Pros:

Ultra strips are amazing!!! They get so much yuck out!

Cons:

The regular strips don't work as well. In my experience, the regular strips get about 1/10 the amount out...literally.

I've been using Biore strips for years. I bought a bunch on ebay...thinking they were Ultra. They're regular. They don't work at all for me. (In all fairness, they could be older or bad batches???) However, the Ultra is worth the cost.

Pros:

Instant gratification, easy to use, and noticible results.

Cons:

[Nitpicking here:] Requires patience, leaves skin wide open and dry (i.e. itchy, which is a bad combination just ASKING for hand oils), and slightly painful.

While the strip askes for alot: time and - well, actualy JUST time - it comes with great results. As long as you THOROUGHLY wet your nose beforehand, wait as long necassary for it to be REALLY stiff, and pull it off slowely enough so that it can wrench off gunk more effectivly, the ends should more than trump the means. Plus, that little forest of brown things stickin'-up at the end is pretty neat to look at.

Pros:

You can see the gunk right on the strips. I wish they had these for the entire face!

Cons:

Price

These strips are so amazing and clean your pores extremely well.

Pros:

It certainly pulled out plenty of the gunk in my pores on my nose, which was nice, since I had many blackheads.

Cons:

It seemed to be unable to help some of the more stubborn blackheads, and they're kinda pricey. The tingling sensation was mildly alarming, but not painful or anything.

A good product, but a bit pricey overall. Granted, you are not supposed to use the strips more than once a week, and I've found that I could go about two weeks before I needed to use a strip again. So, while a bit pricey, a box strips can last for several months (generally 2-3), the price actually doesn't seem as horrid as it does at first glance. It was also very effective.

Pros:

It's so satisfying to see gunk from your skin on a little strip of papier-mâché. While you're carefully pulling it off your mind is chanting "Out with the bad"

Cons:

A little expensive. You really don't want to the application because of the price. And it can take up to half an hour for the strip to dry if your climat is damp.

It's enjoyable, but pricy. Try it out. The strips for the nose work the best. Chin, forehead and cheeks... not so much. I use a mild astringent afterwards because your pores are even more susceptible to oil, grime build up now that they are super exposed. An astringent will tighten them up and prevent that. Mind the light burning sensation.

Pros:

When used correctly, they do get the crap out of your nosepores.

Cons:

The nose strips should really be a bit wider; i always end up missing either the tip of my nose or the blackheady areas next to the bridge of my nose. These things are also kind of expensive, and it takes a bit to get a feel for using them.

When used properly and regularly, they will help you get rid of most of your blackheads. Those who've recommended letting the strips fully dry are correct - you can't shortcut the process. Also, you shouldn't just rip the things off - pull slowly and carefully.

Pros:

Worked relatively well, removing most of the visible gunk on my nose. Smelled kinda nice. Didn't irritate my skin, which is nice for those of us with sensitive skin.

Cons:

Didn't remove the stubborn blackheads, although i don't think much will. The tingleing didn't feel nice at all. Pulling off the strip when it was dry, hurt a bit.

I'd pay the money to buy another box.
