Pros:

SPF

Cons:

White film, pools of oil on my face after a few hours, spreads like suntan lotion

Hard to spread evenly..leaves a film...makes me really oily.

Pros:

SPF

Cons:

didn't help with my dry skin, hard to absorb

I didn't like this moisturizer. I had to use it over other moisturizer because it didn't help my dryness at all. It also felt really sticky and gross and i had to use blotting sheets every day when I was using it. The only plus is that it has SPF which I need because I have really pale skin. I love the purpose cleanser which I use everyday so I was excited to try this moisturizer but I don't like it at all, I would not recommend this to anyone!!

Good for young skin
I used this for years and really loved it. But as I got older, I realized that the sunscreen wasn't the best for strong sun exposure and that my skin needed a lot more moisturizer on a daily basis. So I swapped it out for 2 separate products, a straight up sunscreen (no built in moisutizer) and then a separate moisturizer. I feel like that combo really works for me. But this was great for when I was young and on a serious budget.

This works great!
Hi, I think I have used this one last time when one of my relatives from the states had a vacation here and she brought that one. My skin is smooth and moisturized.

Pros:

- Recommended by my dermatologist
- Daily use of SPF has kept my face young
- Not oily and doesn't clog pores
- Very gentle and non-irritating
- Never causes me breakouts
- Faint pleasant smell
- No ads or gimicks
- One bottle lasts a long time
- My skin never feels dry
- Good value

Cons:

- Once my store stopped carrying it so I had to order it from the pharmacist
- Not the cheapest on the market

I first started breaking out when I was 11 years old. My mom took me to a dermatologist because she didn't want me to have acne scars like she does. Dr. Hogan is a genius and I have been seeing him ever since, and I'm about to be 31! When I first went to see him he told me, among other things, to use Purpose moisturizing lotion. I have been using it two or three times a day ever since. I believe that two decades of use should be a testimony to how great this product is. It has definitely been a key part of fending off those dreaded pimples.

Pros:

Doesn't break me out, unlike EVERY other SPF product.

Cons:

feels a little greasy

Because of my complexion, I need to wear sunscreen everyday, but like I said, every sunscreen was breaking me out and I really tried 'em all. Then I recalled that when I first started getting zits, like when I was 13, my pediatrician recomended purpose, and I used it for a while, before being seduced by other flashier products. Boy I'm glad I gave this product another chance! It doesn't break me out, I have actually seen considerably less acne since using it, though this could be due to the other remidies I started using around that time (Klear Action lotion, asperin/honey mask, Mint Jeulip mask). Incidentally, I totally understand what other's are saying, about the white film. However, I have VERY pale skin, so wearing this stuff is kind of like a tinted moisturizer. I guess it might look funny on dark skin, I dont know. It's also not the lightest or fastest absorbing lotion, I just apply it, wait a minute and then sweep a little face powder over it, and I'm nice and matte.

Pros:

relatively light, decent moisturizer, doesn't cause acne, contains SPF

Cons:

leaves skin shiny, makes little clumps of moisturizer

It doesn't seem to be a "strong" moisturizer, however the only time I notice signficant dryness/peeling is when I slack off for a day or two from using this moisturizer. I've found the best way to deal with the shine or residue this moisturizer leaves behind is with an oil blotting sheet. It gets rid of the excess moisturizer and make up goes on much better. Most importantly though this moisturizer have never aggravated my acne like others have.

Pros:

Long-lasting container, Gentle, Effective, Lightweight, SPF

Cons:

No SPF-free version available

My face hates moisturizers because they feel greasey and heavy. This one does not. It's light, absorbs fairly well, and it doesn't take much for me to get the job done. I've had the same bottle for years. My only complaint is there is no non-SPF version for night-wear. I think SPF-free might be gentler, too.

Pros:

Feels light on skin
Provides sun protection
Can be found online
Has been on market for around 20 years!

Cons:

Slightly scented, goes away in an hour or so

I have been using Rachel Perry's Calendula SPF 15 moisturizer for years until they recently went out of business. This moisturizer is the perfect replacement. I don't understand the relative low rating this moisturizer gets! I have very sensitive and pale skin so the least bit of irritation shows - this product does not show any of it! I really do recommend this product if you're looking for a light moisturizer with SPF protection. If not, I recommend Complex 15. This product has been in existence for almost 20 years! That in itself should be evidence enough. I use this product over Dan's treatment everyday.

Pros:

Solid SPF moisturizer

Cons:

Leaves flaky spots when skin is really dry

I can't use this in the winter when my skin goes Sahara on me, but for the summer, it's great. It is a bit greasy but it doesn't cause any additional breakouts.
