Pros:

Results overnight! The only product that has addressed my problems with CYSTIC acne positively. I am currently using it all over, but hopefully I can just spot treat down the road because it feels a little much. I worry about building up immunity.

Cons:

My skin itches horribly from the dryness in some areas! I have used a ton of lotion since I started using this product. I have really sensitive skin, so I combined it with an all natural, heavier moisturizer, like Aveeno and some hydrocortisone.

After years of problem skin and wasted money on products like Clinique, Murad, Proactive, Boscia, everything make this product worth every penny. The dryness is typical of any skin product with benzoyl peroxide. I am enthusiatic, but I am proceeding with caution. the body works in mysterious ways.

Pros:

Works 100%

Cons:

Skin drying, peeling, red skin, burning too at first

It just works but must be patient.. its like a miracle within the bottle...

Pros:

Does Clear acne fairly quickly

Cons:

over use and prolonged use can make skin very sensitive and irritated.

I have used benzaclin for 6 years now. My biggest thing is do not ever go tanning with it on. I went tanning with benzaclin on for like three years and my face was clear and tan but then after those few years my face doesn't tan anymore it scars more easily, and i have to use benzaclin in very small amounts or my face will be bright red and itchy. So don't tan it tells you not to but i was just stupid and did anyway. Seriously though benzaclin is the only thing that has ever worked for my face so do try it! GOOD LUCK!

Cons:

I have been using for a month now and have more pimples now then I did when I started. I am an adult and never had acne until I had my son. This cream is drying, and does not work. I have been faithful and followed directions too.

For the cost I do not see it as worthy of my money!! I have never had such bad skin since I paid so much for the prescription. NOthing like getting worse from the medication

Pros:

Works great, you see results right away! It's covered by my insurance plan so I'm not sure of the cost in my area.

Cons:

A bit drying at first - my skin is very oily so this isn't a problem (in fact, I use it along with another drying product, Brevoxyl cleanser), but even with my skin there was some flaking at first.

I absolutely love this stuff. I am 39 and have suffered from very oily skin and cystic acne since I was 16. Every so often I try to go without it but the whiteheads, blackheads, and cysts pop right back up. This product has an impact right away and it's great to see it reduce even stubborn cysts.

Pros:

it did get rid of some of my pimples

Cons:

it dries up my skin really bad

my dermatologist gave me this as a prescription medication for my acne which was last saturday. I paid her about an estimate of $40.00 as a total for the duac and the soap and the check-up. After 2 weeks of use im gonna meet her and then she will give me new prescriptions if the duac doesn't work and would give me a free facial. Wow!!! but after these few days i really have an improvement on my face and i love it. It was a bit pricey but it was worth the cash.

Pros:

I haven't experience any.

Cons:

I've used this for eight weeks now and my skin has broken out more than ever. I expected it to get worse before it got better, but so far it hasn't gotten better. My doctor told me to keep using it, but now my face is red and burns.

It doesn't work for everyone.

Pros:

Works fast! After just a weeks use my acne had cleared up a lot, and after several weeks, my acne was pretty much gone!

Cons:

Dry's skin and made my face a little redder. Just use a good moisturizer and your set.

This product works! Treats acne well, and PREVENTS new acne. Keeps your skin clear! Besides the few minor side effects this product is great for mild to moderate acne. I highly suggest this medication to any acne suffer.

Pros:

it works, prevents more pimples from forming. this product isn't to get rid of your pimples it is to get the future pimples from coming, and it does this job very well. Don't use on certain parts where it seems to react differently (red mini-pimples)

Cons:

it works well on recent blemishes but it takes many many months to see the results of the reduction of scars on the face.

i have been using this for almost a year now, I was hesitant but i decided to give it a shot (this was and is the only product i have used on my face besides soap)i to used it on my whole face, and this was good except that the places where i usually don't get pimples (forehead and nose, was clear) i got really tiny red bumps on, like mini-pimples. i kind of freaked out a bit but thought that since it worked on the rest of my face my nose and forehead were just getting used to it. so i just kept using it on my whole face including nose and forehead but i saw that no this is not the case because i think the pimples were getting worse(more mini-pimples) so i stopped using it on my nose anf forehead but use it everywhere else on my face and it took a while for the mini-pimples to go away it reduced day after day but it took about a month for it to really clear up. now i use it regularly (most of the time) and after a few months (3-4) i saw that my old scars were going to (yay!)
