Clean & Clear : Deep Action Cream Cleanser

I had started out originally with the scrub but accidently grabbed the cream one day. The first day I used it I thought it was going to work well. But after I used it the second day I woke up a huge breakout on my face. The two months of slowly getting my acne had dissapeared and it was te worst it has ever been. Plus my skin is super dry. I stuck with it for a month thinking the it might just need more time but it only got slightly better. I switched back to my regular one and I just can't get my face back to where it was.

All this summer, I was using Clean & Clear Continuous Control Acne Cleanser with Clean & Clear dual action moisturizer. After a few weeks, I decided to buy another bottle of Continuous Control but instead decided to try something new and got Deep Action Cream Cleanser. WORST MISTAKE EVER. Before I used Deep Action, my face had no noticeable pimples (the best it had ever been) although a little bit dry on the sides of my mouth. Deep Action caused millions of small dots on my forehead and left my face in the worst I had ever been. My face was extremely red on my cheeks and broke out everywhere. Now in November, my face still hasn't recovered even though I stopped using it after a few weeks and switched back to Continuous Control. The dots have stayed and are all over face.

I was really excited when i bought this at my local CVS because there were some posters on the outside and clean and clear advertised it alot, and i heard some people were really glad they bought it! (I first bought the little travel size, then I bought the big bottle). After i finished the trial size bottle, I didn't really notice a difference. My skin was regular, still had some acne, but no major breakouts. It seemed that it was working, and it was for the first few weeks. (little bottle lasted about 2 and a half weeks.) Then I returned to CVS to buy the big bottle since I decided to stick to it. This usually lasts 3 months, but after a month and a half, i put it away in my bathroom drawer and haven't used it since. My skin turned SOOO oily and my breakouts were a bit worse. I always looked forward to the tingly cool feeling the boottle says it has, but I never felt it! :( I'm a real clean and clear girl so after i went to the continuous control wash and I'm so happy i found it. Even though i'm loyal to clean and clear, I'm really, really disappointed in this wash. I probably won't buy it again. :P

First I used this every morning and night and washed it off after and it didn't do much at all. But latley I've been using it as a leave on after night and wash it off in the morning and a few of my small pimples were gone but overall I didn't see much diffrence. But the cool tingly sensation is so wonderful that's why I like this product but it isn't so great for getting rid of acne.

I have been using this product for 2 years now and it has always been my faithful friend. Since this is not an exfoliant, the product will not really have any effect on scars. A must in your morning AND evening routine. This product really clears up your skin giving you a confident and an "I'm on top of the world" kind of feeling. I know tht it removes ALOT of dirt as I tried this out in conjunction with Eskinol -an aqeous cleanser tht you put on cotton wool/pad and clean your skin with (not very effective)- 2 months ago. As soon as I had looked at the cotton pad, I was surprised to see that there were no dirt or signs of oil clinging on. It has also left my skin feeling tingly and fresh. This product can be used while you are having your shower. It is best that you dont rub too hard on your skin with this as it will not make it work any better. You are clearly better off just cleaning gently on your face in a circular motion. I would recommend that this product is used in a routine. The Clean & Clear website has a program which helps you find the right routine for you entirely made up of the brand.

Ivused this for a long time because as I said in the cons, you THINK it's working... It isn't! The menthol in it makes your face feel cold and tingly so you feel like it is clean, but really it hasn't done much if anything. It is a cream so is hard to work into the skin. I don't know how I let myself get tricked into thinking this stuff worked for so long. You may get some initial improvement but that will probably just be because it is something new. Lame product overall. Probably great for people without acne though.

I was at my friends house and we were doing some masks that we saw on the internet. By mistake, I forgot my sensitive skin Spectro Jel cleanser, so my friend lent me hers. I used it and within minutes, I saw three to four zits arrive! I was so pissed because not even ten minutes ago, I was on my way to clear skin. What's even worse is that a day later the effects maximized and I got even more small zits! :'( worst producct I've ever used. *btw, I used to legitely have light acne, but this product took it to moderate. This is the worst mistake I've ever made involving my skin. AND; schools less than a month away! PLEASE NEVER USE THIS TERRIBLE. TERRIBLE. T-E-R-R-I-B-L-E PRODUCT!!!!

Officialy facial cleanser to increse acne. Buy it if you want to destroy your life.

I really liked this. After working out, I put this on and it cleared out all my oil and left my face feeling really fresh. Great product!!
