Pros:

Really controls oil
Smooth skin
Moisturizing

Cons:

none

This is great- I have a very very very oily T-zone where no makeup, mattefiers, or oil reducing cleansers keep me oil free. I used Cetaphil and without anything to absorb my oils for at least 5 hours, I was absolutely spotless. This is a live saver!

Pros:

-smooth skin

Cons:

nothing

This product does nothing but wastes space, its such a huge bottle with useless liquid inside. It has done nothing for me! All it did was soften my skin! I dont know why I read these reviews when YOURE ALL OBVIOUSLY LYING. YOU ARE ALL FANTASIZING THE FACT THAT THIS PRODUCT DOES ABSOLUTLY NOTHING FOR ACNE.

Pros:

- Doesn't make acne worse
- Cleans thoroughly
- Easy to use

Cons:

- None!

Basically, I use Cetaphil Oily Skin Cleanser twice a day (morning and night) when I'm sweating a lot and my skin needs a more thorough clean (i.e. summer). I use Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser twice a day (morning and night) in the winter months when my skin is less oily and needs a gentler clean. I find that unless you are really sweaty, the Oily Skin Cleanser tends to dry out your skin, so only use this if you need it. I have noticed that my skin is less oily after I use the Oily Skin Cleanser for a couple of weeks. It doesn't make my acne any worse and definitely cleans skin well. It may not be the best cleanser out there, but it is certainly the best I've ever used.

Pros:

Gentle
Easy to use

Cons:

Contains SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate)
Made acne worse

This cleanser made me break out like crazy, which really surprised me after it was so highly recommended by my dermatologist. Anyone who has unusually sensitive skin, eczema, or an autoimmune disease may want to avoid SLS because it can irritate the skin and make it worse. The same goes for salicylic acid (aspirin).

Pros:

-cleanses your face
-wipes out any dirt
-make skin feel smooth
-makes pimples less visible, but the pimples are still there.

Cons:

-DOES NOT GET RID OF ACNE OR PIMPLES COMPLETELY.
- depending on your skin, it may give you more pimples than you originally had.

-For just regular cleansing, i highly recommend you to buy this brand. It's very helpful and takes away all the oil on your skin. - For acne or pimple treatment. DO NOT BUY THIS. BAD. DOESN'T WORK. PERIOD.

Pros:

Doesnt leave face with a tight or dried out feeling
Really good for sensitive skin
Makes face feel amazing after use

Cons:

Didn't notice any sign of acne getting better
Doesn't do much for my combination skin
This product isnt great compared to Neutrogena or Clinique...

This to me, is just for people with dry or normal skin. It seems to not work well with me and my friends' oily skin because i guess it doesnt clean deep enough. Idk..but after days of use I started to get more pimples with this. Ive had way better luck with products of Neutrogena and immediately switched back after seeing no improvement. For people who are looking for a "miracle product" dont waste your time. The best, in my opinion, are those topical face creams from Differin and the Deep Clean Face Wash from Neutrogena.

Pros:

-helped control oil
-did not overdry my combination skin
-did not irritate already existing acne

Cons:

-did nothing in terms of my acne
-i found under the skin bumps on my forehead after using this

I switched from using a product containing salicylic acid to using a gentle product (Cetaphil) and tried using it for about a month and a half twice a day, however, it actually did nothing for my acne besides make breakouts more severe. I gave it 2/5 because it did help a little bit with oil control but I'm pretty sure you could find a better product that helps fight oil AND acne. It is a good gentle cleanser with those who don't have to fight acne because it just simply cleanses the skin.
