Pros:

Worked, easy to apply and it was free for me (on prescription).

Cons:

Stopped working after a long while. I guess my skin just got used to it.

I was very happy with this product for a long time, but now it sadly doesn't seem to work. I think that may be the anti biotic part of the cream. I'm now happily moving back over to BP gel.. and wondering why I stopped just using that.

Pros:

Short term wonder. Clears up acne, skin is not oily or irritated.

Cons:

Toxic. Chemical damage to skin over time; skin becomes raw and discolored, destroys acid mantle protecting the skin from infection; antibiotic and BP absorb into body and can poison organs and beneficial bacteria, leading to systemic yeast infection

Probably better to deal with root causes of acne now instead of dealing with them plus additional, scarier health problems caused by Benzaclin later on when it stops working, which eventually it does. It stopped working for me after three years and for the friend of mine who was on it and we both got really bad acne after stopping, skin that was raw and unhealthy, and had systemic yeast infections.

Pros:

easy to dispense, went on easy, cleared up existing acne

Cons:

didn't prevent anything, RED sunburn like skin, flaking peeling and tightness, no great difference

the results do not outweigh the redness and peeling

Pros:

Works quickly
Doesn't dry out skin
Doesn't irritate Skin
Isn't sensitive to sun

Cons:

Heals little by little, not one night and its no more acne

This product works well on moderate acne and after the first night my acne was clearing up, it works quick, but doesn't heal all acne in one day.

Cons:

Do not use this product. It worked great for 10 months then all of a sudden

Do not use this product. It worked great for 10 months then all of a sudden I ended up getting a burning sensation in my stomach that went down to my intestines on and off during the day. I went for blood tests, urine samples, stool samples and even an endoscope and everything came back good. I was taking a probiotic along with Duac at the same time. I stopped the probiotic and the issue still persisted. My Dermatologist, Doctor and Gastroenterologist all said they doubt it was from the Duac Gel. But I stopped applying it to my skin for a week and I no longer had anymore stomach issues. This thing works like a miracle drug but in the long run the benefits aren't worth it. Please be aware if you get any of these side effects to stop taking it right away.

Pros:

Made a big difference in clearing my acne after the first time I used it.

Cons:

After the second time I used it I became severely allergic with a red rash over my entire face, very dry, itchy and bumpy. It's even under my chin and on my eyelids where I didn't put the gel. It's really horrible and I look freaky.

If you are allergic to any creams or lotions on your face, you will be allergic to this - don't use it. I am allergic to any moisturiser or sunscreen that has perfume in it, and I've had same reaction as that. It's really disappointing because I have a massive (I'm talking really huge) spot on my forehead that has practically vanished after using it only twice so I can see that it would really work, if I could use it. But now I look worse than I did last week because of this hideous rash. I have to use cortisone to get rid of it. It's a bit expensive too, cost $45 although I will get some back on my health insurance (not sure how much).

Pros:

Haven't seen any yet, but early days.

Cons:

Redness
Itchy
Very dry
Skin feeling tight

Today is my fourth day of using it, so I can't really say much about it. But I'm hoping to see some results in the coming weeks.

Cons:

a lot

please, however bad your acne is, never use this product. its far too aggressive to your skin. even if you don't have sensitive skin don't use it. there are so many other ways to cure your acne. stay away from all those aggressive chemical creams and give your skin the time to heal.
