Pros:

Soft skin.
Good Moisturizer.
Reduces redness.
Lasts really long. I'm still on my first bottle, and I apply 3-4 times a week.
Good moisturizer after TCA peel.

Cons:

Shiny oily face.

It is also supposed to reduce potential scarring from acne, but I can't vouch for it. Paid around $20-30 (not sure about the exact price) for 8 fl oz or 225 ml. Can't wear this stuff when you go out, but I still give this a 5 rating since I don't go out often ;)

Pros:

clears acne from the inside and outside. Heals skin.

Cons:

If use the 100% oil it will be a little oily at first

I'm 37 and have had acne since I was 11. I have had very oily skin. Tried everything from over the counter to presciption. Some things worked as a short term solution. 7 months ago I got on to emu oil products from a friend who used it for various things. I used the one product first on a bad burn and was sold. I got on to the website this product came from and saw a whole line of products. [link removed] For acne they have a facial soap made just for acne. Plus I take the emu oil fatty acid complete internally. At night I use the rejuvination cream since I have damaged skin from ranching and living in high altitude and during the day the "new day" (plus use Neuregena 85 spf sun screen). One day I didnt put on the new day and noticed the dirt was getting into my pores. So this cream acts as a barrier. Diffentally worth the look at the website to try. Oh and my oily skin is gone also and sun spots - bye bye. I'm completely sold on all thier things.

Pros:

effective and No bad reaction to skin

Cons:

small amount is expensive, Takes a while to see noticeable difference

I'm not sure if it fades a way my acne scars yet. I have only been using it for two weeks. However, I haven't had muy usual cystic breakouts. I get the occasional tiny pimple from eating junk but it does work. I use it after I watch with tea tree/shea butter body wash. I use emu oil in the morning or before bed and sometimes swtich it up with 10% benzoyle peroxide which is also a lifesaver. Defitely a great moisturizer after usuing bp.

Pros:

A little goes a long way! Reduces redness and scars, keeps my skin moisturized and looking good while on accutane.

Cons:

No cons, I love it.

I have not broken out from it, some people are concerned because of the texture, but it has antibacterial, inflamatory properties, so do not get discouraged by the fact that it feels oily, it is an oil. Great product.

Pros:

Helps get rid of recent red marks and take down inflammation / swelling. Doesn't cause breakouts.

Cons:

Makes skin look oily while it's on (so I only use it at night). Quite expensive, tho a little bottle lasts forever. Need to shake before use. It's an animal byproduct.

It's not till I started using this again lately that I realised how good it is for recent red marks for acne, also takes down swelling of big bumps under skin that look like they may erupt. Good moisturiser too and natural so avoids all the rubbish ingredients you get in highstreet stuff. The one I use contains emu oil and pure vitamin e oil. Price listed is for a bottle (that lasts more than 8 months when used daily)

Pros:

takes away the reddness
good for scars
makes complexion nice and smooth

Cons:

greasy when putting on
it doesn't make active acne go down fast

I have had a problem with flaky skin - when I wash my face it dries it out and then when using a moistuizer it always seemed like it would break me out so I would try to just put moisturizer on my dry areas. Emu seems to fix this problem. Emu works well as a moisturizer. I decided to try it a little while ago and put it on my acne and different spots. It helps to moisturize my skin without breaking it out. I was surprised that when putting on a scar at night, in the morning the redness went down significantly. Since using it for awhile I have seen less acne.

Pros:

makes my skin soft again after overdrying it with acne medications. seems like it's already decreasing a wrinkle between my eyebrows without aggravating that acne-prone area

Cons:

by-product of meat harvest

i will use it, even though it's a by-product. people eat emu, therefore emu will continue to be harvested for meat and why let any part of the animal go to waste if you can help it, especially when it has such incredible soothing and moisturizing properties. i was afraid to put an oil product on my acne prone skin, but as long as i use it sparingly in the breakout areas, i'm fine. it makes my skin feel really good and look a little younger already. i bought a tiny bottle but it will last a long time. i hear you should be careful about what brand you buy. mine comes from an emu farm in Kalispell, MT. This brand was highly recommended by the young woman in the supplement store who had the most beautiful skin and she said she had acne too, still takes prescription medication for it but uses the oil too.

Pros:

Very moisturizing and rehydrated a dried out face from all the acne products.

Cons:

somewhat greasy if you put to much on

I tried this stuff first because I saw the reviews about getting rid of hyperpigmentation. Although I haven't seen any improvement with my scars it is a great soothing moisturizer. I may just need to use it longer to help with my hyperpigmentation though.
