Pros:

gentle on skin
nice smell
easy to use
pretty cheap for how much you get

Cons:

dried out my skin
made me break out in a HORRIBLE round of cystic acne!

ok, when i first got on the regiman i was using this, dans bp, and complex 15 moisturizer, and everything was going great! but after a few weeks of that, my skn broke out in about 6 or 7 HUGE cysts! i was in shock, and miserable! i couldnt figure out what was doing this to my skin all of a sudden, cause i have had breakouts of a couple zits around the time of the month, but never any this bad! so i did some research on cetaphil and figured out that a lot of people were having the same problem with it! because of some ingredient that i can't think of the name for! so i immediatly began searching for another cleanser, and came upon alba pineapple enzyme facial cleanser. it was a liiiiittle pricy, but totally worth the cost! it instantly took away the dry skin that cetaphil did, and made my skin soooo soft and smelling amazing! it also has AHA in it, so it actually cleared up my skin and gave me a beautiful complexion! i would DEFFINATLY reccomend the alba pineapple enzyme facial cleanser to anyone!! but the cetaphil one im not so sure i would.... but everyones skin is different so i guess i would give it a try to see what it does to your skin if you have never used it before!

-Doesn't dry out skin.

Cons:

-Doesn't Do Much For Acne
-Smells like cheap purfume and alcohol...

It's a great cleanser for oily skin but I'd never recomend it to someone even with the lightest of acne....

Pros:

VERY gentle so for those with severe acne need not worry. This cleanser does the deed. Does not cause any break outs and believe me when I say this because I have EXTREMELY sensitive skin.

Cons:

The only thing I would suggest is to use a toner right after you wash your face. I wear make up and it doesn't totally wash it all off, but a good toner will help clean what the cleanser couldn't wash off.

I used to have moderately severe acne along my cheeks and chin (still some on my chin from time to time) and my routine of Cetaphil and Dr. Macam's Toner (which I actually have to get shipped out from the Philippines) has really cleared my skin and has made it smooth. It doesn't irritate, although it does dry your skin a bit. Just use a good moisturizer afterwards. No biggie. As for the toner, I found that anything with some kind of lemon extract helps clear up your skin.

Pros:

removes dirt and oil, feels smooth, non-irritating

Cons:

I still break out all the time using this product, but I'd like to note that my breakouts aren't caused by cetaphil...I'm pretty sure they're due to hormones and my over-active oil glands.

Its a great face wash if your skin is oily and sensitive to harsh chemical face washes. It would be wonderful if it could clear acne, but its not a miracle worker!

leaves my skin feeling squeaky clean and smooth
is easy to apply on my face and clears up my acne
it is great for sensitive skin and is also cheaappp!

Cons:

not to keen on the scent it's okay i guess once you get used to it
also a bit drying, but overall it is an AWSOME product! :D

it is great for people who have light to moderate acne so people who have severe acne this will not clear up ALL acne, but it is great for cleansing

This product is the best cleanser I've ever used my acne is mild and skin type is combination/oily. Unlike most cleansers it doesnt make your skin flaky. It leaves your skin smooth and clean.

makes your skin feel very clean

I tried this, and it made me break out like crazy. It doesn't help acne either, but it does make your skin feel clean.

Pros:

Leaves skin so clean and smooth. The cleanser itself feels smooth and spreads easily around your face so the bottle lasts a long time. It smells amazing! I started using it a week ago and my face is already way, way noticabley clear! :)

Cons:

Nothing! :)

IT WORKS. I tried EVERYTHING! I tried all of the clean & Clear products, Neutrogena, Biore, PROACTIVE, Clearasil, EVERYTHING and all of it either didn't work, made my face bright red and hot, or dried my skin out like crazy. Finally after all of these years I have found the answer! THANK YOU CETAPHIL! My sister also uses it and her skin is so flawless! If you have sensitive skin, I would highly suggest this. :)

Cons:

has a weird medicated smell. worked well for the first month, but left skin a bit more oily than the gentle cleanser did. after the first month, started breaking out again. switched back to the gentle cleanser and skin cleared up.

may work for you but make sure to test first.
