Pros:

Saw changes within the first week of use.

Cons:

Dryness, slight burning with application.

I have been commented many times in relations to my skin. Luckily I don't have bad skin, but in accordance to going through puberty recently I've had the occasional zits and blackheads. I use this along with solodyn and a retin-a, and in one week my face cleared up. It's been six months and I haven't had acne since! I've used tons of creams, prescriptions, expensive medications, cheap over the counter drugs........and nothing has worked but this. It dries your skin but it's nothing a good moisturiser can't fix. If you have mild to moderate acne, this is the product for you.

Pros:

Works very fast and makes my skin feel less oily.

Cons:

Like any other topical acne cream a little peeling and redness but nothing to worry about

Duac works very well but like all topical creams it's a quick fix that gives you clear skin for about 5 months after you stop using it. I don't like the thought of taking Isotane so topical creams and doxycycline is what I usaually take. Once off presricption stuff I just use Clearasil.

Pros:

It controls blackheads which I've never really had a problem with.

Cons:

I've been using it for a month and it keeps the areas where your acne was very red and hard like it just pushes the pimple down and compacts it.

not worth the money. if you don't have insurance it's like $175

Pros:

Clears up acne completely with rare, if any, pimples every now and then. Makes skin shine-free all day.

Cons:

VERY drying. Makes skin all peely and burny. Lotion is a must or people will stare at you oddly.
Also it can be quite pricy.

Get it.! When you first put it on, within a few minutes, you will notice the swelling of pimples going down. But for it to really soak in and start working, it sometimes takes up to a month or more if you have bad acne like I do. But after that it's great. And you don't have to constantly re-apply makeup, it keeps you nice and shine-free.

Pros:

I love benzaclin...my face never has any pimples on it anymore.

Cons:

No cons really. It will leave white stuff on your face but as soon as you wash your face it all comes off so thats good.

Give it a try, you have nothing to lose. It works amazing for me!!

Pros:

My dermatologist prescribed me this medication while I was breastfeeding my son since this one one of the safest medications during this time. My acne started to diminish gradually while I was using this medication as well as my acne scars.

Cons:

Dryness, but controllable with moisturizer (Cetaphil & Clinique).

I only use a small amount of cream on acne prone areas of my face and still have a lot of cream left after 7 months of using the 50 g bottle. My face tend to get a little bit dry around my nose, chin, and cheek area, but it is under control with moisturizing 10 minutes after I apply the cream and also after I wash my face in the morning. I have tried Differin, and it seems like Benzaclin is much more effective.

Pros:

Was alright at treating my acne. Not to impressed

Cons:

It cause me to become very sensitive to the sun. I break out in hives every time the sun hits my skin unless i take claratin, which I take everyday.

I may be an anomaly as far as the sun issue goes, but I have friends who have had the same problem. I'd go with something else.

Pros:

NONE

Cons:

I've been using benzaclin for 4 months and my face is worse than ever. I used to use proactive and had about 10 break outs. Then I went to the dermatologist to get professional help before my face got worse. Well, now, I have about 40 pimples!

I have clusters of whiteheads and bumps all over my chin and forehead and some pimples on my cheeks. My dermatologist said it takes time and often is worse before it gets better. I hate how I look and can't believe everyone else had such good results so soon! I'm also using atralin and taking doxycycline as prescribed by the dr.

Pros:

Works really well. Improves skin appearance after quickly, and leaves completely zit free skin after a few weeks.

This is great stuff. I had moderate acne and tried lots of other topical creams and gels and none of them worked. I've been on Benzaclin now for several months, and haven't had more than a couple zits since I started using it. Recommended.
