Pros:

reduced breakouts
improves skin
hydration
feel great

Cons:

None, except maybe weight loss

I heard about how this could help acne, and I though I might as well give it a try especially since it is good for me either way. I was using it will topical olive oil and my breakouts were reduced. I stopped for a week, because I ran out of water, and acne increased by about 50%. I have since started drinking about 5 bottles of water a day, and it defiantly helps. I'd say you will loose about 50% of acne. This is amazing considering this is just drinking water. I'd be happy if it reduced it by 25% and id recommend this to everyone with acne, because it will at least kill a pimple for every three you might get. BEST FOR OILY SKIN (sensitive skin will likely receive a 10% and lower benefit)

Pros:

healthy skin
healthy body

Cons:

you pee a lot

You won't get rid of acne just by drinking water, you have to eat right too. Depending on how sensitive your skin is, but if i go on an eating crap binge (greasy food, cheeses, etc) it will show on my face. But when I eat healthy and drink tons of water, my face looks clear, has a nice glow to it, i'm slimmer- a win-win situation. I also started using retin-a and have noticed a huge difference in past scars. This combo is working for me, give it a try!

Underrated Method

Most people say they tried drinking tons of water a day and nothing changed with their acne. Now this may be true for a small percentage of people, but I believe people have misconceptions about this. Now I’m no expert but I think that drinking water doesn’t make pimples go away, but it prevents new ones. I’ve researched online and all of the websites say water flushes out toxins and things that cause acne. I urge people to drink a lot of water for a few months and see if your face gets less NEW acne than usual. I was lucky because I had acne where pimples don’t last very long and I was able to spot this difference. Today, after 5 months of doing this, I have almost completely cleared my face other than the tiny ones you can only see when I am two inches away from you. I hope this works for you all!

Silver lining

So this is going to sound really silly.

When I was 15, I went on holiday to Menorca with my family. One day we were waiting to cross the street to get to beach. A huge van drives past and throws up all the sand on the road into my mouth (I was talking at the time). As you can imagine it felt awful and I just couldn't seem to wash it away with enough water and all my food in the day tasted of sand!

I must have guzzled about 4/5 litres of water to try and get rid of the sand. Luckily it went away overnight. And I looked in the mirror at myself in the morning. My skin was quite literally gleaming and almost sparkling with cleanliness and clarity. So yes, can heavily vouch for lots of water and a good night's  sleep to get rid of acne - overnight!

Good, but...
When I was 15 I had pretty bad cystic acne on my forehead, and only my forehead. I tried epiduo like my dermatologist recommended, but it didn't seem to make much of a difference. I originally started drinking enough water because I downloaded an app called plant nanny, and I wanted to compete with my friends. Thank god for this because in two weeks that acne was significantly better and within a month and a half it was completely clear. And I mean COMPLETELY. For the next year and a half I was known for having very good, glowy skin. Fast forward to about two months ago. I started breaking out again (on my forehead) and now it is almost as bad as when I was 15. I still drink plenty of water, so I know that it's not because my water intake decreased. I will obviously still continue to drink water since I've also experienced other benefits to my overall health, but I guess my point is that clear skin doesn't always last forever. I thought I had found my miracle product, but I guess I'm still looking. No doubt, water helps, but it doesn't solve everything.

Pros:

Healthy for you.

Cons:

Does not do anything for acne!!! A

nd these things should be rated according to how it helps acne, not how healthy it is. I don't know why it has such high ratings.
