A miracle!
This egg white mask is just amazing! I started getting a lot of red small bumps on one side of my cheek. I was to scared of showing it to anyone, not even my parents. This is when I decided that I'll cure these bumps by myself. So I read most of these positive reviews which gave me courage to try it. But, i wasn't like this in the beginning I had a tiny doubt it wouldn't work since I read most positive reviews about honey mask and that just resulted in having many red bumps which was so annoying. But I had this thought saying that trying it won't hurt, so I did. I took a trip to my fridge and grabed 2 eggs and cracked it only leaving the egg white in the bowl. I hurried to grab so tissues and ran into the bathroom feeling excited to see the results. So i tied my hair up so I won't get any on my hair (even tho if you wash your hair with egg yolk it will become very smooth afterward). I applied a fair amount of eggwhite on my face avoiding the mouth and eyes. After I was finished then I puted a thin layer of tissue on my face avoiding mouth and eyes. But, this wasn't the end of the procedure. I used the left over eggwhite and applied it on top of the tissue. I didn't set a timer or look at a clock waiting for the exact time instead I waited till the tissue become hard which took 1 hour and a half for me ( worth the wait). FINALLY when the time came I thought negatively that this won't change the bumps. I slowly peeled off the mask only to find a miracle. ........my skin became smoother, the bumps were like instanly gone, and the redness on my cheeks disappeared! I RECOMMEND THIS MASK TO PEOPLE OF ALL AGE! Age: 12 Gender: Female

I use Egg white facials once a week along with using a prescribed acne wash every day. It has done wonders for my skin as an addition to my acne wash. I don't know how affective it is alone, but it's kept my skin clear for at least a week when I was home (and forgot my acne stuff in my dorm). About the smell! It doesn't smell, but I did notice today when I was separating the yolk and egg, I did get a small amount of the yolk in the mixture. I didn't think anything of it and it hasn't affected the effect, but it did smell significantly worse. Egg white facials are great for oily skin like mine, because they really get all the oil out. The first time I gave myself this facial, I used the yolk as a moisturizer (it does work), but that made it too oily for me. I'd recommend just the white for oily skin. I usually whip the whites, put two layers on my skin, wait half hour (although I've done ten minutes and its worked great) and wash off. I'd definitely try it, it's cheap and easily found and works. Good luck!

Pros:

Heals acne veryyyyyy quickly
Leaves skin soft and smooth
Reduces cystic acne
Prevents acne

Cons:

itchy
Takes a whilee to dry

So I was sitting in my room dreading an upcoming dance because of my acne. I have been using clinique acne solutions and it just wasn't cutting it. I have spent hundreds of dollars ok acme products over the years and none seemed to work. So I went online once again to find a new "cure" and I went to an acne website that said egg whites help tremendouly. I thought it was crazy but since I had eggs handy I thought what the heck. So I cracked an egg and smeared it on and when I took it off I was amazed. My skin tone was even and all the redness was gone. I was even more suprised the next morning when I woke up and half my acne was completely gone! I would recommend this to anyone because of it magic and the low costs. Don't spend 80 bucks on something that doesn't work just make a trip to the grocery store and get eggs for $2. It's worth the splurge;). What to do: Crack an egg in half and transfer the yolk into thedifferent halves of the egg shell over a small bowl untill all you have in the bowl is egg whites Dump the yolk but keep the shell! Put a squirt of honey in whites and stir until bubbles appear Smear whites on face generously avoid eyes(it burns suprisingly!) Wash hands and grab the shell! Peel off the skin in the shell and put it onspots you want cleared up fast and I blackheads Wait 20min or untill dry Wash off with a wet towel Enjoy your beautiful new skin!(:

Pros:

-Reduces redness
-Softens and tightens skin
-Evens skin tone ( and fades out minor scars)
-Reduces acne
-Brightens skin tone
-Also great for removing a hickey!

