Pros:

Gets rid/reduce the big pimples. Easy to use (only nights before bedtime). Nice consistency, not sticky or gooey or funny smelling. I got a sample product free from the doctor.

Cons:

Does not get rid of all the pimples (mainly the tiny ones are difficult to get rid of)

Pretty good, much better than the pharmacy acne creams that only contain benzyl peroxide. The clindamycin does well on killing bacteria which isn't included in the other acne creams available at the pharmacy.

Pros:

really clears up acne. gets rid of oil. reduces redness.

Cons:

really really drying at first. for the first month i was red and peeling. lotions burned and i was so dry my skin was cracking and bleeding, it took about 4 weekd for my skin to adjust and im not longer dry to that extent.

i no longer wear any concealer or foundation, my skin is totally clear. it works if you can make it through the first month of dry peely skin. get it!

Pros:

Gets rid of whiteheads or small blemishes

Cons:

Seems to prolong the recovery of cystic acne

It does make your skin smooth and clears up small whiteheads, not so much on cystic acne. Non drying.

Pros:

Getting rid of spots and blackheads

Cons:

Excessive drying on chin with redness and peeling

Only using 2 weeks and have stopped on and off due to redness. Lots of forums say stick with it so will try for another few weeks

Pros:

works great! saw a difference almost overnight! cleans and tightens pores and evens out skin tone.

Cons:

makes my eyes and nose burn after applying. kind of pricey -- 30 dollars - my co-pay is only 10 dollars with all other prescriptions.

as for the drying---try using a buff puff, wash cloth or other exfoliating method to reduce the flaking. you need to get rid of the dead dry skin rather than try and moisturize it away!

Pros:

Clears up acne within two weeks, prevents future acne if used regularly, doesn't irritate my sensitive skin as much as many other acne products

Cons:

Still causes mild dry skin/flakiness, bleaches washcloths, burns if applied too much or to very sensitive skin

I have light acne so I never really thought had that great a need for a prescription product, but this stuff works wonders! I had numerous small pimples in my "T-Zone" and this cleared them up quickly and has kept them at bay. However, it does require extra moisturizer to prevent my skin from getting flaky and will burn if I get it anywhere on my "sensitive skin" (I have combination skin). The only other problem is that not being able to put it on my more sensitive skin (like my cheeks) has allowed for the occasional pimple to pop up. This product still is amazing and I would definitely recommend it! Just remember to use it regularly and with sunscreen as it can make your skin more susceptible to the sun.
