Pros:

Cheap
Smells Nice
Does not cause acne
Feels nice on skin
Soothes skin
Gives skin a nice texture and glow

Cons:

Does not come in a pump to prevent contamination

I am 36 and have struggled with acne my whole life. But as I get older and my skin gets drier and duller, I feel torn between preventing acne and nourishing my skin. I started using this product about two weeks ago in a desperate measure to prevent wind-burn on my face while I run outside in the winter. (I would rub it on and then not wipe it off until after my run). I was so shocked that it did not cause acne that I continued using it as a cleanser. I dip a clean q-tip into the jar each time to get the product out because I do not want to contaminate the contents (that may cause acne) and I rub it all over my face, neck and chest. Then I wipe it off with a warm, wet washcloth. Afterward, I use a toner on my chin, nose, and forehead to prevent acne and then follow-up with sunscreen in the morning and anti-aging cream at night. I have been doing this morning and night and have not used soap on my face at all for two weeks. I am hesitant to say it has cleared my acne because my acne cycles in and out so it is too soon to tell. But can can say with total confidence that this prodcut has not CAUSED me any acne and has left my skin looking clearer and brighter that it ever has. I dare to say this product is almost too good to be true, except that so far it is true. Do not be afraid to try this product, even if you struggle with acne. So far it seems to be the only way to clean and nourish my skin while still preventing acne. I am pretty excited about it.

Reduces red marks left from acne
Reduces size of pores
Inexpensive
Smells Great

Cons:

Absolutely Nothing!

This is the BEST product I have used on my face EVER! I've always had sensitive skin, but for years, it was. A "breakout" was when I would get one zit on my chin; however, over the last 2 years, my skin starting changing, and my breakouts started to become more frequent and severe. I'm 22, and I started to notice that my face was feeling dry and looking older. About a month ago my face freaked out, and I had zits galore, including a cyst on my cheek-a place I NEVER get pimples, so I knew I had to change my routine. My mother said my grandmother used Ponds for years and always had beautiful skin,so I figured I had nothing lose and tried it. Instantly, my face felt rejuvenated! There was no more tightness after cleansing my face, and it felt cleaner than ever. I noticed a difference after 1 night, and the cyst on my cheek went away in 3 days! This is amazing if you know anything about cystic zits as they usually take WEEKS to go away. The first week that I used it, it brought a pimple that had been under the skin for months to the surface and removed it within days. After 3 weeks of using it, I am absolutely obsessed, and my face has never looked or felt better. Friends are constantly commenting on how radiant my skin looks and asking me for my secret! I have already converted 3 of them, and so far they love it too! I rub a good amount on my face at night and a small amount in the morning, removing it with a damp washcloth. If I go out at night, I use the Ponds after I shower and apply my makeup as usual. It leaves my face looking and feeling fresh and not greasy in the least! If you use this product, I would not recommend using additional moisturizers. I think this is where people may go wrong & complain about greasy skin. This product is sufficient in itself as a moisturizer. Since starting this produ[link edited out] my skin has cleared, and I hav

Pros:

Take off make-up well (about 90%)
Smells wonderful
Lasts for a long time
Pretty little jar
Moisturizes as well

Cons:

Can be little too greasy (oily) so I use warm wet cotton pad afterwards to remove the cream, and sometimes it takes a while to do that
Have to use toner afterwards to remove the rest of the make up

Its very gentle and moisturizng, so it is good for dry skin, however I wouldnt recommend for oily skin type. Might be difficult to remove the cream afterwards so I use wet cotton pad. However, some people do not waash it off as they use it as a night cream too. It was very cheap and does not make me break out as it doesnt contain any sulfates, parabens or soy proteins that usually break me out easily.

Pros:

Gets rid of acne, makes skin uniformly soft and smooth.

Cons:

NONE!

Believe it or not, I'M A GUY! I'm 46 years old and have had trouble with acne since I was a teen. As I grew older, my skin went from oily to a combination of oily and dry patches. About two years ago, I started using a soap that contained cold cream, and found it to be the best thing I had ever used. I started wondering how Ponds cold cream would work, so I tried it and have had near perfect skin ever since! Every night before I go to bed I rub the cold cream into my face, remove it with a warm washcloth, and voila! soft, moist, zit-free skin. It even soothes razor burn! To all my fellow men out there: swallow your pride and try it; it can be your own little secret!

Pros:

It works!
Gets rid of acne.
Makes my skin brighter and smoother.
Helps reduce appearance of acne scars and dark spots with continous use.
No more tight, dry, flaky skin.
Skin feels refreshed and clean and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin.
CVS drugstores have their own version thats the same but less expensive.

Cons:

Thought it was a little pricey because I'm on a tight budget but when used properly the jar lasts a long time.
Takes getting used to not have a lather like most face cleansers but when used correctly it doesn't leave a greasy feel. I wipe off with warm wash cloth, tone then moisterize.

I highly recommend this product! I have used so many acne products including Proactive, Meaningful Beauty, dermatologist recommended products etc. I always ended up with irritated, dry, flaky skin with painful acne breakouts. I noticed a huge difference after using this the first time and combined with witch hazel as toner and their dry skin cream after that. My flaky spots were gone, redness went away, and my acne started to clear up after 3 days. I am 24 and suffer from adult acne. I have sensitive skin with large pores, constant breakouts and dry areas. Who knew using a cream based clenser would work best for my skin type. Even Cetaphil irritated my skin. I am so pleased, just give it a try.

I like this because it works! But I rather just use regular extra virgin olive oil instead.

Pros:

None

Cons:

Causes terrible breakouts

I hadn't had a breakout in two years, had to grab a drug store brand makeup remover because I unexpectedly ran out and ended up using this until it ran out maybe a month or two later. This reminds me of why I don't use drug store products. This caused a breakout so bad that I have had to see three dermatologists, and now have scarring and hyperpigmentation all over my face and was referred to another doctor to have laser treatments to fix my skin. IF YOU VALUE YOUR SKIN DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT!

Pros:

Creamy/smooth & feels good putting it on
Nice smell
Very cheap/affordable
Lasts a long time
Great for taking off makeup

Cons:

Leaves residue
Can create new breakouts
Not a lasting solution
Not great as a moisturizer.

I started using Ponds cold cream after reading reviews on a different site mentioning that someone's grandmother had used it as a night time moisturizer and her skin looked fabulous at age 80. People were also saying it worked to moisturize and get rid of acne. I put this on before bed every night and for the first month or so, all of my acne was gone... and i mean ALL of it. Cystic acne, blackheads, whiteheads & regular pimples. For the first couple weeks, my skin was unreal (I've had moderate acne ever since I was 13.) After a few weeks, pimples started showing up all over my face, worse than before. I still use this cream as a moisturizing eye makeup remover, but I always wash it off. My face is just too oily to use it as anything more.
