Pros:

expensive

Cons:

dries out and makes flaky
did not dry out acne, just skin
did nothing for acne
did not make acne better
hurt my skin

My skin is pretty sensitive. Hoping it would do some good for my acne, I took the risk and bought it. At first, it really over dried my skin, but I hoped it would dry out my acne later. It didn't, just my skin... It's expensive and didn't work. I wouldn't say it made my acne worse though. I was just hoping for some change :(

Pros:

-Works best as spot treatment

Cons:

-Didnt help prevent breakouts
-Doesnt do anything for hyperpigmentation

Duac is definitely more effective than any OTC products you can buy, but for more severe acne (such as ones that leave marks like mine) there are much more effective acne prescriptions out there that will help. I used Retin-A Micro after Duac and personally had the much better results with that. However, it is important to atleast try Duac for a month or so first to see if it works for you. I definitely think those with more mild forms of acne should give Duac a shot.

Pros:

got ride of my cysts on my forhead in like 1 WEEK or less that i can remembre...also improved marks and scabs fell off within 2 days :D

Cons:

dried out my face a little but hardly at all...and id rather have a bit of dry skin then pimpless :}

i was about 12 years old when my docter percribed this for my face and well it worked amazing. and about 2 months of useage i stopped it and my face kept clear for about another year or so. Then i started getting moderate acne but wasent half as bad as what i had before, though it still bothered me so i went back to the docter to get some more and i forgot the name of the cream so i told her the white cream and then she said she new what i wanted. WEll she didnt lol she gave me the wrong cream. The cream she gave me was clindosol and it never really worked as well as benzaclin..also i still thought i was using the benzaclin lol Now im 16 with moderate acne still..and its gotten kinda worse then it has been in the last year. I would only get maybe 1-3 pimples on my face now its just bad So when i was cleaning the other day i found the bottle that the benzaclin came in and i read it and well i was kinda PISSED though kinda relieved xDso imma go get the right cream and see if it works xD

Pros:

Definitely helps to dry out acne and pretty affordable

Cons:

drys out skin quite a bit so a moisturizer is needed for problem areas

I would recommend duac for spot treatment so don't over apply or dryness will defiantly be an issue. I have oily skin and this stuff is somehow capable of drying it out. I've been using the it for over two years and it's worked better than everything else i have tried, and believe me... i've been through my fair share of acne product nightmares

Cons:

Slow result. Dries up skin.

It's worth to get it, better than those over the counters.

Pros:

skin cleared up after about 3 weeks

Cons:

a little dryness

i have sturggled witb acne for 4 years- it's just something that i thought would always be there. A few years ago i was prescribed benzaclin, but never REALLY used it properly (skipping nights, not washing my face, touching my face too much.) When i was re-prescribed it a few months back, i decided i was going to get my money's worth. After about three weeks, my skin had gone from acne oily and gross, to smooth, clear anf only the occasional pimple or two that was easily covered up. This product has changed my life completely and im never going to stop using it!!!

Pros:

It really does work!!! I went from irritated, oily, acne covered skin to clear, soft, smooth skin! It works overnight and it works fast. Within a month, my acne had improved drastically. Benzaclin worked better than ProActiv or any other acne system.

Cons:

It made my face dry when I applied it, but that's what a moisturizer is for!

If you ahve acne that just won't go away, get BenzaClin. I works fast and affectively, and it saves you time and money. For 3 years I battled with acne and from ProActiv and Neutrogena to Clean and Clear and Clinique, nothing worked but this.
