Can water REALLY help?
I'm in my early twenties, I have had an acne problem for as long as I could remember.
I try to drink as much water as I possibly could, I don't wear ANY makeup nor do I smoke--I feel like a victim of secondhand smoking sometimes, especially by those to DO smoke--but I don't drink and I can STILL feel my face is oily.
Some days I drink 6-to-8 glasses/cups of water, 2-to-3 sometimes 4 water bottles.
I've been taking Centrum Women almost every day for the past month and/or two.
I think my real problem is processed/junk food and sweets--I've been trying REALLY HARD to keep it to a minimum, but it seems to be almost IMPOSSIBLE for me.
My mother's in her fifties and her non-oily face is clear, a heck of a lot better than my face, without a doubt.
What should I do?

HAS HELPED REDUCE ACNE SO MUCH !!!!
Sounds to good to be true but water has helped my skin SO SO SO much. Everyday I set a standard to drink AT LEAST 3000mL of water a day which is basically 6 cups. I've noticed such an improvement in my skin !!!! I highly recommend drinking water to see some improvement in your skin.

Cons:
None
Water is good in general, but when it comes to acne I have noticed a difference. I have made a habit of drinking ~8 cups of water a day and my oil production has decreased. I am taking zinc and vitamin d3 as well, and all three has made a drastic difference. Even if water doesn't work, you should continue drinking copious amounts just to remain healthy and hydrated.

Works for me
Where do I start, the summer before my freshman year in high school I started getting acne (I did in middleschool just not as bad, the occasional pimple that went away without anything scarring) the acne I got was only on my forehead and I used products such as tea tree which worked for awhile but then became ineffective. I then continued to suffer through these forehead pustules all throughout my freshman year until I got sick of it, and I read on here that drinking water cured another woman's forehead acne. As desperate as I was, I tried it and within a month I didn't have anymore active forehead acne yet I still had the marks left afterwards. (Keep in mind diet matters too and I also was drinking 10-12 glasses a day) I started drinking water at the end of May 2016 and by the end of August 2016 my marks were pretty much faded. The reason I believe water helped cure my forehead acne is because I didn't drink nearly as much water during the next school year (maybe 4-6 glasses a day) and I started breaking out on my forehead again. I recommend if you only have acne on your forehead to at least give water a try or any acne at all.

Just not for acne and better skin!
What started out as a pre-New Year's resolution over two months ago has become something that I've realized was crucial for not only my acne and skin, but for my overall health.
Overall health aside, however, water not only helps limit the amount of acne I have, but also makes your skin look glowing and overall better. My skin is now smooth and nice, much like you would expect to see after an exfoliator, without any harsh ingredients, methods, etc.
Give it a try; if it doesn't work, at least your body overall will thank you for helping! I've noticed a lot of comments on reviews asking how much water to drink; it really depends on your weight, height, activity, climate, etc, but there are many calculators out there to help you determine the recommended amount of water to consume each day!

water more could you ask for
WATER is the best thing that anyone could give their body,it keeps you hydrated and most of all it helps to flush out all those bad toxins inside of your body to help us with that PERFECT skin we all want, so i do recommend water over any drink as its pure and our bodies needs WATER to operate properly

Pros:
reduced breakouts
improves skin
hydration
feel great
Cons:
None, except maybe weight loss
I heard about how this could help acne, and I though I might as well give it a try especially since it is good for me either way. I was using it will topical olive oil and my breakouts were reduced. I stopped for a week, because I ran out of water, and acne increased by about 50%. I have since started drinking about 5 bottles of water a day, and it defiantly helps. I'd say you will loose about 50% of acne. This is amazing considering this is just drinking water. I'd be happy if it reduced it by 25% and id recommend this to everyone with acne, because it will at least kill a pimple for every three you might get. BEST FOR OILY SKIN (sensitive skin will likely receive a 10% and lower benefit)

Pros:
healthy skin
healthy body
Cons:
you pee a lot
You won't get rid of acne just by drinking water, you have to eat right too. Depending on how sensitive your skin is, but if i go on an eating crap binge (greasy food, cheeses, etc) it will show on my face. But when I eat healthy and drink tons of water, my face looks clear, has a nice glow to it, i'm slimmer- a win-win situation. I also started using retin-a and have noticed a huge difference in past scars. This combo is working for me, give it a try!
