Pros:

Did not worsen acne

Cons:

Too many to list, but overall, there was nothing good about this product

Completely unsatisfied with this new 'improved' formula. It smells and feels like sunscreen. If I wanted that, then I would go out and purchase sunscreen. While I did not notice an increase in breakouts, it did irritate my skin on contact and left me with a red face. In fact, the new ingredients are so irritating that my eyes actually burned a little. This product couldn't be further from the original formula which is unfortunate since the classic was light, moisturing, refreshing, AND provided protection from incidental sun exposure. What more coud you ask for? Well, I don't know, maybe to return to the original formula! A total thumbs down for Olay. I did contact them and although they offered me a coupon they 'acted' shocked that I did not like the new formula despite the dozens of negative reviews on their own website. I will repurchase the original forumula if they ever come out with it. They said it would be available in April, but it's not yet on the shelves. A total lose-lose, but if you are new to the product I wouldn't let this deter you from purchasing the ORIGINAL formula when it comes back out because that product was a win-win. Glowing skin and sun protection!

Pros:

Cons:

I used the product since I was 19. It was recommended by my dermatologist. Worked well until they added new active ingredients. I didn't know what was happening to my face until I read the difference. Unreal. I look sunburned. Thought I was having another acne flare up. Ended up finding the old oil of olay active ingredients in the CVS sensitive skin SPF15. (right next to the oil of olay sensitive that used to be for sensitive skin)

Very upset that oil of olay changed the product I was using for 13 years. I started breaking out, getting burnt, flaking skin.

Pros:

The ONlyLYRO is that OLAY is bringing back the original formula. As far as I am concerned it "wasn't broke so why fix it"?

Cons:

left me with greasy skin; burned around nose; and caused 2 very nice and painful pimples... i think you forgot that the users of the original item sought it out specifically becuz of the sensitive skin problems.

WHERE CAN I FIND THE ORIGINAL formula for sensitive skin NOW???? (and does anyone want my "new formula" stuff?)

Pros:

Nothing anymore..

Cons:

Ditto what the others have said about the new formula

I tried the generics of the old formula (target brand, walmart brand, CVS brand) and all of them are great for sensitive skin, but the moisturizing capabilities just aren't there. Switching to a new brand.

Pros:

Used to be a great product - but not at the moment.

Cons:

The new formula contains Avobenzone which caused me to have a HUGE cystic breakout after 1 use. However...there's hope in the future

From the Olay corporate website. "I would like to share with you that we recently decided to relaunch our Original Sensitive version. Although our newest formula with Skin shield technology is safe and has strong UV protection, we realize the original sensitive version with its gentle formula better meets the needs of our Complete Sensitive users. The original version will be widely available in April 2010 and will say 'Classic Gentle Formula'. Hope this helps!"

Pros:

Unfortunately I haven't found any pros.

Cons:

My face is red and very itchy. It feels as though I have been sunburnt and the light acne that I have has flared up since using this product.

Before trying this product I regularly used Olay Complete All Day Moisture Lotion SPF 15 for combination skin. The formula for combination skin is a wonderful product and a pleasure to use. I thought this one for sensitive skin would be even better as it would provide more moisture for my skin as it gets older and would have a nice cooling effect. Totally the opposite! I wouldn't have considered myself to have sensitive skin and yet I've had a negative reaction to this so something is obviously not right. Too many chemicals perhaps? I've read that the formula has been changed which is very disappointing as the old formula sounded wonderful and more suited to those with sensitive skin.

Pros:

None at all

Cons:

The new formula is NASTY - contains Avobenzone and BURNS your skin

I'm so upset that Olay changed the ingredients for this moisturizer. The old formula was absolutely amazing and made my skin beautifully soft and clear. The new formula makes me break out, leaves my skin red and feels really heavy on the skin. It's like a think nasty sunscreen rather than a more fluid moisturizing lotion. I wish Olay would bring back the old formula!

Pros:

None

Cons:

Made my face red
Dried out my skin

There are better alternatives out there for pure zinc oxide products. Look up devita or solar rx.

Cons:

Beakouts.

The new formula is horrible. I have been using Oil of Olay since I was 13, I am now 23 and have never had a problem with it. I bought a new bottle two weeks ago and all of a sudden I have a huge break out. 4 cysts at one time is unusual for me. It burns when I apply it and it smells like straight sunscreen. DO NOT BUY THE NEW FORMULA.
