Pros:

Works amazingly for my skin.

Cons:

When I first began using it, it would make my face feel tight and uncomfortable for a bit.

I have been using Duac for almost 2 years now. When I first started using it, it did feel dry and tight when i put it on at first, but after my skin got used to it, it improved greatly. I didn't have severe acne, but enough to bother me. It does have 2 antibiotics in it, so my dermatologist said it's a great med for someone who can handle it's strength. I just got it filled again, and it came with this SFC lotion stuff, and i tried that tonight and it make my face feel very clean! Has anyone else gotten that with theirs?

Pros:

It's clearing my forehead really well.

Cons:

If you put on too much, it makes your face turn red. It makes my cats want to lick my face, lol

I've been using for a month, and I've seen a little bit of improvment. My face is clearer and less red. My forehead is clearing up well, but my cheeks and chin are still breaking out. =[ I'm also taking minocycline along with this.

Pros:

I had amazing results within just a couple of weeks. It worked really well in conjunction with a nightly regimen of Differin.

Cons:

May dry out your skin a little. Also can stain bedding and clothes. Also, as with every other topical medication I've used, it eventually lost its effectiveness as my skin became acclimated.

Ask your dermatologist about Benzaclin coupled with Differin. Like anyone with acne knows, ANYTHING is worth trying at least once to reduce or eliminate this painful and embarrassing condition.

Pros:

I had horrible acne in my early teens, when I was about 12-13. I was prescribed Benzaclin by my dermatologist and it WORKED. It made my skin flawless.

Cons:

Although Benzaclin INITIALLY worked, after about a year, it slowly stopped working. I had to switch to another prescription.

For the three years that I took it, my acne was moderate. It was AMAZING in the beginning. However, in the end, I was still getting acne. This product does not help with black-heads and it OVERLY dries out your skin...so be sure to use a good moisturizer. However, DO NOT let this discourage you. Benzaclin saved my life..it just stopped its magical effects sadly. Good luck :)

Pros:

Dries out your pimples really fast! And I really mean it since I've used for just about 2 weeks

Cons:

Gets your skin really dry and at first red.But just use a high quality moisturizer and you'll be fine. For example I use Avene clean adjustive care for anti-treatments.

It's definitely worth a try.It should work for people whose skin is ok with Benzoyl Peroxide. As I said earlier ,it dries out my skin but I use products from Avené line which are very good but expensive ones. For people who are not sure what to use( that's how I was) I would recommend going to your dermatologist and asking this prescription. Also it is the only thing that is actually helping me so far.I noticed first results overnight.Good luck to everybody.People`s review for this website have helped me a lot.
