Pros:

Easy to use, less steps than other lines, skin is smoother and pores smaller, skin was clean.

Cons:

Some overdrying if you don't use the moisturizer. The packageing I don't like putting back on the twist lids canisters. I wasnt looking for a miracle fix. Still had to use an extra acne product or use peroxide as a toner during break outs.

Good basic skin care with a little extra for them people that have to have it. I buy the packages which makes it easier. I used it for 3 years then left it to try a couple others, due to excessive breakouts but found out they were due to stress caused hormones, and now have more scars due to taking longer to heal. I'm starting it again as soon as my order arrives.

Pros:

Works well, helps clear skin and improve skin texture

Cons:

smells terrible

So far so good with this product. I don't understand why so many people are saying it burns, I do feel a very very very minor tingling sensation and my face feels a bit tighter but other then that it's all good. I suppose my skin isn't as sensitive as some people, so maybe it's different for everyone. I would recommend giving this product a try if you can find it, even if it doesn't work for you it's cheap so there's not too much of a loss. Just for those who're curious: I have very minor acne at the age of 25, but in the past I had bad acne so I have a good deal of very faded scarring. This product has helped clear up a lot of the non-pitted scars and made the pores on my face much less visible. I can't really say how well this works for active acne, though.

Pros:

Scars are fade, bump free

Cons:

Smell

Who cares about the smell. This works. Its working very well. I use it only on my back. My back has had breakouts for years. Leaving behind black spots. I had cystic bumps on my back as well. Painful as well. Three weeks ago I began putting this on my back. I forget to put it on twice a day sometimes. Guess what? I haven't seen a bump since using it. It just does the job. Why does it help reduce spots? I dont know but it does. One day I will be able to wear a tub or halter top again with pride.

Pros:

Affordable, did not sting too much on my skin and was not oily, rather very hydrating. Have only used it maybe 4 to 6 times now, but see a slight change in acne scars.

Cons:

hard to get, but luckily live near an Ulta store.....

I did not have to use a moisturizer on top. The next day however my skin feels a little bit dry but I put more moisturizer on those areas. Lighter acne scars and smaller pores. I think I have to use it longer to see more change so I will come here in a few weeks and post my comments. Note: normal skin type, with some breakouts around my period.

Pros:

skin is softer, breakouts happen less often and are less severe, wrinkles are less noticeable, great for resistant skin like mine, skin is less oily during the day

Cons:

can sting/burn if you have sensitive skin, due to exfoliating should only be used at night or under strong sunscreen

I love this product! MY skin is 100% better than it was a year ago when I 1st started using it. The large wrinkle across my forehead is almost invisible and my acne has been brought under control. Also has been instrumental in getting rid of red and pink acne scars. Will use as long as its made :)

Pros:

cleared up my skin.

Cons:

burning sensation the first few applications, but then it went away

I have had this bottle for 6 months now and it is barely half empty - lasts a while. I use this in conjuction with the Alpha Hydrox Face wash. I can get it at Ulta - [link removed] also carries it currently. I am continuing to use it. I put it on and let it soak in a while - doesn't feel greasy or anything.

Pros:

cleared up dark acne marks and other hyperpigmentation on my face; affordable; lasting product

Cons:

found only on [link removed]

I started using this product about two weeks ago and I can tell it's working. BP has helped control my mild case of acne but occasional zits cause hyperpigmentation and stays for months! I hated this so I tried the Alpha-Hydroxy to speed pass this process by Dan's rec. I see the dramatic improvement in my dark marks clearing up faster than without this product. I did go thru some mild purging that I think is seasonal more than anything. I didn't have an burning or stinging since my skin has been trained by habitual use of BP. These two products together are a double punch to acne and dark marks. I'm going to dry this lotion for other older hyperpigmented scars on my body.

Pros:

It did a wonderful job on the pebbly-feeling, non-inflammed acne on my cheeks. It has started improving the uniformity of my skin tone (I have quite a few dark spots from inflammed acne.)

Cons:

Stings a little...but it's working. Slight sunburn once in the 2 wks I've been using it (I added sunscreen in AM now)

Since I've started Dan's BP regimen (almost a month now), I've seen steady improvement. My skin doesn't shed old cells very well & so adding the AHA seemed to jump-start the exfoliation process. It worked a miracle on the embedded non-inflammed acne on my cheeks. Now I don't feel compelled to try to dig them out (ouch!). My skin is much smoother...dark spots fading...I'll keep using it indefinitely.

Pros:

Works very well with BP to clear up cysts, blackheads, etc. quicker than BP alone.

Cons:

Stings! Takes getting used to even if you've used the Neutragena lotion with AHA

I've only used this with BP and it definately clears up visible acne faster than BP alone. I use it all over my face with BP at night, and on my worst skin areas with BP during the day. However, it does sting and takes getting used to.
