Pros:

I had bacne for a long time now. I would tell anyone to use this for your back! My bacne is just about gone after 3 weeks! For my face, however, I apply it at night, and my face feels really oily, but I think it's slowly working

Cons:

Like I said, very oily and at night it sticks to my pillow, but after 3 weeks, it's slowly working. Just be patient and don't use it in the morning.

If you don't mind your skin being a little oily for a few hours, I guess you can try this. I would say you should use it at night rather than day. But like I said, I used it for my back, with epiduo in the morning, and I got amazing results! My face is still questionable, because I use ziana at night, and epiduo in the morning. But Everyone will get different results I guess. Good luck!

Pros:

Evened out my skin tone, cleared up my skin really fast, and is super-easy to use. One 60g tube will last for MONTHS. Made my skin less oily too.

Cons:

Some dryness and redness, especially if you don't use sunscreen and moisturizer.

I went to the dermatologist after using OTC and department-store brands for years. This was the first thing prescribed, and it's working wonderfully for me! I've been using it for just over two weeks and have seen significant improvement in my skin in that period of time. I have gotten a small break out since starting the Ziana, but it's healing quickly. You definitely have to make sure you use a moisturizer and sunscreen when using this! I forgot my moisturizer one day, which has SPF 30 sunscreen in it and was recommended by my derm, and my skin was exceptionally dry and ended up very red as a result. Sometimes at night when putting it on my cheeks will sting or feel tight, but just make sure to only use a SMALL pea-sized amount and the side effects won't be too bad. I also received a prescription savings card from my derm when she gave me the prescription, though even with my insurance this would be much more affordable than the retail price of $394!

Pros:

To early to tell

Cons:

Very EXSPENSIVE!!! Skin is incredibly oily.

Today make on week and so far no dramatic results. In the past Duac and Tretinoin worked wonders but I am seeing a derm and prescribed ziana first. So, well shall see and I will keep you posted.

Pros:

non

Cons:

greasy, ineffective

i don't know what type of acne ziana is targeted for, but my dermatologist prescribed it to me for the moderate cystic acne on my chin and cheeks. i used it consistently for for about three months and saw literally no improvement. it is also unbelievably expensive for a non-antibiotic topical (about 75.00 per tube, with my insurance).

Pros:

The manufacturer lets you try it for free.

Cons:

Didn't do anything for me except make me oilier.

It's a very unappealing gel that you put on at night. Then you wake up in the morning looking super oily and gross.

Pros:

Reduced blemish size
Reduced redness
Worked fast

Cons:

Made skin extremely dry
Smells bad
Gave me a chemical burn( my fault)
Not gentile at all

For a prescription acne medication I feel it falls under par due to it's side effects. It makes the skin flaky and doesn't look good at all. Being a guy I don't wear coverup or anything so it looks just as bad as the zits. Made my face really red too for some reason. Try something else before using this, something gentler.

Pros:

Simple application
Cheap

Cons:

Irritating
Drying/scaling
Extream purging
Not effective

I had used this because my previous prescriptions weren't working as well as normal, so I visted my derm and she recommended I try Ziana. The resultes were devestating, I went in for very, very mild acne, and traded it for a case moderate acne covering my entire face. It was not only frustrating, but both physically and emotionaly painful. I couldn't sleep on my side, smile, eat, talk, sneeze or even laugh without being reminded of my acne, the constant trobbing even disrupted my sleep. Finally I did find something that worked, a combonation of Tazorac gel and Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo, my face has much improved, and I will never take my skin for granted again.