Cons:

-If you have fairly light skin, it may cause some yellow pigmentation if used too much.
-I have had to throw out every batch I've made before using it all, because it expires within 3-4 days. :(

Like most people who try home remedies, I don't have enough money to dish out every month for creams. I've also tried everything, excluding Accutane. Three months ago, I decided to stop using Yaz due to the cost and weight gain. ************************************************ Egg White Mask Recipe! Ingredients needed: 1 egg 1 tablespoon of milk 1 tablespoon of honey 1 Q-tip 1 cotton ball 1. Carefully crack the egg across the middle over a bowl. Juggle the yolk between the two egg shell halves, letting the egg whitesslip into the bowl below. The key is to not break the yolk or let it fall into the bowl! 2. Stir in the honey and milk, and begin whisking the mask mix with a fork. 3. Once the mix is covered in as much bubbles as you can make, apply the mask to any area needed (face, chest, back, etc). You can simply wipe it on, but if you have facial hair or stubble, try dabbing it on. Smearing the mask over facial hair will destroy the cotton ball and leave you will gobs of the mask in your facial hair. The mask is also great for smoothing dry underarms, and removing hickies. ;) 4. Use the Q-tip to apply and extra coating to under your eyes or in trouble areas. 5. You can use the mask as much as you want! I do not recommend over-using it, for it may cause some yellow skin pigmentation if you have light skin. I know this miracle mix is tempting to use all the time, but remember that, like most acne remedies, if it is overused it may have the opposite effect or become ineffective! I apply the mask the my chest and face for 2 hours a day, and at night if I have a breakout. ************************************************ Coupled with drinking lots of water (at LEAST 32oz. a day), your skin will clear up rapidly. I noticed an immediate reduction in redness after applying the mask for 30 minutes. Now wear it whenever I plan on staying home all day. The mask doesn't really smell that bad, and it washes off

Pros:

tightens pores
reduces red marks
brings pimples to a head
glowing skin tone
cheap!

Cons:

smelly
messy to apply

This is a great facial mask. You can really feel it working. About 20 minutes after I washed it off I glanced back in the mirror and the redness was really reduced! If you can get past the smell and thought of putting egg on your face, this is not a cure but defintley a great help.

Pros:

The foam is very easy to make and it's also very inexpensive. Skin looks clearer after first use but looks much better while the mask is actually on. I wish it was accepted by society to walk around with egg white on your face.

Cons:

The egg white foam is kinda messy and stinky. It makes your face feel really tight which some would consider good. The tight feeling continues even after it's been washed off.

I will continue to use this and see how it goes for me. First use has really convinced me. If this does not work then I will just start taking Isotretinoin.

Pros:

Natural
Exfoliating
Effective
Inexpensive
Gentle
Helps heal whiteheads and blackheads

Cons:

Doesn't always work on cystic acne

My mom shared her great wisdom of the egg white mask two days before my senior prom. I had a huge, unsightly pimple under my nose and wanted a quick fix. Taking her advice, I used an egg white mask the pimple was gone by prom! :) Handling egg white in your fingers is weird, I know. When you smear it on your face, it's going to feel cold and slimy. The best thing to do is to take a rag, hold it under your chin (in case of dripping), and go watch an episode of your favorite TV show. After about 20 minutes, the mask should dry. It's going to feel like you have a layer of icky, cracking skin over your face. Don't worry, it washes right off! Even better, soak a washcloth in hot water and lie it over your face before washing the mask off. It feels wonderful!

Pros:

Feels Great

Cheap
Easy to Apply

Cons:

Slimy

I was glad to have found this blog because I was trying everything the doctor prescribed to me that only worked for a short period of time. I was tired of spending money and finding myself still waking up with bad acne. I tried Proactiv which works, but requires you to keep buying it or else the acne will just repeat itself if you don't use it. I have been using egg whites now for about 2 months and its working pretty good for me. It's taking a little time though, being that my skin has a lot of darkspots from where I popped my pimples. I beat my egg whites with a tblspoon of honey and a tblspoon of lemon. I apply it with the back of the spoon (lol kinda crazy but it works 4 me) or my hands (until I buy a brush). I let it stay on for a whole day if I dont have to go anywhere, otherwise I do an overnight mask. I am african american, so I use ambi (everyday) to make the dark spots fade. Overall, I give egg whites a 9.5 on my scale.

Removes excess oil (I have oily skin)
Tightens pores
Dries pimples
Lovely tingly feel when washed off
Leaves skin feeling smooth and even

Cons:

None

I wish I'd thought of an egg white mask sooner! It's a wonderful, cheap, natural way to clear up your skin fast. I wash my face with gentle, vegetable-based soap. I smear about half of an egg white over my face and wait for it to dry. Then I gently wash it off with just water. I do this every other day.
