Pros:

does work every time and removes blackheads.
leaves skin smoother and softer.
easy to use and easy to apply.

Cons:

does not remove everything, can be painful to take off.

ok well there are several things to think of for this product to work effectively. 1. take a shower before to leave your skin softer and more moist, and warm water opens pores more. 2. if not shower, clean your skin thoroughly, not just with some water or makeup-remover. 3. do NOT apply it on dry, squeezed or small pimples, then it can hurt, and irritate. 4. red spots and more pimples can occur afterward because just like ANY other anti-acne product, it cleans to the depth of the pores, and gets bacterias and other nasty things that are further in your skin out to the open. this will go away after a while, so don't worry. 5. using a sponge is the best way to moisture the area with water before applying. just getting some running water on it doesn't fill every corner of your nose for example, and the water disappears too fast for the full effect. 6. do not use this product everyday, it's not good for your skin. once or twice a week is fine. 7. the reason why not all blackheads disappear is because all blackheads are different, different size and how deep they go. only the ones that are ready to get out and that are open will be stuck to the strips. so don't be mad if not all of them get away. with some patience the other ones will be ready to get out. I have used these strips for a year, so I know what I'm talking about :)

Pros:

-easy to use (read the instructions and take your time)
-only takes 10-15 minutes
-results you can actually see

Cons:

-doesn't get ALL the blackheads
-makes nose a little itchy afterwards (nothing uncomfortable)
-kind of pricey: approx $1 a strip

I use the pore strips about once a week. I love how clean my nose feels when I'm done. I wish Biore would have more coupon offers for this product as it is a little pricey. Biore has improved on the product and is more durable than the ones I remember in the 90s.

Pros:

Unclogs pores

Cons:

Leaves wide open pores
can't be used on sensative skin or zits
expensive

I don't have zits on my nose, but I do have large, visible pores. The pore strips clean the pores very well, but they don't close the pores, so they are still very visible, and they get clogged again within days.

Pros:

- removes most blackheads

- isn't a pain to use; just wash your face, pat on the strip, wait for it to dry, then remove and watch the blackheads come out of your skin!

- inexpensive ($7 from Walmart for an 8 pack)

Cons:

- doesn't remove every single blackhead

Lets be real here, these work differently for every person. These didn't do a thing for my sister, but did an amazing job at removing blackheads for me. You can't properly review these, nor can you judge whether to buy these or not based off of reviews, because everyone will have different results, depending on your skin. I've only used these once and I will continue to use them weekly. I don't have acne, but I do have blackheads on my nose, which annoy the heck out of me. If you have blackheads and want to get rid of them, just give these things a try. They might work for you, they might not. They're worth the try!

Pros:

Get rids of A LOT of my blackheads.

Cons:

Nothing.

To get straight to the point: They work wonders, but if you get disappointed from the results, you probably did it wrong. I use them once every two weeks, which is recommended, after I take a long STEAMY shower. Once I get out of the tub, I wipe my hands dry and immediately put the strips on my face. (Nose strips and face strips). Wait till it's completely dry, and peel off slowly and BAM. I had a lot, it was gross to look at it, yet very satisfying.

Pros:

Stripped off alot of gunk
Flexible design fit well
not a bad price

Cons:

kind of hurt..

Overall, I really like them. I think they're worth the price you pay (just get em at WalMart if you think its too expensive) and its nice to see visible results. I wouldn't recommend swapping it for Proactiv or any other complete skincare routine, as it is only one step to be done every few days and a skincare routine is obviously consistently more effective. Oh, and one more note..when it says only use on your nose, listen! I think I accidentally waxed my lower lip!

Pros:

Removes a considerable amount of blackheads
Easy to use
Quick
You can see the blackheads afterwards

Cons:

It doesn't work if you use it more than 2 times a week
May hurt when you pull the strip off
Doesn't remove all of your blackheads
A bit expensive

I love Biore Pore Strips! I use them twice a week. The instructions say to wait at least 3 days before using the strips again. You can use them more often, but only a few blackheads will be removed, and I don't think it's worth the money. I have a TON of blackheads, and the pore strips can usually get off 25% of my blackheads, which i think is pretty good. :) My favourite part about using them is looking at all the gross little blackheads! It's actually quite a good feeling. Like winning a battle in the war against blackheads. Lol. Occasionally, it will hurt when you take it off. Just dab a little water on the trouble area, and you should be fine. I try to use them after showering, so my pores are open. Steaming your face should be fine too. I spritz my nose a couple of times with a spray bottle, so that i can get water everywhere. Then I quickly put the strip on. Gently pat down the strip, and make sure it is reaching the creases of your nose. Try not to move your face too much, and keep it on for 15 minutes. It is kind of expensive, and after buying it a couple of times at wal mart, I found out Costco was selling them! It is A LOT cheaper at costco, and they sell them in boxes of 2.
