Pros:

Reduces inflammation, absorbs pretty quickly, leaves skin soft, helps acne redness, DOES NOT clog pores (do your research people!)

Cons:

Texture is oily so use sparingly!

I have VERRRY acne prone skin. I use this product along with a 30% glycolic acid serum daily and I do a home chemical peel (glycolic acid/salicylic acid) weekly and I never break out anymore. I struggled with acne every since I was 12 and finally conquered it at the age of 22. EMU OIL IS DOES NOT CLOG PORES. Use only certified pure emu oil and use only products that does not contain ingredients that will irritate your skin.

Pros:

got rid of acne scars

Cons:

nothing

I used the pure emu oil. I had random bumps show up on my body, on my thighs, breast, and bikini area (from shaving). The bumps flatened out like regular pimples do, and they left a pinkish red scar. I put the emu oil on it, and rubbed it in really good and now there is no scar at all. It was a new fresh scar so maybe thats why. I haven't used it on my old scars long enough to tell but it really works on new scars. They are completely 100% gone!

This stuff is a miracle worker. Discoloration, uneven skin tone, scrapes, burns, dry skin, oily skin, whatever problem you're having, this fixes it. Sadly, I won't be repurchasing because I found out that the oil can't be extracted without harming (killing :(((( ) the bird.

Pros:

Softens skin, clears pimples, removes hyperpigmentation/dark spots; essentially, makes skin look younger and it seems to GLOW!!

Cons:

Can only use it at home (when I'm not going out or applying make-up) as it is somewhat greasy (duh it's an oil!!)

For those of you with oily, acne-prone (for me, I call it my Italian-genes skin) skin, please do not be afraid to try this. I have had problems with pimples, blackheads, whiteheads since I was a child (I am now 29) and I know how easy it is for our skin to get these things with products that leave the skin feeling even a little bit greasy (I've used sooo many products that cause blackheads all over, while others claim the product does not cause breakouts). However, I decided to give Emu oil a shot since I didn't have any big plans to go out over the next few weeks and WOW is all I can say! This stuff, even though my face feels greasy as ever while it's on, erased the pimples I had overnight, made the dry areas under my eyes and around my mouth disappear, and best of all- areas where I have problem dark spots (on which I've tried numerous expensive products) are fading like magic. I am a big time pimple picker and have those deep purple spots and they're almost gone on day 3 of Emu Oil!

I love emu oil so much it has completely healed my skin from old acne marks from when I was breaking out. It keeps my skin more moisturized while using BPO daily. I love it. Want to know more read my blog entry about emu oil [link removed]

Pros:

Softer skin; heals the skin deep better than anything I've seen. Also great for surgery scars and eczema.

Cons:

The worst thing is that it is a bit oily when you first apply, but this goes away as long as you rub in enough and apply sparingly; a little goes a long way (though this really isn't much of a con).

I've been using this for little over a month now and the results are nothing short of amazing. I'm 22 and had dry redness and some superficial brown marks from old acne (marks seem to linger on my skin for like 2 years or so). However, within a week the redness was mostly gone and by week 3 about 60 % of these discoloration's were barely noticeable. Everyone should try this; I've told so many people about this and they all--that's right, every single one of them--said they will not be without this stuff. Now I can't vouch for how this works on recurring acne skin, but it surely does not increase acne in any way. If anything, it replenishes and moisturizing the skin making the skin more healthy and this alone should help acne or at-least make it appear far more manageable. Emu-oil is the best product I've ever used (and I've used lots of them). Buy it and you'll see.

Pros:

heals burns, reduces marks left by acne, moisturizes dry skin, evens out skin tone, goes great under mineral makeup

Cons:

can be a bit oily and I dont fully trust it yet to not cause more acne

I have been using Emu oil on and off for about 3 months now and I love it. It cleared this sun spot I had on my finger in less than a week. It works great on uneven skin tone like that. It hasn't caused me more acne and I'm really prone to acne, however, I don't use it everyday. I have been using it lately because my retin A combined with the dry cold air right now is drying my skin out like I've never experienced before; emu oil is the best moisturizer for that kind of problem I've found. I love the way it looks on my skin - it makes my skin look really healthy when I use it. I definitely use it after I get a micro or laser treatment and it works great as a healing agent. I love emu oil and I don't think it causes more acne, but I'm not confident enough to put in on every night yet.

Pros:

Not pore clogging
Gentle even for sensitive skin
Easily absorbed into skin
Hydrating for dry skin

Cons:

Might take time before seeing the benefits of the oil (give at least two weeks)

I bought mine from ebay from a top rated seller. I didn't have any expectations for this product but bought it anyway since I read so many raves about this product on acne and since it wasn't that expensive. I'm so glad I gave in into the hype. I have really oily T zone and I was skeptical about applying an oil onto my face. This didn't clog my pores and actually made my skin less oily. I have been using this for about two weeks and so far I like what I'm seeing. I heard this does a great job on acne scars as well but I haven't seen too major of an improvement so we will see in another couple of weeks. Definitely try this product it wouldn't hurt!! Since this isn't a cure-all product, don't subsitute this product for your normal acne-treatments. Good luck ppl!

Pros:

Super soft skin, helped reduce inflammation, long lasting effects

Cons:

None

I just started using emu oil, and I am quite pleased! I am 37 years old, and had always had beautiful skin until I had kids.... now I have what they call "adult acne" (!?) I've also noticed that the older I get, the more dry my skin becomes. But with emu oil, I apply it at night ( around 8pm ) and well into the next day ( it's around 1:30pm) my skin feels super soft, and NOT AT ALL oily. And it doesn't aggravate my "adult acne". In fact, they seem to be getting smaller, and less irritated. I also like how it soothes and diminishes the red splotches I get on my face after I take a shower. I realize that this product may not work for everyone, but I am definitely pleased. I buy emu oil that is Triple-Distilled and Molecularly Distilled, so it is less oily, less thick, and not smelly. It is a little more expensive, but well worth it! A small bottle lasts a few months, because a little DOES go a long way!! I wish I had known about this product sooner!! :)
