Pros:

Works so quickly and keeps your skin clear!! Saw results within a couple of days.

Cons:

Stains EVERYTHING! I use this on my face and chest and I can't use colored pillowcases at night or wear bright colored clothes unless I wash the cream completely off. It also dries up your skin quite a bit.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND trying this product, the only real annoying thing for me is that it has stained a lot of my pillowcases and shirts. It was definitely worth it though because before I tried this, my face looked terrible- I would wake up almost daily with new pimples. My face is now almost completely clear. I've tried Retin-A, AcneFree, Proactive, and multiple prescription pills with no success and this has worked wonders. I LOVE IT!!! If you try this cream though, make sure you have insurance or it'll cost you around $450 out of pocket. With my health insurance, it only costs $15.

Pros:

I saw results in only a few days! It was great!

Cons:

Dried out my skin.

It was just what I needed! I had been using ProActiv before for more than a year or so and it was not working, I had horrible acne on my forehead and when I was introduced to Benzaclin, it all went away! But the dryness is sort of a problem since I've been using it for more than a year, but I guess since my skin is originally very sensitive it doesn't matter for how long I've used it. To get rid of the dryness, I use Cetaphil and it makes my skin smooth. An occasional zit forms, but they're very small and I can get rid of them overnight! And I've been using the 150g bottle and it's perfect! It lasts exactly a year for me.

My acne scars are fading.

Cons:

The price+your skin gets a little dry, but I don't mind.

I use Benzaclin with Differin and Benzaclin has helped A LOT with my acne marks on my back..i can't wait until they're all gone so I can finally wear those cute tank tops :]

Pros:

Clears up skin eventually

Cons:

takes forever to clear my skin, at least 1 week to get rid of a pimple

Doesnt work well for small pimples and i have smooth skin and it tends to make it flaky but it is ok.

Pros:

Doesn't excessively dry out skin, Fast results
Doesn't smell bad, Easy to use
Available in generic(which works just as good!)

Cons:

Price of name brand formula, but I would buy it full price if I had too ;)

Honestly, I have tried a lot of things for my acne. All the over the counter washes & scrubs, Retin-A, The acne.org regimen, even Pro-activ didn't help. My acne flared up really bad this year, little white heads, black heads, big cyst-like bumps. So my dr. gave me a sample of Benzaclin and in 2 weeks I noticed major results! My skin drys out easily, which was an issue with other products. Not the case with this. The brand name isn't covered by my insurance, and its a tad too pricey for me. I now use the generic which is the 2 active ingredients in separate tubes. I wash my face with Purpose liquid soap twice daily and apply the medicine in the morning and at night. I moisturize every morning and at night if my skin feels tight. I have only had 2 bad pimples since using this and a few small white heads. Everyday I am clearing up more and more. I wrote so much just to give you the full picture of how it works for me...It's definitely worth a try. Good Luck!

Pros:

Miracle in a bottle.

Cons:

My skin got somewhat worse before it became acne free.

Since I have oily skin, it helped to dry my skin somewhat and lessen the "shine" that I had. I had moderate acne around the sides of my face and chin area and benzaclin changed that for me. It is affordable with insurnce, (I paid $15) and really is the only acne treament wich worked for me. I am a teen and in college and not wanting to look in the mirror in the men's room sucked. But I would'nt take the time out to write this if it was'nt worth it. I love this product, used every otc system which never worked. But now I can honestly say my skin is flawless, no scarring and I want to thank Benzaclin for that!

Pros:

Clears up skin fairly fast.

Cons:

Skin gets really dry, flaky and red. Bleaches fabric.

It's decent, unless you have sensitive skin. I think my skin is too sensitive to use it.

Pros:

Works great and FAST my acne cleared in about 2 weeks with only a few blemishes and maybe one zit.

Cons:

Doesn't really prevent acne

Works amazing. This stuff was seriously my magic pill. I used this for about 3 months when I ran out and just stopped using it, my acne didn't come back for about 6 months where I just got another prescription for it and it is working amazing again.

Pros:

it really works, cleared up my face in a few weeks

Cons:

some dryness, have to wait an hour before applying moisturizer and makeup.

i love it. it's the only thing that's ever worked for me. i spent a lot of money on over the counter stuff and even tried proactiv - that failed miserably. it made a slight improvement but if you even stop using it your whole face breaks out right away! benzaclin saved my life. too bad i didn't use it before i got all these shallow scars and red marks on my face =( like i said, the only thing that really was a con was that you had to wait one to two hours before you can apply lotion and makeup. so i always had to wake up two hours earlier in the morning than i had to just to get ready. but i can live with that if it means my face will be smooth.
