Pros:

- made my skin look super clean and flawless
- helps even more if you have naturally great skin
- my skin felt so soft and clean
- my blackheads were virtually gone
- so easy to do

Cons:

- didn't reduce redness, actually made mine look more prominent since my skin got super clean and clear

Most of these reviews helped me decide to make this egg white facial mask but none of these reviews really helped me because my outcome wasn't always the same as everyone's since everyone's skin is different. However, this remedy is great to use and will have a positive outcome no matter what the outcome is. I've done this twice and it made my skin smoother each time, as well as super clear (except for the redness). Either way I STRONGLY RECOMMEND this to everyone even though your outcome won't be the same as anyone else's.

Pros:

* Lightens acne
* Whitens out skin
* Tightens skin
* Shrinks size of pores

Cons:

* Very itchy for sensitive skin people like me
* Messy

It's fantastic! : ) The process might not be quite pleasant, but it's totally worth it. Here's how I do it; 1) Get a hot wet towel and put it all over your face for 10 seconds to open your pores up 2) Get a huge pot and put the egg white in 3) For the egg, you have to beat it until it's all foamy and bubbly. So use a whisk instead of a fork. Make sure there's no liquid yet except just white foam. 4) With clean hands, put the foam all over your face, and wait for 25~30 minutes! 5) Discard the remaining foam (even if it's a waste) because they're not gonna be fresh for the next five days and are likely going to cause more break outs! I do this two times a week. I first used the egg white with 80% liquid, and it didn't do much. But when I used the foam... it was a lot better! : )

Pros:

dramatically shrinks blemishes, smooths skin
clears redness & blackheads
works quickly
easy to make & use
cheap & NATURAL!!

Cons:

not vegan..
sometimes feels a little stingy
makes face stiff when it dries (so don't try to talk to people haha!)

I've tried LOTS of natural remedies for my combination skin (moderate to light acne on cheeks), like honey, baking soda masks, oatmeal masks, etc, but this works the FASTEST and has the BEST RESULTS. It's really easy, and worth a try!! Just separate the egg whites from an egg, whisk until bubbly/frothy, and apply to a clean face! About 30-50 min is a good time range to leave it on.. Good luck!

Pros:

Refreshes skin, gives a slight face lift, leaves skin clean and smooth, helped clear acne overnight, moisturized my dry, brittle skin, evens skin tone

Cons:

Left slight acne scarring

First off, let me address one concern a lot of people have- the smell. It's REALLY not bad at all. If you've ever tried egg soup, it smells a little like that. I did add honey to the egg white and yolk which did help dilute the smell. All I did was crack an egg, separate the white from yolk, add about 1/2 tsp of honey to each and beat until frothy. I then cleansed my skin with Cetaphil and applied the egg whites. Waited 30 minutes, rinsed, pat dry and do the same with egg yolk. Afterward, I applied a little bit of moisturizer, saran wrapped the left overs and used them for three days. Over all, I have only been using this for a few days and the change in my skin is incredible. If you're tried of the chemicals harming your skin, this is an awesome remedy!

Pros:

reduces pimples
helps with redness
seems to soothe skin

Cons:

can be a little itchy/tight on the face but so very worth it

Seriously you guys, please please try this. I'm one of those people that have literally never written a review of anything in my life but felt like i really had to for this. I have struggled with acne for a long time and although most of the time it is manageable, every month or two it seems like i break out terribly. I also tend to wash/touch my face more when this happens (BAD IDEA) and i end up with terrible blaring red marks all over my pale skin. I tried the egg white mask for the first time for about 30 minutes and im not sure if i noticed a huge difference but i kept with it and on the third day i really noticed a difference. My pimples became a LOT less red and reduced in size. I began to notice a difference primarily when i left the mask on for about an hour or more. do not be discouraged if you don't see immediate results!! i was a little bummed at first but please keep with it! It really does help speed up the skin healing process. a tip to avoid the discomfort of the mask is to watch a movie or go on the computer or something. i apply a lot of egg white to my face and it becomes super tight and itchy at moments but when i am completely still it is definitely manageable. good luck everyone, i really hope this was helpful!

