Pros:

-Cleans face nicely
-No residue

Cons:

-Can burn in situations like sunburn, overly dry skin, etc

This product is a great basic cleanser. I use this every morning and my skin stays fresh and non-oily until the evening. I don't know why people are rating it so low for not clearing acne up because the purpose of this cleanser is just to clean the face- not treat acne.

Pros:

-good wash
-reduces redness of acne
-skin feels smoother

Cons:

-dries out.. a lot

Great facewash, end of story. Visibly has reduced my small acne breakouts within a few hours, i love it. Only problem is that it really dries out skin (i.e. my nose) but that can be controlled with a post-wash moisturizer. Get this.

Pros:

Made my skin feel super smooth and clean after using it. Did not break me out!!! Smell isn't bad at all, i kinda like it!!

Cons:

Doesn't remove heavy makeup, but I dont wear much anyway.

This will not clear acne by itself because its a cleanser, not a treatment; however, it works really well as a cleanser for the acne.org regimen. I have very sensative skin and it does not break me out. It doesn't remove makeup all that well, but for people who dont use a ton of makeup, its perfect. Never used a cleanser before I started breaking out, but even when I clear up completely, I wont stop!

Pros:

It keeps my pores nice and clean, skin less oily,ect.....

Cons:

its dries up fast so i usually put on treatment for the skin right after it dries so the skin is nice and soft.

It is a really good cleanser product and i use it daily.

Pros:

It's inexpensive and super gentle. It helped to keep my skin clear. I have minimal acne so it just helped to keep it clear.

Cons:

Leaves my face not feeling 100% clean. I use a toner after and I could see my makeup on the cotton pad (after i washed my face with cetaphil). And my skin is still a little oily.

It's a great gentle product, helped clear my oily skin a little bit. However, left me with makeup still on my face. I usually wash my face once with cetaphil then i use a TINY drop of Neutrogena acne free wash and then cetaphil again. That seems to work really well for me. And i use a apricot scrub like 1 a week. my skin is smoother, and a little less oily.

Pros:

Cleans well!

Cons:

Leaves face a little tight but if followed with Cetaphil moisturizer tightness disappears

I Love this! i think ppl are getting confused. there are 2 liquid facial cleansers. Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser which is opaque and creamy and is too gentle for the purpose of removing makeup.cetaphil daily facial Cleanser which is clear and better at removing makeup and residue.

Pros:

Did not contribute to breakouts, affordable

Cons:

did not remove my makeup, felt residue after washing

This product just did not remove my makeup. And since removal of all products on your face is important to treatment of acne, I just had to discontinue use of product. This product would be best for someone who wears minimal makeup or someone who does not wear makeup at all.
