Pros:

- light, non greasy, yet moisturizing
- fragrance free, with SPF
- calms redness, does not clog pores
- did not make T-zone oily
- good moisturizer for day & night

Cons:

- none that i can think of

I've used this moisturizer from the age of 15 to now being 19. It is an amazing lotion/moisturizer, however when I did have moderately severe acne for a year and 4 months I had to alternate between this lotion and the daily facial moisturizer from spectro jel (for blemish prone skin). Also, several dermatologist have suggested that although the lotion comes with the spf of 15, it's best to put on a sunscreen with spf 25 and up on top of any moisturizer to prevent hyperpigmentation. But overall it's kept my face consistent in terms of having it moisturized and T-zone grease free! I recommend this to anyone who's looking for a good moisturizer.

Pros:

Does it's job - moisturizes
Has SPF
Really is fragrance free

Cons:

It congeals on the pump no matter how careful you are, which makes it this weird globby stuff blocking normal flow of lotion
Is very shiny on areas that tend to be oily for some reason

It is a decent moisturizer that does not clog my pores or irritate my skin; however it does make my nose which is naturally more oily than the rest of my face very very shiny, I mean extremely noticeably shiny. And I don't like using makeup much so that's a very big disappointment. Also like I said in the cons, it congeals when exposed to air and becomes this sticky glob of lotion that feels gross and blocks the pump until you take it off. The SPF feature is excellent though. It's worth a try.

Pros:

Totally love it!

Cons:

For me, none.

I had skin cancer and used this after the surgery, which was on my face. Can barely see the scar and it seems to somewhat fade ageing spots...

Pros:

it's cetaphil!

Cons:

first my face and neck got warm, i got hives on my back(wasn't put on my back!), then couldn't take a deep breath.........

Get some benadryl! I have been using the reg moisturizer forever (for all over) so i thought this would be even better! First came the warmness....i thought, ok, this might be part of the reg feeling, then i noticed a hive on my stomach and saw i had a bunch on my back. a few min later i started needing to clear my throat and couldn't take a deep breath. i didn't have any benadryl and was at home with my two sleeping kiddos. my mom came over right away(1/2 hr later) with benadryl and her epi pen she just got(i didn't need to use it). Funny thing is, i use aveeno facial with spf30 in it, so i don't think is was from the spf unless it was a different kind of spf-idk. scared me there though.

Pros:

- It did its job (kept my skin from dryness)

Cons:

- Very oily
- Left a little residue

The main issue is how oily my face looked. My skin has always been naturally oily but this moisturizer made my skin look like the freaking Sun especially in my forehead. I also felt that it did not properly cover up the BP. Lastly there are times when I forget to wash my hands after moisturizing so if I itch my eyes it burns a lot. I have been on this product for 4 months but plan to switch to the CaraVe lotion asap.

Pros:

-It doesn't require a huge amount to do its job
-Works well to prevent flaky skin from my BP and BHA regimen.
-I can use it on top of my BP mask before I go to sleep to keep skin hydrated
-It has sunscreen to prevent acne caused by the sun.

Cons:

-Smells chemical (as others have stated)
-A little greasy if used too much. I usually put it on my face, wait for it to absorb deep into the skin, and then take a light, damp towel to pat away the oily top layer.
- Makes skin shiny sometimes, but this can be remedied with some water some soft cloth (towel, sweater, etc...)

It works well at preventing my irritation, flakiness, and sandpaper texture caused by BP. It has a slight smell, but I usually forget about it, and it is overpowered by other smells such as my shampoo, soap, deodorant, etc... It's a good buy that will not clog pores, and helps to keep skin look healthy. Well for me at least, try other moisturisers to see what works for you.

Pros:

- Keeps skin soft and moisturised all day
- SPF 15 (but doesn't leave you shiny)
- Oil- and fragrance-free
- Widely available
- Does not cause breakouts

I bought this on a whim as an alternative to Dan's moisturiser and I'm really glad I did. I have very dry, eczema-prone skin which becomes almost unmanageable during winter. For the past few years I've also become very prone to breakouts all over my face. I've tried many different moisturisers, low and high end, and the one's I've tried either felt heavy / greasy on my skin, left me shiny, or didn't keep me moisturised for more than a few hours. This moisturiser is the only one that keeps me moisturised, lasts all day, contains SPF, does not leave shine and is gentle on sensitive skin. Another benefit I did not expect was how soft it made my skin feel, which was surprising for a product with such a light consistency. I don't feel any burning or stinging when I apply it (maybe because your skin was very dry when you put it on?), and I've been using this daily for a month now. The moisturiser is very effective on its own, but when I have to be outside in the wind and snow for a long time I pat on a few drops of jojoba oil on top as an extra precaution. I recommend anyone with dry, sensitive, and acne-prone skin to give this product a try. I really hope Cetaphil doesn't change the formula because this moisturiser is perfect as it is!

Pros:

- moisturizes well

Cons:

- burns at first, but it goes away after a minute
- greasy & shiny-looking skin

When I used this moisturizer for the first time, I thought that it was expired or something because it burned! That never happened before with a moisturizer. I stopped using it for a few days and then I used it again. The burning sensation happened again, but I decided to keep it on to see what happens. It went away after about a minute or so. I have been using it every day for a month now, and the burning sensation only happens every now and then, but it does not cause any other harm. It does a good job of moisturizing. I use it at night because it leaves my skin very soft in the morning. However, I don't like using it during the day because it is a little greasy. It's not the worst moisturizer and I will finish the bottle, but I probably will not purchase it again.
