Pros:

I can't believe my skin looks great. I tried everything. In my early 20's I used accutane and in my 30's my acne came back and Ziana cleared it and it looks great.

Cons:

it takes about three months before you see any results. Stick with it. My face got worse before it got better. I am so glad I stuck with Ziana.

It took about three months for it to work. It cleared up my face and the texture of my face is nice and it looks good. It works but you need to stick it out. Don't give up.

Pros:

IT REALLY WORKS. CLEARS UP SKIN & EVENS SKIN TONE. SKIN LOOKS BEAUTIFUL.

Cons:

TAKES ABOUT 2 1/2 WEEKS TO SEE RESULTS. SKIN GOT WORSE BEFORE BETTER. SKIN VERY VERY OILY.

I am amazed how well it works. Wish I would have found this years ago. FYI - After 2 weeks my face was a mess. Everything had come to the surface and I was so oily. I couldn't take it, so I went for a facial (extraction and fruit acid peel) AMAZING. Best decision. It made a huge difference. This dried it out and removed all the clogged pores. My skin has never looked better. Very pleased. OH, YEAH - I always mix a pea size amount of Ziana with double the size amount of moisturizer in my palm before applying it. That was a recommendation by my doctor.

Pros:

Makes my skin very smooth, with very little peeling. One tube will last a long time.

Cons:

My skin has gotten very oily from using this product. Takes a long time to clear the skin completely. It is pretty expensive too. I have good insurance, but I know not everyone does.

I have been using three weeks and my skin is starting to shape up. When I was using OTC products my skin looked dead and dry. I am 31, and OTC products made my fine lines look very exagerated. Now my skin has a very lovely glow and tone to it, and my fine lines are reduced. I look much younger in just a matter of weeks. The number of new breakouts is reduced; my old breakouts are still healing though. I am sticking with this and hopefully this will get my skin clear. I have been washing with Cetaphil liquid, using Ziana at night, and in the morning using a product prescibed to me called Inova, which are BP and SA pads. I am also on an oral antibiotic. I think the most important thing to remember is to only use a pea sized amount of Ziana. I bet some of the harsh peeling some people have encountered is due to putting too much on the face at one time. I have had very minimal peeling. I think this product is great for people in their 30s.

Pros:

Works great with my skin. only need a small amount (pea size)

Cons:

First week of treatment acne was bad. $96 small $260 large tube (only need the small) with insurance and a $35 coupon from the Dr.

Before I started Ziana I was following the steps of the Regimen recommended from acne.org. It was working ok but not the results I was looking for. So I wet to the DR. and that is when I started to get on Ziana. I quite using the Regimen treatment and followed the Ziana directions step by step. WK1: Face was looking good at the beginning of the week. Old acne bruises were clearing up. Then broke out bad towards the end. (deep cleansing i guess) WK2: Face trying to clear the acne up. Each morning looks promising. No new breakouts. WK3: Fell more confident about pulling my hair back. Only one break out. Face looking great. Old brown spots going away WK4: Around my menstrual cycle. Broke out once (one pimple) and just 2 small white heads . (thats ok) My face still looks great. WK5: happy and still going strong Notes that might help:( MY skin type)- olive, (Age)-26 battling acne for 5 years (cleanser)-Cetaphil (moisturizer)-olay

Pros:

Clear skin!

Cons:

Expensive if your insurance doesn't cover it

After 10 zitful years, this is what finally, completely cleared up my mild-moderate acne. Unfortunately, if I miss a dose or two, I'll break out again. Still, this has worked wonders where Accutane failed. (I just want to add that I did NOT become depressed from using Accutane.) As a bonus, I've experienced no side-effects from this ointment. My skin can take a beating, though, so take that with a grain of salt if you have sensitive skin. Anyway, if you can afford it, I highly recommend Ziana. Try to get some samples from your dermatologist so you can see if it works for you. I know it's incredibly cheesy, but even mild acne so hurts my self-esteem that I have to say it: Ziana changed my life!

Pros:

Clears skin

Cons:

Expensive

I was prescribed Ziana after trying Differin and Retin A Micro. I used Retin A Micro for six months and only saw my face get worse. Ziana is a mixture of Retin A and an antibiotic. I apply Ziana nightly after washing my face with 10% Benzoyl Peroxide wash. Either the Ziana or the Benzoyl Peroxide bleached my pillow case. Despite this, I do not care because the Ziana has cleared my skin. I struggled with mild to moderate acne for years. Just the other day my coworker told me that my skin looks perfect. I am extremely pleased with the results. I cannot believe it is me in the mirror. It took about four weeks for the product to clear my forehead.

Pros:

Helps clear up large inflamed zits

Cons:

unbelievably drying and sooo harsh!

My skin is not usually sensitive at all and I have used other retinoids in the past such as tazorac. But this stuff tore apart my face. I followed the directions exactly but after a couple of days my face became so dry that it started to crack! I felt like I was wearing a facial mask for about a week and my skin was as red as a tomato! It hurt so much and I couldn't even go out of the house my skin looked and felt so terrible. I called the derm and he told me to switch to only using it every 3 days and slowly work up to using it every day. Although the irritation has subsided quite a bit it is still making a mess of my face even though it's been nearly a month!!! I only really have a couple of zits left but my skin still looks horrendous because this stuff has left marks that look and feel like burns!!! I'm so afraid they are going to scar! I was so much better off before this. I'd rather have some zits than what looks like chemical burns.....

Pros:

Works Very Well
Fast Acting
Small Amount Needed
Easy Application

Cons:

Can Be Expensive
May Dry Skin

I am a firm believer in Ziana Gel! I have struggled with acne since High School and this is a great product. Ziana combined with my other products have cleared up my skin completely. Within a week I noticed my skin was not only acne free, but also was firmer and healthier looking. I applied Ziana Gel as directed after washing my face before bedtime with BP Cleansing Wash (another GREAT, but expensive product). The glow my skin had after a while was surprising and noticed by others so I know its a big improvement. Overall a wonderful product I wish I knew about years ago. The only issue may be slight drying if applying too much; very little will go a long way. I have been using a little over a month and I've hardly dented the tube. I know this can be expensive, especially without insurance, but many Docs will give you a discount card (I got mine free!) so definitively ask for one.
