Pros:

Leaves skin soft, easy and inexpensive, leaves skin feeling cool and refreshed, minimizes acne and other skin problems, just awesome and I am sure there are many more benefits!! This is my first night using it!

Cons:

None so far

Well I have been sick for a while and ever since I've got sicker, my skin on my face started breaking out weirdly, mostly on my forehead and chin. It isn't horrible and people still say i have beautiful skin, but to me it is a problem because I never had bumps or irritation like this before. I was slightly depressed because nothing was working and my dermatologist was constantly giving me prescriptions. After using so many harsh prescription creams and gels that didn't work but temporarily. I found myself browsing the net in search of an answer. I came across this forum right here and I am so happy. I immediately got myself an egg from our refrigerator. I prepared my mask and applied the well stirred egg white to my red, irritated skin that had a few acne marks, with a soft brush. My skin immediately cooled down and I felt this tightening feeling. It felt like all the culprits of my acne and skin problems were being evicted. I let it dry for a while and then I said hmmm I could make a pore strip!!! So I put a thin layer of egg on my nose and covered it with a toilet tissue, then recovered with some more egg yolk lightly. I let that dry and pulled it off slowly.... It worked just like a pore strip you buy in stores, but even better because it didn't feel like someone was pulling ever miniature hair you had off with tweezers at one time. I love it!!! I am glad I started using this and I hope that it can help many more people who suffer from moderate to severe acne and just those who need a good mask. I am sorry I couldn't list more pros and cons but I can only tell you what it did for me this day. I am very impressed. My pet chickens came in handy once again!!! Thank you everyone for the awesome reviews. Excuse my review, it is very late!

Pros:

Instantly skin feels cool and clean, scars somewhat shrink over time, redness fades for a few hours, acne fades as well. In my opinion, the feeling of the egg mask drying on my face is my favorite part; it makes me feel like its working!

Cons:

A while to prepare, and it goes bad after a few days, so every time you prepare it; make sure it's not too much.

I began using this product for months in early 2009. I saw a dramatic change in my acne. By the time the new school year began in September, I stopped using the mask thinking that everything was going to be fine. This was a big mistake because my acne got worse and the scars each and every pimple left behind was a pain! I'm using the mask again hoping that my healthy skin will come back again. This is worth trying because you have nothing to lose, except maybe a dollar?

Pros:

Skin Tightens
Face feels very clean

Cons:

Tight face, might feel a little weird but not very uncomfortable
Skin will probably be dry

I kid you not, this mask definitely worked for me. I have struggled with bouts of acne for many years, in which acne came and went frequently. I was using acne.org's BP and it made my face quite irritated. I could tell the BP was working, but my face just felt horrible. I came across this remedy online and decided to try it out. I put on the egg white mask, took it off, put on the yolk mask, and washed it off. My face felt so amazing. It just felt really, really clean and helped sooth a lot of the irritation caused from other acne medications. I noticed my face felt a bit dry so I put on moisturizer after taking the masks off. This routine, which I have been using a few times a week, has really helped clear up my acne. The results are noticeable (even in just the first week!), and my acne is steadily clearing up. For those of you who struggle with irritated skin, I definitely recommend you try this mask. Don't forget to moisturize after taking the masks off! This mask is seriously amazing and worth trying.

Pros:

Fresh feeling, skin feels tighter, more even toned.

Cons:

Runny

I had pretty bad acne. Not the cystic type either, just tons and tons of clogged pores from what I was told was to.much sebum production. Well after years and years of prescribed treatments, over the counter washes, different makeups and on and on and on. Finally I discovered plain old egg whites and green tea! I make myself a cup of liptons green tea with lemon and ginseng. After steeping the tea bag I open it up and dump it into an egg white and.whisk the two together. I also when i don't have time for the egg mask mess I just rub the tea leaves from the bag all over my face like a scrub. I drink a lot of green tea now and these two [link removed]bined have near eliminated my acne. I thought it was coincidence so I stopped for three weeks and just washed like normal. Sure.enough it all came back! So I highly highly.highly.recommend these steps. I am not kidding its.been YEaRS of experiment with me to finally find this.

Pros:

- Very Easy To Use.
- Affordable.
- Clears Acne If You Use It EVERYDAY(:
- You Can Save The Egg White Part and Use It Again!

Cons:

- I Tried Saving The Egg Yolk For 2 Days; The 3rd Day It Smelled SOOOO BAD!
- Other than that, there are no other cons!

