Pros:

After using accutane a year later I started to break out again. I couldnt bear taking accutane again. DUAC is awesome! You have to be CONSISTENT! Use as directed every night! Best stuff I have ever used!

Cons:

cost it has been repackaged now and comes with a face wash. Ask your pharmacy to give you the old one they still can get it and its a LOT cheaper!

Awesome!

Pros:

Does diminish spots much quicker than other products. Overall keeps blemishes controlled.

Cons:

Blemishes still come back if you have persistant spots. Does not get rid of acne or give you health skin

Duac works well enough, but not great. If you feel a pimple coming on, it helps it go away much faster, but I dont feel its effective as an overall treatment to get rid of acne and make skin healthy. You look washed out and dry, and persistant areas keep recurring.

Pros:

clears up skin somewhat, definately better than some brands and 100% better than just cleanser and moisturizer

Cons:

could be drying for first time users or people with sensitive/dry skin, no problem for me

It does work, but doesn't get rid of acne or acne scars. There are products out there that work much better than this, especially for the price, which can be high for people without insurance. Once I stopped using this, however, my skin got worse than it was before.

Pros:

improvement in my skin, in just about a week!

Cons:

bleached my carpet :(
sometimes drys out skin

its a very good product, and you can see results very quickly with your acne! BUT be careful not to get any on your floors, rugs, or carpets, because it can bleach and stain them permantally! :)

Pros:

Pretty good stuff! Smooth consistency allows even application.

Cons:

Can bleach textiles, but so can any poduct with BP. Doesn't control all of my acne. Initally drying. tier 3 on my insurance= most expensive

I would highly recommend this product. It has the best consistency of any of the antibiotic/BP topical I've tried. I use it in the morning and differin at night. I use oil free moisturizing lotion and foundation almost every day and applying over the duac is smooth and no streaking.

Pros:

Still mixed feelings

Cons:

Burning, redness, peeling, drying, more breakouts

I used this along with differin at night. It makes me a bit red, some drying on skin and my chin started to break out more. My right cheek seems to be breaking out but I think the left one is healing. it kind of cleared up my upper lip and my temples. The forehead seems to remain the same. I've only been using it for 19 days, so I guess I'll stick it out for another month.

Pros:

The first night I put it on i found that the next morning all of my acne was gone.

Cons:

after using it for a while it some acne gets through it but it does block out alot.

I've had very bad acne for 3 years, and i know that acne can control your whole life, your friends will make fun of you, girls won't like you, but this product can change all that. Proactiv, Clean&Clear, etc. don't even come close to how much this works.

Pros:

worked amazingly cleared all my spots at first

Cons:

after a few months of useing it started to burn me :S

i developed acne in the summer i went to the doctors and he prescribed me duac, it was amazing, it worked straight away and i had the most unbelievably clear skin. i recently went back to the doctors to renew my prescription and after applying it keeps giving me a horrible itchy burnt face wherever it has been applied. i thought maybe this was because it was a new tube so i decided to go back to my old tube but i was still experiencing the same thing! i am very confused as to why this is happening now when i have been using the product for months and nevr experienced anything like it prior to this fourtnight! i have now also got started getting acne back :(

Pros:

This product works quickly, is clear and not too heavy or greasy to apply, absorbs fairly quickly

Cons:

Dries out skin, so you must use a moisturizer.

Duac cleared up all my skin in seriously, about a week. It kept it clear for years (during highschool) so I wasn't wearing make up or anything. Sometimes, I wouldn't even wash my face and I would just apply Duac and it still kept me pretty clear (give or take a few pimples, but nothing big at all). Now, however, after a couple years, I've broken out worse than before on my cheeks, where as before I used to mainly break out on my forehead. My skin started getting a lot drier and flaky as well. This may have had to do with the change in setting (I went to college), but I think what happens with Duac is since it's 1% Clindamycin (antibiotic) and 5% benzoyl peroxide, it works really great but you can become immune to the Clindamycin. Now, I'm starting to clear up again, although I have red marks that I'm waiting to go away. I'm still on Duac, and I really advise it.
