Great product. I didn't like the Gentle Skin version because it made me break out. I really like this cleanser because it doesn't dry your face out and it's very easy on the skin. A bit expensive but it's worth it.

I guess it did the job...

Pros:

Gentle
Left my skin soft
relatively cheap

Cons:

Skin didn't feel "clean enough"
Not the best for oily skin, IMO
Have a huge bottle of this stuff that went to waste

I used this cleanser after receiving a Glycolic Peel that seriously damaged my skin. My normal cleanser was leaving my skin too dry and taut, so my esthetician recommended that I try Cetaphil. When using this product, I found that it did the job of getting my makeup off (including eye makeup), but my face felt like it wasn't completely clean. I know that sounds completely contradictory to what everyone says, but that was my personal experience. Almost maybe that it was "too gentle" for my combination/oily skin. On the bright side, my skin felt somewhat soft and didn't have the stripped feeling that other cleansers can cause. I would recommend this for people who are using topical retinol/retinoid, using BP, or on Accutane. Otherwise, I need something a bit more "harsh" and foamy.

Pros:

Does what a cleanser is meant to do..

Cons:

None

Been using this for around two years! I'll never change cleansers. No need to do so. Cleans my face, removes make up pretty well, doesn't sting if you get some in your eyes. Great product!

Pros:

smells good
feels clean and refreshing

Cons:

made me breakout on my forehead

I thought it was going to be a good facial cleanser because a doctor told me about it but it made me breakout more. It was pretty disappointing. It smelled good and it felt very clean and refreshing tough. It didn't dry my skin but it made my face very oily in the morning. IN SHORT, IT DID NOT WORK FOR ME.

Pros:

Soft Skin
No Harsh Smell
Light Feeling
Gentle
Effective

Cons:

Expensive
Can make skin oily if you use too much

I really like this product. It is one of the first that I have found that helps with the severity of my acne. I have been able to downgrade from severe acne to moderate acne with the FAITHFUL use of this product. I think if you were to use it on a sporadic basis, it wouldn't do much good, but if you wash like you are supposed to and use it as a skin care regimine and not as a treatment tool, then I think it is effective. Yes, it is expensive (to me), but it works and I will gladly pay the cost. If you use too much, it can make your skin oily, but one you learn how much to use, I think that can be solved. The only complaint I have is that they don't make a facial scrub or a toner. Other than that, I will continue to faithfully use the Cetaphil line.

Pros:

Cheap
Helped my sensitive but still oily skin skin!!

Cons:

Nothing.

I love it. I have very sensitive combination kinda oily but can get very dry skin and cetephil helps so much. Lots of people say it doesn't help with acne but if I get a zit I don't have to do anything but wash my face with this and its barely there.. great face wash for me!!

Pros:

-Smelled very nice
-Was gentle to skin
-Left skin feeling refreshed
-Affordable

Cons:

-Did not help clear up acne
-Does not help with body acne
-Does not shrink pores

This makes a good facial wash, but you definitely need something more if you want to get rid of your acne.

Pros:

- Gentle skin cleanser, great for sensitive skin
- Pleasant fragrance
- Easy to wash off
- Soap-free
- Prevents future break outs and leaves skin soft
- Affordable

Cons:

- Does nothing for existing break outs (need to use an acne gel for that, like Galderma 2.5% water based acne gel)

I love this product! Its very basic packaging wise but delivers great results.

Pros:

Its cheap, and you can find it almost everywhere.

Cons:

It caused little bumps around my face after about the 2nd week.

It might work for some people but not for me. It actually worked really well at first, cleared my face up, then it just stopped. I started getting little rash like bumps around my face.
