Pros:

Dries out your pimples really fast! And I really mean it since I've used for just about 2 weeks

Cons:

Gets your skin really dry and at first red.But just use a high quality moisturizer and you'll be fine. For example I use Avene clean adjustive care for anti-treatments.

It's definitely worth a try.It should work for people whose skin is ok with Benzoyl Peroxide. As I said earlier ,it dries out my skin but I use products from Avené line which are very good but expensive ones. For people who are not sure what to use( that's how I was) I would recommend going to your dermatologist and asking this prescription. Also it is the only thing that is actually helping me so far.I noticed first results overnight.Good luck to everybody.People`s review for this website have helped me a lot.

Pros:

I have used it for 3 days.Never had acne before.
No burning sensations, no bad smell either.

Cons:

None so far.

Have a first time,a mild outbreak of acne, near my mouth/chin area. Duac seem to calm it all down. Can cause slight dryness but a moisuriser makes it all good again. Can't wait for more results.

Pros:

Its got rid of my bacne which i suffered for 5 years. iv only used it everyday for 3weeks so far im clean. i can sweat alot and still have a clean back. the scars are healing now that the acne is no active. IM CURED AND I CANT BELEIVE IT! love it.

Cons:

it drys out your skin but it eventualy goes when u balance it with a non alcoholic non fragranced moisturisure. il rather have a dry back then a spotty one at the end of the day. It only goes dry to because its breaking the clogged up skin. then goes

Its a cure and a miracle. I will continue using it even though i dont need to because i missed applications for 3 consecutive days and sweated like a pig lol and still did not have a single spot or any sign of redness (the sign of active acne skin).

Pros:

-Works. I went from severe cystic to completely clear.
-Surprisingly, this worked when even Differin and Tazorac didn't.
-Did i mention this works?

Cons:

-I don't get much of the dry skin/redness others write about. Maybe it's because I'm asian, I dunno.
-I have had a few shirts ruined from the peroxide bleaching them, but if I'm acne free I honestly don't care!
-Creams are inconvenient

GET IT. USE IT UP TO TWICE A DAY. enjoy clear skin without having to go through accutane.

Pros:

clears up acne 100%!

Cons:

extremely drying. stick it out for a few weeks and it'll get better. My dermatologist has a special moisturizer he makes, that works wonders

FABULOUS! The only thing that has ever worked for my skin. My face had gotten so severe that I was told I'd have to take accutane. In the meantime i started taking minocycline and benzaclin for the month and a half before i would go back to the derm to start accutane. When I went back for my follow up, my dermatologist didnt even think i was in for my acne (it was gone, cleared up!) Don't bother with Retin-A or Differen, I've tried it all. This is the ONLY product that works.

Pros:

Works great....and fast. Face feels un-oily.

Cons:

Dries face out....and can give a burn look...

Bottom line with a No-Oil Moisturizer its hands down the best medication I have ever used. As my acne is in the crack of my lips...and Benzaclin is working to perfection.

Best product for acne
My skin had lots of little zit like acne especially on forehead and cheeks. I tried so many products, cream, treatments, but nothing worked ! Some products even made it worse. Then my friend recommended me duac, so I got it from doctors prescription. It's an antibiotic that kills bacteria that cause acne. To my surprise, this product is a miracle. It cured all my acne in just two weeks!!! I'm so glad I bought this gel. I've never had a beautiful skin in my entire life like I have now.

It works that fast?
September 12, 2012

Pros:

Works quickly and effectively
One tube lasts a long time
More effective than anything I've tried previously

Cons:

Spots will come back when you stop using it
A little bit irritating at first, will flake skin if you don't moisturise

I've had mild to moderate acne (no cysts) on my t-zone and the sides of my cheeks every since high school (now 24). When I was a teenager, I never really thought going to the dermatologist was necessary so I tried every OTC product under the sun - Proactiv, Neutrogena, herbal stuff over the internet - you name it, I've probably tried it. Nothing really worked so once I got to college I finally went to see a dermatologist, who prescribed Duac, which worked almost immediately. Within a month my spots had cleared up. For the first time since I could remember, my face was completely, 100% clear!! Every so often I'm fooled into thinking my face is now permanently clear, so I stop using Duac, and the spots always come back. Every time I stop, within a few weeks the spots reappear, so I guess I'm stuck with this forever, which is the only negative. This burns a little bit on the skin, but I've found it goes away within a week or two. BE SURE TO USE MOISTURIZER because your skin will flake if you're not careful! It's quite drying. My routine is the same in the morning and at night: 1) Wash ace with fresh brand soy face cleanser 2) Apply DUAC 3) Dab on SK II Skin Signature Cream This product combination has given me the best skin I ever remember having - clear, bright and even. (I also used a lot of Aveeno face products before I decided to splurge on SK II and I've found it also works very well in combination with the Duac.)

Pros:

Cooling, Works fast, Works well on body acne

Cons:

Small Tube, Dryness, May not work for everyone.

As a 15 year old suffering from bad acne since I was 11, I've used a lot of acne products, but Duac was the most effective. It works best when used with some sort of cleanser.

Pros:

Clears skin of pimples and acne scars
Reduces oily skin

Cons:

No cons!

I, like most acne sufferers, had tried most everything. I was prescribed Duac and Retin-A. What I found from those two products was that Retin-A was stronger for use on zits, which I didn't have much of. Duac was a miracle on the smaller pimples and scars. Only use it at night and in the morning, use a moisturizer with sunscreen. A good brand is Eucerin or Advocare Definite Difference.
