Pros:

-inexpensive and easily accesible
-calms skin
-reduces redness
-tightens pores

Cons:

none :)

though at first i thought smoothing egg white on my face was odd, i soon decided the benefits were more than worth it! while the egg dries on your face it does make your skin feel tight and possibly slightly itchy for a few minutes, but my skin quickly adapted to the sensation and before long it was barely noticeable. after i had rinsed the mask off, my skin looked instantly smoother and i had a much more even skin tone. even my larger blemishes were smaller and less red! and the best part is: these results lasted all day! so so so happy i tried this :)

Pros:

-Insanely good at removing redness on skin
-Softens skin
-Evens out skin tone
-Reduces and prevents acne.
-Makes your face overall look fresher and brighter
-Also great for reducing bags and dark circles.
-Easily available and cheap.

Cons:

None really, although at first applying the mask is a bit disgusting due to the fact your putting egg on your face, luckily it dries in very fast.

Minor purging of skin to begin with, few tiny spots on forhead, but these went after subsequent application of mask.

I can't believe how amazing this is, seriously. I've been using acne products for ages, all sorts of stuff and it's funny that the very best (or at least one of the best) solutions was right under my nose. I didn't think much of the idea of sticking egg whites on my face, but really the results are phenomonal. If you want to know what I do I simply: 1) Grab a bowl 2) Crack open an egg half-way 3) Slosh the yolk and egg whites between each cracked egg shell so the yolk remains in one, during this the egg whites will slip out into the bowl. 4) Stir the egg whites in the bowl until it's bubbly. 5) Apply generously to face. 6) Leave the egg whites in a fridge, normally I can get roughly 3 masks from 1 egg just don't wait to long because it'll go off quickly. Every night I start by applying a egg white mask, I leave this on for 30 minutes and rinse it off. I'm amazed at how well egg whites work as a mask, it feels like a real mask, it dries very quickly and gives a tight feel on your face. The smell believe it or not is really nice once rinsed off. After doing this for the first time, I immediatly noticed my redness had reduced, which I loved but sadly I also noticed a few pimples had come through (only tiny ones) I was worried but assumed it was due to purging. I decided to apply another mask and leave this one on all night. I woke up and aspected more acne but I WAS SHOCKED!!!! All I mean literally all the redness on my face had gone, the spots that came from the first application had gone and other spots had completely gone or reduced. Seriously I've struggled for redness on my face for almost ever. I also had dryness that wouldn't go away no matter how much I moisturized, after applying the egg whites over night I was AMAZED that it didn't dry my face like other masks but removed the dryness. Night times used to be the danger zone for me where new acne would form, now since applying this every night,

Pros:

-Reduces redness
-Softens and tightens skin
-Evens skin tone ( and fades out minor scars)
-Reduces acne
-Brightens skin tone
-Also great for removing a hickey!

Cons:

-If you have fairly light skin, it may cause some yellow pigmentation if used too much.
-I have had to throw out every batch I've made before using it all, because it expires within 3-4 days. :(

Like most people who try home remedies, I don't have enough money to dish out every month for creams. I've also tried everything, excluding Accutane. Three months ago, I decided to stop using Yaz due to the cost and weight gain. ************************************************ Egg White Mask Recipe! Ingredients needed: 1 egg 1 tablespoon of milk 1 tablespoon of honey 1 Q-tip 1 cotton ball 1. Carefully crack the egg across the middle over a bowl. Juggle the yolk between the two egg shell halves, letting the egg whitesslip into the bowl below. The key is to not break the yolk or let it fall into the bowl! 2. Stir in the honey and milk, and begin whisking the mask mix with a fork. 3. Once the mix is covered in as much bubbles as you can make, apply the mask to any area needed (face, chest, back, etc). You can simply wipe it on, but if you have facial hair or stubble, try dabbing it on. Smearing the mask over facial hair will destroy the cotton ball and leave you will gobs of the mask in your facial hair. The mask is also great for smoothing dry underarms, and removing hickies. ;) 4. Use the Q-tip to apply and extra coating to under your eyes or in trouble areas. 5. You can use the mask as much as you want! I do not recommend over-using it, for it may cause some yellow skin pigmentation if you have light skin. I know this miracle mix is tempting to use all the time, but remember that, like most acne remedies, if it is overused it may have the opposite effect or become ineffective! I apply the mask the my chest and face for 2 hours a day, and at night if I have a breakout. ************************************************ Coupled with drinking lots of water (at LEAST 32oz. a day), your skin will clear up rapidly. I noticed an immediate reduction in redness after applying the mask for 30 minutes. Now wear it whenever I plan on staying home all day. The mask doesn't really smell that bad, and it washes off

Pros:

NONE!!!

Cons:

Made me break out a TON
Didn't reduce pore size at all

Before I used this mask, I had a light sprinkling of acne just across my forehead. I used the egg mask on a Monday, Wednesday, and a Friday, and by Saturday my whole face was broken out in cystic acne. It was by far the absolute WORST breakout I have EVER had!!! I thought perhaps I was just purging, so I tried it again a few weeks later when the acne had gone down a bit - NOPE another breakout.... Quite honestly, this is the most horrible anti-acne mask/product I have ever used... Nothing has ever made me break out so bad... I suppose you shouldn't let my experience deter you since everyone else seems to like it, but man the egg mask made my skin the worst I've ever seen it...

Pros:

Instantly skin feels cool and clean, scars somewhat shrink over time, redness fades for a few hours, acne fades as well. In my opinion, the feeling of the egg mask drying on my face is my favorite part; it makes me feel like its working!

Cons:

A while to prepare, and it goes bad after a few days, so every time you prepare it; make sure it's not too much.

I began using this product for months in early 2009. I saw a dramatic change in my acne. By the time the new school year began in September, I stopped using the mask thinking that everything was going to be fine. This was a big mistake because my acne got worse and the scars each and every pimple left behind was a pain! I'm using the mask again hoping that my healthy skin will come back again. This is worth trying because you have nothing to lose, except maybe a dollar?

Pros:

Shrinks Pores, Reduces Redness, Heals pimples, Inexpensive, Easy Rinsing

Cons:

After rinsed off skin is a little irritated, hard to apply

This is a very good mask and I will use it more often. I think I should of whipped the egg white first because it was kinda hard to get on my face. I would rate the performance of the mask a 4.5 but it made my skin a bit irritated for the next half hour. I like this mask you should try it.

It works.

None at all.

Been using this everyday for over a week now. It works straight away and can see acne scars fading and makes skin look fresh. I leave it on for 30 mins and then rinse off with cold water. Would recommended to anyone.
