Pros:

Has SPF
That's about it...

Cons:

It burns!
Makes face itchy and red
It just really, really hurts :(

I used this for a month or so because someone had recommended it. I thought it was normal that my face hurt so bad every time I used it, because maybe my face was just sensitive from using BP or whatever. Uh no!!! Your skin should not hurt from using a moisturizer! Some people really like this and have good results, but for me, I would never ever use this product again. Try a patch test or something if you are considering using this product :)

Pros:

-SPF!!!!
-Moisturizer

Cons:

-Skin feels a "Little" wierd, kind of a warm feeling after use. Only lasts 1 minute.

I love this product. Sense i am on antibiotics for my acne I need an SPF moisturizer. My derm suggested I should take Doxycycline and a neutrogena 2.0% sacyclic acid and let me tell you it works wonders. This moisturizer works for less powerful cleaning utensils. and thats what it is ment for. Everyone that says this product is bad is using powerful products such as adapalene, Retin a and accutane. When i was on those things i used Cetaphil moisturizing cream and that worked for that. Use this if u need an SPF and a slightly good moisturizer that comes with it.

Pros:

SPF

Cons:

BURNS

I was not surprised to read that a lot of other people experienced burning from this product. It also made my skin very red and shiny. I can't say whether it made my acne any worse because I did not use it for very long. It is not gentle, unlike other Cetaphil products. Not only will I not buy this again, I threw the nearly full bottle out.

Pros:

It has spf.

Cons:

Made me break out

Cetaphil and I don't get along, I always get rashes when using cetaphil. Especially this one. Doesn't moist moisturize either...

Pros:

Light weight
Oil free
Protects you from the sun
DOES NOT MAKE ME BREAK OUT
*** I STRONGLY recommend using Marcelle face powder with this lotion! It's especially great for people with acne because it's hypo allergenic and won't clog your pores.PLUS it's translucent and WILL NOT make you look "cakey"

Cons:

if you don't use powder after you apply this you may find your skin looks oily

I absolutely recommend this product to anyone with normal or oily skin! This is honestly the only lotion that has ever worked for me. I find most lotions either don't absorb into my skin and just look really oily and disgusting, or they make me break out. This one didn't do neither! If you have dry skin on the other hand, you might find this lotion not moisturizing enough for you. Aswell I don't understand why everyone is complaining about a burning feeling because I didn't feel any burning at all. ALSO THERE'S A COUPON INSIDE THE BOX THAT YOU CAN USE TOWARDS ANY CETAPHIL PRODUCT FOR 2$ OFF

Pros:

- Keeps skin soft and moisturised all day
- SPF 15 (but doesn't leave you shiny)
- Oil- and fragrance-free
- Widely available
- Does not cause breakouts

I bought this on a whim as an alternative to Dan's moisturiser and I'm really glad I did. I have very dry, eczema-prone skin which becomes almost unmanageable during winter. For the past few years I've also become very prone to breakouts all over my face. I've tried many different moisturisers, low and high end, and the one's I've tried either felt heavy / greasy on my skin, left me shiny, or didn't keep me moisturised for more than a few hours. This moisturiser is the only one that keeps me moisturised, lasts all day, contains SPF, does not leave shine and is gentle on sensitive skin. Another benefit I did not expect was how soft it made my skin feel, which was surprising for a product with such a light consistency. I don't feel any burning or stinging when I apply it (maybe because your skin was very dry when you put it on?), and I've been using this daily for a month now. The moisturiser is very effective on its own, but when I have to be outside in the wind and snow for a long time I pat on a few drops of jojoba oil on top as an extra precaution. I recommend anyone with dry, sensitive, and acne-prone skin to give this product a try. I really hope Cetaphil doesn't change the formula because this moisturiser is perfect as it is!

Pros:

I guess it moisturizes your skin a little.

Cons:

-Didn't moisturize my skin fully, skin was still flaky and dry.
-Burns, but not Too extreme. Either way still burns.
-Feels somewhat greasy.

My dermatologist gave me this product to help with my dry skin when I started 10 MG of Accutane daily for about two months. I applied this product morning AND night. It only helped slightly with my dry skin. I would wear makeup over the moisturizer, and you could still see the dry skin/spots/flakes on my face. So, I wound up having to buy an exfoliator and scrub off the visible dry skin with a towel (I know that's bad for your acne, but I wasn't going to walk around with dry spots on my face that was very visible.) A month later I was switched to Spironolactone and Retin-A. Still using Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer. Retin-A is very drying to the skin. This moisturizer still is doing the same - Not moisturizing enough, and I still have dry, visible, flaky skin. I switched to Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Mosturizer. Wish me luck!

Pros:

- moisturizes well

Cons:

- burns at first, but it goes away after a minute
- greasy & shiny-looking skin

When I used this moisturizer for the first time, I thought that it was expired or something because it burned! That never happened before with a moisturizer. I stopped using it for a few days and then I used it again. The burning sensation happened again, but I decided to keep it on to see what happens. It went away after about a minute or so. I have been using it every day for a month now, and the burning sensation only happens every now and then, but it does not cause any other harm. It does a good job of moisturizing. I use it at night because it leaves my skin very soft in the morning. However, I don't like using it during the day because it is a little greasy. It's not the worst moisturizer and I will finish the bottle, but I probably will not purchase it again.
