Pros:

It clears up skin, tightens pores, lightens dark spots, smoothens skin.

Cons:

The peeling stage will make you feel very self-conscious.

I apply #2 every night and apply moisturizer afterwards. (Godiva Licowhite works well here, and I also dab some unscented castor oil around my eyes before bedtime, very effective). Just don't over use it though. After every 2 months usage, I take breaks and use a non-hydroquinone based tretinoin cream, then resume with Maxipeel when I feel I need it again. I swear Maxipeel works, and I recommended this even to my friends and they love it too!

Pros:

Very effective in fighting acne. Expect redness and minor swelling on the first 3 days following the initial application and peeling will follow on the 4th day. Peels ugly dark acne marks! Just be sure to apply moisturizer after complete peeling!

Cons:

Be ready to hide! Redness and minor swelling on the first 3-4 days upon initial application.

Just be sure to apply moisturizer after complete peeling! Be happy to see a finer skin and less visible pores after it peels! :-)

Pros:

Works fast. Peels your face within the 2nd application. Gets rid of dark spots from acne and dries out fresh acne. Whiteheads literally come out of your face. No stinging if it is applied gently in an upwards and dabbing motion to your face.

Cons:

Turns your skin colour darker when being used maybe because of the peeling agent.

The skin does get lighter and softer afterwards. SPF 30 matte moisturizer is great with this (especially when you plan to wear make-up) and a non-alcoholic toner is great after washing the face to get rid of the peels. I use Nivea Visage b/c it's non-alcoholic therefore no stinging feeling. It hydrates the face from all the peeling. Good results if used properly.

Pros:

Works impressively on dark spots & acne marks. To avoid the inconvenience of redness & peeling, just use it as a spot treatment then cover with a sunblock lotion. Use sunblock wherever you are (both indoors & outdoors).

Cons:

None so far.

I would strongly recommend this product for spot treatment. I hope it will be available in more stores here in the US.

How to make it work for you
I have light skin tone with moderate to severe acne. I am using MaxiPeel Cream #3. Skip the other two and just do spot treatment for light acne. I recommend that you wash your face with Dr. Kaufmann Sulfur Zinc Oxide soap and leave it on for about 2~3 min. It dries up the pimples/acne faster. Pat dry with a face towel dedicated foe your face only. Then cleanse with a cleanser of your choice (I use Ovale Anti-Acne Facial Lotion, so far so good as it cleans well). Apply Maxipeel #3 cream at night only. Be more generous on bigger acnes. Use sunscreen during daytime (I use iWhite Korea's whitening cream makeup base with spf15). Do avoid using heavy makeup especially during hot weather while your face isn't cleared. Avoid sun exposure. Wash your face with the sulfur soap twice or thrice a day.