This will clear up your acne in no time (as long as you keep using it). I have struggled with acne since I was 13. I am now 14. Hahahah (BIG difference... NOT). My skin care routine that gave me CLEAR skin before high-school started; and I still use it. Trust me, I was rushing to get clear skin. About 18 days. BTW; I have COMBINATION skin. (Oily in the T-Zone. Dry everywhere else) Morning: - Egg Mask Facial ; because its very gentle, great for in the morning. - Lemon Juice; slather on face and leave it on for 5 minutes unless it burns! - Moisturize with Clean and Clear Dual Action Moisturizer. - Sunscreen face moisturizer (if needed) Night: - Hydroxatone Gentle Milky Cleanser ; very gentle and it does not have acne medication in it. Good thing because im making my skin care as NATURAL as possible. Less chemicals. Less irritation. Less inflammation. - Lemon Juice ; Leave this on because I apply a..... - Honey Mask ; Makes skin very soft. Reduces redness, helps with uneven skin. RINSE after 1-2 hours! - Shea Butter ; I use all natural shea butter and leave it on overnight. Very greasy. But i only use it at night so im not worried about that. WORKS GREAT for acne! But at first I broke out from it.. AT FIRST : I exfoliate only on the days that I have cheer practice. (2 times a week) So I exfoliate with: O A T M E A L or of course theres baking soda. But I dont really like using that... Hope this helps!:) Bye guys! - ayana. <3

Pros:

- Visibly reduces redness
- Shortens duration of healing
- Smooths skin

Cons:

- Time consuming

I discovered this remedy through a friend and am so glad! My skin is extremely broken out right now, but also acting very sensitive so it's hard to find the right balance of treatments for it. I've been doing a treatment several times per week - first the egg white, then the egg yolk. If I'm short on time I do just the egg yolk. I find it easiest to wash off the dried egg yolk in a warm-to-hot shower with the help of a soft washcloth. I let my face soak under the shower spray for a minute and then begin gently wiping the egg off. It helps reduce the size and redness of the larger bumps and seems to be helping the scars heal faster, too. TIP: Use a small paintbrush to apply the egg to your face. Much less messy! I wash my brush on the top rack of the dishwasher after each use. Got mine in the paint section at Wal Mart for a dollar.

Pros:

Tightens pores, evens out skin texture and tone, reduces redness, lightens the skin. Minimizes redness and size of pimples.

Cons:

It's irritating after it dries, but it's worth the wait.

I love it, the anticipation is worth it. It's irritating. But who cares. People comment on my skin all the time, who would have ever thought that the captain of the football team wears masks? I reccomend this to anyone.

Wow!
i seriously never review anything online- I read reviews all day and night but I never actually post them on my own. This mask actually worked very well for me after one use! Let me give you some background on me: I am 19 years old and I have struggled with very painful acne since I was about 14 or 15. I typically only break out on my forehead and get very painful cysts/whiteheads in between my eyebrows- it's awful. In the past year or so, I've also started to break out on my chin with the same kind of painful cysts. I've never had acne that didn't hurt like hell. I have tried everything from harsh chemical treatments like Proactiv when I was younger to gentle cleansers to even just using water and coconut oil(which worked the best for a while). I have pretty oily skin as well. I've put every ingredient, fruit, vegetable, oil, etc on my skin that you could imagine. In the past couple of weeks, I started birth control that is supposed to help with acne, but this week it is much worse than ever. Last night I had horrible, painful acne all between my eyebrows and I decided to try to egg white treatment on a whim. I took a shower and soaked my acne in a hot compress for about 10 minutes, then I got out and washed my face. I separated the yolk from the egg and took my egg white into the bathroom. I folded a piece of toilet tissue, dipped it into the egg white and started to spread it over only my acne. I decided not to do it on the rest of the face because I didn't want it to break me out in any other places if I had adverse side effects. I left it on my skin for about 25 minutes, then I washed it off with lukewarm water. It did begin to feel itchy at the end, but nothing unbearable. Immediately after, my skin looked way less red then it did before. This morning I woke up and the pain was practically gone! Now the pimples are still there, but much less noticeable and much less painful. I'm going to try the mask one more time tonight and see what happens tomorrow! My face is also GLOWING! Despite my pimples I didn't even want to put on makeup today because my face felt very fresh. Try this out! Nothing has ever given me real results with the exception of raw honey. I can't want to try this mixed with the honey. Give it a try! :)