Pros:

* skin tightens when you wear the mask
* pores appear smaller
* makes skin feel super silky and soft

Cons:

* none

Okay... i've seen so many different variations, so i'm just going to add my regime to the pot. :) i cracked an egg; separated the yolk. put the whites in a bowl and the yolk in another bowl. whisked both until frothy. washed face with gentle cleanser and applied the egg white mixture. let sit for 20 minutes. i swear on my future grave, it was so cool feeling my skin tighten!!! and (even if it was temporary or just in my head) my pores really seemed to vanish!!!!!! after 20ish minutes, i removed the egg white mask with lukewarm water. then i applied the whisked egg yolk. note: i added honey to the yolk (about 1/2 tablespoon), because i read that the whites could dry out the skin. yolk is still on my face. feels great. oh! annnnd, because i didn't want to throw away the rest of the egg, i just put saran wrap on the bowls and put them in the fridge. i'm going to try this again in the morning. hopefully the eggs will still be okay? has anyone else reused the remainder of the eggs for future treatments???? i only tried this once, but i'm already sold. try it. seriously. what have you got to lose?? :)

Pros:

-Reduce size of pimples
-Minimize pore size
-Reduce blackheads
-Reduce redness
-Skin feels soft and clean afterwards
-Instant result
-Cheap

Cons:

NONE

Acne and blackheads have always been my number one skin problem. I have tried so many things over the years - expensive beauty products, chemist prescription, going to the doctors, herbal remedies - you name it. I stumbled across this forum just last week and decided to give it a go. Much to my surprise it works really well!!! It instantly reduced the size of my pimples and also redness around my cheeks! Some reviewers have suggested using this daily and so I did and my skin has improved miles since the first day I started! My blackheads has also reduced significantly! My way of doing it is by first separating the white from the yolks into two bowls and add juice of half lemon into both. Whip both for a bit (until there are bubbles) and apply the egg white mix first to clean face for about 30-60 minutes. I then wash the egg white mask off and apply the egg yolk mask for 10 minutes as it helps to combat dryness that the egg white mask has created. The lemon juice helps to remove the fishy smell of the egg and also whitens the skin! I have also tried substituting the lemon with organic raw honey (one tsp) and it works fine too. This has really saved me and I would definitely recommend people to have a go with this! You won't regret it!

Pros:

You can really feel it working as it tightens on your skin, and I find this immensely satisfying
Shrinks my monstrous pores
Reduces redness of any acne
Tones like a dream
Prevents new acne
CHEAP

Cons:

Dryness which can, however, be combatted

After spending a significant portion of my teenage budget on the expensive and counterproductive acne washes my mother denied me (and so she should have) I am so stoked to have found this miracle cure. I leave the whites on for 15 - 30 minutes daily. I have dry skin so I find it best to mix the egg whites with honey, as previous posters have suggested. After the wash I spread the yolk on my face, also mixed with honey, which acts as an effective moisturizer if left on skin for around 10 minutes. If you don't have dry skin you can skip the yolk, although I find it not only moisturizes but also softens the skin which makes it a fun little post-miracle step. Thank you chickens, I owe you one.

Pros:

*Makes my skin glow.
*Dramatically reduces redness
*Prevents breakouts if used consistently
*Tightens pores
*Natural and usually non irritant
*Easy to acquire.

Cons:

*None

I'm 14 and have moderate acne across my forhead and on my jawline, so mostly in the T-zone area. I found that using strong cleansers and exfoliaters would leave my skin quite red and irritated so I decided to use this egg white mask to see if it would help with my skin. After 3 days of use, I noticed that my skin was a lot more clearer and the redness of my acne was dramatically reduced. My morning routine: 1. Rinse my face with cold water gently. 2. Apply Cetaphil all over my face very gently. 3. Rinse off the Cetaphil and pat dry my skin with tissues. 4. Apple light beaten egg whites to my face with a make up remover pad. 5. Allow the egg white mask to dry for 20-25 minutes.( I usually just go on Msm or Facebook or watch TV during this time). 6. Wash face thoroughly making sure to remove all the egg whites. 7. Pat face dry again with tissues. 8. Gently apply my oil-free moisturizer.
