Pros:

This stuff smells clean and goes on pretty easy. clears you up well. Benzoyl Peroxide is benzoyl peroxide, no matter what form it is.

Cons:

stuff can dry you out cuz its 10% but i honestly never had much of an issue. i actually like that it dries it a bit cuz i have oily skin so within 2 hours of use any dryness is gone. the consistency is a little off...its too solid. but thats personal

affordable effective product that reduces existing acne fairly quickly. works well in conjunction with an oral antibiotic. Also, people talk about it "tingling" and going to work on your acne, but if you look at the ingredients, the tingling is caused by menthol (the ingredient in cough drops that causes cooling sensation), which to my knowledge has no effect on acne. so the tingling is just an effect to make you feel like its working but dont get caught up in it. i like it because i live in a dorm and dont want to have the hassle of rubbing lotion on my face for 5 minutes 2 times per day. just once in the shower and once another time and you get your 2x per day BP dose.

Pros:

Helps treat acne. Smooth skin. Helps tone of skin.

Cons:

Burns your skin. The "tingle" you feel isn't pleasant and it drys out skin.

It is an O.K product. It works, but it hurts.

Cons:

My wife has been using this product. After washing her hands and drying them on a towel, it has taken the color out of at least four towels. I was concerned about what is in the product that could be this stong as to take the color out of a towel?

Not sure if it is worth using if it is this strong.

Pros:

Helped clear the acne on my face almost completely. I even stopped getting the occasional cysts I used to have!

Cons:

I still have minor acne around my hairline and nose, but it clears up really fast.

Cleared nearly all of my acne. I always use an astrigent afterwards though, and it really helps.

Pros:

I have tried eveyr product on the market, including prescription Diferin Gel for years, but this product really does the trick for me. It is pretty affordable, $7 a tube where I live, doesn't dry to harsh, and cleared up my acne 90% in 2 months time!

Cons:

BLEACHES AND STAINS FABRIC!! Be careful. As others on these boards have said, the high concentration of Benzoyl Peroxide in this product will bleach and ruin fabrics. One of my nice Polo shirts unfortunately was bleached after it touched my face.

I am 21 and have been on this site since I was about 16 years old struggling with acne. My dermatoligist always told me, "it's just a phase and you will grow out of it!". Well after having acne at the age of 21, I was getting angry and ditched my old routine of using Prescription Differin Gel at night and cetaphil moisturizer and face wash in the morning. I decided to try this product because it had Benzoyl Peroxide, which the owner of this website seems to love. I had pretty moderate acne, not severe with cysts, but definitely not light mild acne. I would get about 10 whiteheads and many bumps on my face consistently and it was frustrating. After using this product for 2 months, it has cleared my acne about 90% and I have noticed great improvement. I definitely reccomend this product. It has worked wonders for me over the past 2 months. It has not cleared up my acne 100%, but definitely about 90% is gone and it has worked great. I just hope it continues to work we

Pros:

Well, it does kill a pimple fast.

Cons:

So freaking drying. At the expense of killing a pimple, leaves the face red.

I'm always nervous to try new products incase of a break out, which is why I'm stuck with this one. I know how my skin reacts to it, and it isn't the best but isn't the worst. See, this product does kill pimples very quickly, but at the expense of DRYING your skin just as quickly. The next day, I'll wake up with a dry patch where the skin was, and not be able to use BP over that spot, which means acne will sometimes reappear. I have mild/moderate acne.
