Pros:

It actually worked for me. It didn't dry up my face too much. It cleared up my skin and made my skin softer.

Cons:

It hasn't eliminated my post-acne marks. It can make my face a little red.

I tried just about everything except pro-activ. I tried all the fancy kits just to be left with no results, especially since I figured out that the astringents in the kits were making my acne worse. I had just about given up until I went to my doctor. She prescribed me Duac topical cream and some face lotion/soap that came with the cream. It works amazing and I'm so happy it worked.

it may dry your skin at times..

i have adult acne and was thinking about acutane, my husband anc cousin told me not to go thru with the acutane,my cousin had recommended duac, because she uses it and her skin is flawless, well anyways i had asked my dermatologists and i got duac by june4th and started using it right away, it didnt burn my face like other meds, and i could feel a difference the next day, by 2 weeks it was clearing up.. it is now july 27th and my faced cleared up and i continue to use it to keep it that way. i just prolly need to get some laser done for the scarring ..lol

Pros:

Have been using it for about two weeks and my skin is almost perfectly clear. Applies as a gel and isnt noticable its on. Doesn't overdry your skin or make it feel greasy.

Cons:

None as of yet.

I only had mild to moderate acne so if you fall within this range i suggest giving this product a good go. Couldn't be happier with the results seen thus far.

Pros:

My face is smooth and when I tough it I feel skin, not just annoying bumps everywhere. My skin tone has improved and there have been days where I didn't even put on base with the rest of my make up and went out in public! Something I would never done

Cons:

My skin got a little drier, but I have naturally oily skin so I don't really have to worry about peeling. just a light moisturizer. THat's the only con to this product.

Iv'e used Pro-activ and have lived through basically every disapointing product out there. I went to this site and read about how benzoil peroxide works and decided to see a dermatologist. He perscribed me benzaclin along with an oral antibiotic and my confidence has improved a thousand fold. I wake up in the moning and actually debate on whether I feel ilike wearing base. Bottom line, this product is amazing and I would recomend it to everyone!

Pros:

I have been fighting acne for 2 years and this is the first product that completely cleared my face up. From time to time I will get one or two zits--- nothing compared to what it used to be.

Cons:

Dries out skin.. I've found that if you use oil free moisture (esp. neutrogena) and benzaclin it balances out the dryness and oil.

I recommend this product to anyone who has been fighting acne for a long time... this is the answer. One day, smaller zits. By one week- smoother skin and smaller pores.

Pros:

It actually helps clear my skin. Although i did go through a small initial breakout, overall it does wonders. My skin usually gets dry with benzoyl peroxide alone but with clindamycin it seems to make it not as dry and oily in some areas.

Cons:

i guess the only con i would have with it is that the tube is kinda small and i have to back to the doc to get a refill, but that's not really the duac's fault

Try it if you have mild-moderate acne, it might work. and if clindamycin doesn't work that well by itself, then you have to try this because i think that the clindamycin and benzyol peroxide actually work better together than with just clindamycin by itself. plus the gel is so much easier to apply on and it goes on smoothly. i got it free with my insurance.

Pros:

this stuff worksssssssssss

its pricey but who cares as long as acne is gone

this stuff started to work from Day 1 and after 2 weeks, all my acne was gone.it also helps to fade off black spots...its worth the price.the only thing that happened is that i stopped using it because i tot i wont get anymore ance....then i started to use another cream....i had pimples all over my face..i started to use benzaclin again but it didnt work....im jus going to go 2weeks widaut using any acne medication den il go back on benzaclin.i know it wont disappoint me
