the enormous cysts that I used to get. They only pop up after wearing makeup for too long or forgetting to take the flax seed oil consistently. I still have to stick to a routine (as i did with clearasil and neutrogena) but I'd rather it be a healthy one, rather than applying chemicals to my skin every

Pros:

At first, seemed to help reduce inflamation of pimples (supposed to have anti-inflammatory properties). Affordable, natural, and great for your body in many ways and for health in general.

Cons:

Not sure to what degree this works in the "long run". Hard to determine what the right dosage is that works best.

Recommend it for general health and it did seem to help reduce the pimples when I first started using it. Will keep using it anyway most likely. USAGE: I take 3-4 pills of it daily, one or two with each meal. Only time will tell if it works for you "in the long run".
