Pros:

refreshing, works effectively, cool feel

Cons:

doesnt control, slow, bleaches towels

I got this because my dermatologist gave me benzoyl peroxide cream! Since its 10% i thought, awesome a lot! So I bought this and tried it out. It's very refreshing, cooling, and smells kinda nice. People ere are like OMG IT BLEACHES MY STUFF!! well... IF U READ ON THE BACK THAT IT BLEACHES U SHOULD OF BEEN PREPARED!! GOD! So when following the steps i pat my face dry with a white towel. I have very very very bad acne everywhere, every spot on my face. It's slowly going away. EFFECTIVE USE: 1. wash face with hot water 2. message/rub in the product 3. let it sit for 30 seconds 4. any thats left on your face take cold water and massage the rest in 5. then pat face dry with a WHITE towel hope i helped!

Pros:

works quickly
affordable
smells niceclean feeling

Cons:

a little drying.

this is by far the best acne cleanser i've used and i've tried EVERYTHING from drugtore brands to clinique to proactiv and nothing worked as well as this. i had like 6 bumps on all over my face and in one day there was only 1 and it was barely noticeable! just in time for the fourth too! I will continue buying this! The only thing is it can be a tad drying but it is nothing a mouisterizer can't take care of1

Pros:

It makes your face feel really fresh and it clears most of your red pimples/pores. just be aware that you must have moderate-severe acne.

Cons:

for some people, they can get irritated and cause dryness

for people who struggle with bad acne, like me

Pros:

works quickly, controls oil from returning if you have a face that looks like an oil slick within an hour of washing your face

Cons:

it can be a little drying if used with additional 10%BP for spot treatment breakouts, can cause a little redness

i use this product @ night and depending on how dry/not dry my face looks in the morning, i will use it again or subsitute with clean & clear oil free daily pore cleanser which softens my skin. i also use some oil of olay lotion for sensitive skin for dry areas. i am 29 years old and had the infrequent light breakouts while growing up- nothing major, but just this year began experiencing cysts around my chin which are ridiculously embarrassing and take forever to go away. it really effects my professional life where i work directly with people. i have tried EVERYTHING and found anything w/ salicylic acid makes my skin worse. i was using purpose prior to the clean and clear which worked great until the cysts began then i needed something stronger. since using this product, i haven't experienced any cysts!

Pros:

Works fast, clean feeling, clean smell, keeps working.

Cons:

None

This is the only product I have used in the past 6 years that has cleared up my acne. Since I started using this I have only had a few light blemishes that disappear within a day or so. I used to have at least 10 different spots on my face at one time some so painful it hurt to smile, right now there are none and it no longer hurts to move my face, the scars are even going away. After 6 years of literal pain and worry I found something that works. I only use it once a day so it doesn't dry out my skin.

Pros:

Dries up acne/pimples, works fast. Really does work on or for moderate to severe acne!

Cons:

Dries out skin, may/does cause eye irritation (hard to keep away from your eyes), skin irritation to other skin areas that it touches (like neck)

I was using the DK wash for almost a year - when I started to suddenly start getting acne (yes, acne - HUGE cystic pimples) in spots on my face where I would NEVER get acne. I started thinking that 1) my face got used to DK's wash, 2) they changed something in the wash (I had just ordered new wash), 3) my face was getting oily-er and maybe I needed a wash with medicine/or stronger. I stopped using DK's wash and switched over to this for a month - honestly, within 2 days - my zits were drying up and clearing up. HOWEVER, I have used it for a month now, and it is EXTREMELY strong - 10% benzoyl peroxide is VERY strong to use twice a day, every day. After 2 weeks, my eyes started to get so irritated, I couldn't wear contacts in them, the skin around them was getting so dried out from the wash (and using DK's treatment.) I switched back to DK's wash but I noticed that it wasn't getting my skin as clean as this product so here's a good medium: MIX a dab of this in your palm with DK's

Pros:

Gets rid of acne faster than you could believe!

Cons:

Nothing.

In no more than two-to-three days my acne started to disappear. Now my monster pimple is also starting to dry up and vanish. It works so instantly!!!!! =] But then again, for others, it may not. It all depends on skin type.

1. Works well
2. Doesn't dry out my skin
3. Effective

Cons:

NONE

I have blemishes and acne on my cheeks, forehead, nose, and chin. I've used this product for about 3 days and I've noticed such a difference. My acne and blemishes are subsiding and the redness has vanished. However, if your skin gets dry use St. Ives Apricot Scrub on your face after you use this acne product. Remember to scrub your entire face really hard because it takes away all the dry skin. I always use my palms to scrub my face because it works amazingly!
